“Partial-Enlightented Realm is not as powerful as you think. If you were ever to set foot on the Beyond, you’d realize that Partial-Enlightented Realm is hardly worth the mention,” Gu Changge leisurely noted, describing Partial-Enlightented Realm as if it was as worthless as dirt, though, those were plainly mindless jabbering.

After all, anyone that achieved Enlightened Realm was indubitably formidable. Moreover, with their survivability of thousands of years, they were considered important beings of the Cult of Immortality and unnamed factions in the Beyond.

“Prince Gu, can you explain to me what is above Partial-Enlightented Realm?” Upon those words, Su Qingge’s appealing eyes glistened as she was visibly fascinated by the topic. [What could possibly be above Partial-Enlightented Realm?]

“True Enlightented Realm comes after Partial-Enlightented Realm, obviously. Why is that even a question?” After taking a sip of his drink, Gu Changge faintly replied.

Despite receiving a perfunctory answer, Su Qingge did not give up, after which she silently refilled Gu Changge’s cup, and upon pondering for a short while, she gently moved over as a subtle fragrance surged in the air.

“Prince Gu, does this feel comfortable?” Su Qingge walked to Gu Changge’s back and began massaging his shoulders as if she was his servant. Although her hands weren’t exactly trained, her gestures felt inexplicably pleasant.

“Oh?” Gu Changge lifted his brows as he was slightly dazed, realizing her behavior today was in opposition with her identity as the female protagonist and her remarkable aura.

“I know it will be hard to please you, but I have no plans of giving up,” Su Qingge replied frankly. If there was a third person with them, they would surely accuse the woman of being cunning, though she was only being wise as she knew not to hide anything whenever she was with Gu Changge.

Gu Changge, in the meantime, acknowledged that he could never have any disdain for the woman. Naturally, he was aware of her thoughts. [Not only is the woman intelligent—not willing to be a thoughtless vessel—but she is also ambitious. In fact, I have to admit that I appreciate such a woman. Sadly, she has yet to touch my heart, and I do not have any intention to be moved. Though, I don’t mind some bedly actions.]

Thinking that, Gu Changge suddenly noticed that, after breaking Su Qingge and Ye Chen up, the ambiguous sense of danger in his mind had dispersed. In other words, the so-called Negative Fortuity could only occur in relation to the Fortuitous One and his close ones. Su Qingge, on the other hand, possessed abundant Fortuity that was at least ten times of normal people. Despite that, Gu Changge felt that he could kill her off anytime he wanted now.

[Having High Fortuity doesn’t mean she’s the Fortuitous One, and thus she receives no protection from the Gods. Well, that makes sense. After all, the Fortuitous One can only be the typical protagonist.] Gu Changge thought in his heart as he came to a realization.

“Well, True Enlightented Realm comes after Partial-Enlightented Realm, and anyone from that Realm can light up the Godly Flames and possess basic abilities of a God. Beyond that are Realms so overbearing that their existence alone belittles True Enlightented Realm.” With that, Gu Changge, who was clearly merry, added to his explanation.

“Thank you for the guidance, Prince Gu. I feel enlightened. So after Partial-Enlightented Realm, there are True Enlightented Realm, Enlightened Noble Realm, Enlightened King Realm, Sacred Realm and so on.” Su Qingge was also cheerful, but after saying that, she grew disaffected. After all, she was only in Transcendent Realm, which was notably far below Partial-Enlightented Realm, and there was no telling if she could ever achieve Partial-Enlightented Realm in her lifetime.

“Prince Gu, I will do everything I can to earn your affection.” After some time of contemplation, she earnestly stated as her flawless, stunning eyes fixated on Gu Changge. Those words were spoken with sincerity without the slightest hesitance.

In response, Gu Changge mischievously answered, “You may try.” [Earn my affection? Am I, the antagonist, really that charming to turn the female protagonist around so quickly? No, I don’t think so. Su Qingge is simply making the most righteous, most rational choice she could.]

All of a sudden, Gu Changge heard whispers from Ming Lao.

[Interesting… It is as I predicted.] He revealed an uncanny smile.

While various forces of Eastern Barren were aggressively charging toward Supreme Stygian Holy Land, Ye Chen took the opportunity to escape from the prison, mostly thanks to Gu Changge’s Mind Convergence Pill, of course. However, it was all under Gu Changge’s estimation. Accordingly, Gu Changge left Su Qingge without telling her about Ye Chen’s escape.

Baffled, Su Qingge peered at Gu Changge, who stood up and left without a word. [Did I upset him again? He’s as unpredictable as ever.] As she revealed her helplessness on her face, she started to contemplate, attempting to figure out what she might have done or said to have offended the man.

In the meantime, outside the gates of Supreme Stygian Holy Land, intimidating battleships and flying boats were floating in the sky, appearing immensely daunting. As thousands of figures concealed the sunray, the warriors’ aura was highly overpowering while frightening beasts in the sky began roaring and shrieking.

Pseudo-Sol Holy Land, the Apollo Empire, as well as the Ancient Age Clan were eminent forces in the entire Eastern Barren, as their empires had persisted for thousands of years. After hearing about the passing of Supreme Stygian Holy Land’s Supreme Elder, they immediately planned an allied assault to put said holy land to ruin, like wolves closing in on a deer.

Nonetheless, in that instant, everyone, including the Pseudo-Sol Holy Land’s Supreme Elder, was dumbfounded. Gawking at the ever so serene Supreme Stygian Gates, the elderly man in white couldn’t help but glower, whispering, “Why are they opening the gates? They didn’t even set up any defenses and simply waited for us to approach?”

“Supreme Stygian Holy Land opens its gates without activating its protective seals? Are you submitting, knowing very well you haven’t the capabilities to face us?” At that moment, the senile emperor of the Apollo Empire, donning a dragon robe and a golden, violet crown, yelled with a voice that forcefully thundered through the sky toward the gates.

Followingly, the Supreme Stygian Archbishop, along with the elders and disciples, leisurely walked toward his adversaries. “Have you all come here perhaps to pay Prince Gu a visit?” The Archbishop inquired with a subtle beam and condescension in his voice.
