Here is the question. Can Yang Kai use his time manipulation to make the medicinal herbs mature instantly? We know that they matured when he cultivated that technique but that was just an indirect effect of the four season beads. I wonder if the secret technique itself can achieve that effect? If he can then he has an op skill that ever alchemist would dream of and that would be tooooo op(I’ll explain the exact reason later). If he can’t then that would be weird because time and space are absolute concepts in Cultivation worlds so if it can affect humans why would it not affect plants? But if it really can affect the plants…. So oldest Origin king we know that old man from Yang’s starfield who died in tribulation and he was 5000y old so a third order dao source realm to age from young and vigorous to old whose teeth are falling it will at least take 7000y(at the very least). So that technique Yang Kai used should make people age that much. The medicines in Yank Kai’s medicine garden are growing 100x faster than normal so if you add the time manipulation technique too, then the medicines affected should age by 700000y in a few breaths of time and that would be wayyyyy toooooo ooooppppp. I think the author might leave it as a plothole and not give Yang Kai the ability to make medicines age by more than half a million years. What do you think?

The author could also just say that medicinal herbs don’t ripe any further then 100000y or Smith and introduce exception once he needs them.

Nope, we still had no idea what that meant except for the fact that he was up to no good. It was interesting to see what kind of tomfoolery was to be found. Instead some little brats barely weaned from their mommy’s teat spoiled the very exact thing so not cool.
Also, YK really don’t have to worry about the side effect of using the HBL since the SWL can prevent one soul from being corrupted like when he got stuck in the mirror world back in TXR and from becoming demon back in the inheritance war. I guess the author only let him get corrupt by the Ancient Demon Qi is because the right Demon eye is more pure than the left demon eye in terms of Demon Qi strength.
