“Done?” The Great Elder asked as his expression remained completely calm. Though, it was still clear he did not want to do this from the start. Even during that entire war, he only moved to suppress the strongest within the True Dragon Clan. He did not participate in any of the following battles.
In regards to Gu Changge’s sudden revelation as the Successor of the Ancient Reincarnation Supreme Being, it had also greatly astonished the Great Elder. Before that, he had originally thought that Gu Changge would borrow the might of the Immortal Gu Family to suppress the True Dragon Clan. He never expected that Gu Changge’s true hidden trump card was his status as the Successor.

He soon looked over the horizon, somewhere distant. His eyes swiftly swept across the many experts before he showed a slight smile and spoke. “As the Successor of Skyward Schloss, I, Gu Changge, have the obligation to clean up and resolve the chaos in the True Dragon Clan.”
The numerous natives and outsiders watching from a distance were immediately stunned. They did not understand what he was saying.
“Erm?”
“Gu Changge, you… you really are utterly ruthless and shameless!” Even the Great Elder was confused for a moment. He did not understand why Gu Changge would say such a thing in front of the many different factions from the outside world. That was, until it sunk in. Once he realised what Gu Changge was planning, his brows jumped as rage filled his heart.
Skyward Schloss had always been neutral. It never interferes with the power struggles between factions. Even when Gu Changge was their Successor, they had not provided him any aid during this war. However, what Gu Changge had said implied that they had helped him. What’s more, they were the ones who pushed him to do this.
Instead of stating the personal agreement he made with the Great Elder that day, he said this. It was now obvious to the Great Elder what he was planning. He only took a moment before he understood everything and became livid.

“Humph!” The Great Elder interrupted him. His face was completely gloomy. Space blurred and he entered the void, disappearing into the distance. The Great Elder had decided that from henceforth, all of Skyward Schloss’ affairs would be thrown to the current Palace Master.

To him, there should be no need to hold someone on a pedestal, while at the same time, never overly belittle others. He said this to spur his Young Master to be better. After all, both Wang Wushuang and Gu Changge were Successors of their respective families, and could be compared with one another.
Naturally, it was impossible for any Young Master to destroy their respective Immortal Families no matter how awful they were. The heritage of such families was too vast and deep. Though, there should be no reason they should accept mediocrity. So, the old monster felt that he did nothing wrong when he belittled his Young Master.

Meanwhile, after hearing what he had said, Wang Zijin, who had been staring at a figure out in the distance, shook her head without saying a word.
“Young Master, since you were the one who brought it up, might I ask, what is this ‘absolute power’ you speak of?” The old monster was more than happy to use this opportunity to educate his Young Master.
