      why do you even need to catch up to the raws? are you worried about your chinesse friends dropping spoilers?

  7. Silavin, you mentioned in a comment to another reader that these chapters would be out quicker if someone was helping to translate. Does google translate / grammar correction do the job?

    1. Well, it does take more effort than that. Sentence structure also requires changes and maintaining the glossary.

      For the quality of this novel, I normally take around 3 hours to TL a chapter. Some might be faster and some might be slower but I would say the effort for this in terms of translating it would take roughly that amount of time; even for MTL.

  8. Why is it 100 bucks on patron for 29 chapters ahead? That’s insane any way you can make it 1 for 1? If it was a dollar a chapter you would get more support. Plus like most people are saying the raws are at 5k + so why do you guys hold so many chapters when you already make 2k per month? Cant you release more?

    1. Well, I guess I’ll repeat the story again in the index.

      This is sort of a history that I think can be quite interesting as a form of legacy.

      Originally, we only had tiers till 60 for the longest time. The number of bonus chapters for that was also 19 chapters.
      At that point in time, one of the Patreon really wanted to just have a 200 dollar tier. And this tier did not have any benefits. He just wanted to support the team.
      Well, I felt bad that it was so much for nothing so I just made a 100 dollar tier. Of course, this went on for a few months and we didn’t really have a whole lot of chapters to add to as ahead chapters so I started to give bonus chapters to the 100 dollar tier.

      Initially, it was 2, then 6 then 10 (from the 60 dollar tier). So, that’s when we came to 29 ahead right now. Actually, the free chapters that were released last week (of 2019), the 4 chapters were supposed to be used to bump up the 100 tier but I decided to shift it to give it out to everyone for free.

      Also, the situation with PewPew and me is that we are mainly doing this as a hobby and not a job. I’ve been paying for other novel chapters to give back to the community in my own way.

      I’m not sure where you get the idea that we are hoarding that many chapters but sure.

      1. Side 1 is frustrated because there are 5000 chapters and at current rate that would take 10 years to translate. and likely this group will lose interest before completion at current rate of progress.

        people want to discuss a series they are reading but they can’t because of fear of being spoiled because they are not caught up.

        Side 2. is frustrated because the demands presented by the community seem impossible with their current ability.
        Side 2 is also concerned with where the hording chapters rumor came from, that rumor is obvious, if you go to chapter index and expand volume 6 it goes up to chapter 1999 but those chapters are blacked out. this is basically noting that they have up to chapter 1999 and you could access them if you were premium.

        I understand this is not actually the case, but it feels like that’s what you are saying with the presentation of your website.

          But, I’d rather have people who misunderstand than to literally generate those placeholders every week.

  9. Paying for other chapters? My dude I’m looking at 5k raw chapters right now how do you have to pay for them? If google translate wasn’t so crappy I’d just run it through that but honestly the terms and sentence structure are so crappy that it’s not worth it. Now if you need a site to the raws so you can translate it for free I’ll happily post it so you can get chapters out. As far as 29 chapters for 100 bucks that’s highway robbery. Webtoon charges like 50 cents per chapter of a manga and you are telling me text with no pictures is almost 20 times that? Come on man that’s just plain silly.

Sure 100 dollars is a lot but I would still be willing to do donate that much every month since I enjoy reading this and I tried other websites but everything especially the grammar is way below of your translations. I just wanted to ask, how many chapters do you usually upload on Patreon a month and would I be able to read all of the chapters currently available there if I donate 100 dollars even though the available chapters exceed 29 chapters?     1. The release speed on Patreon is the same as the release speed on the website here; you just support the translators and get to read a few chapters ahead based on your tier.

      I quite like the Patreon method since I get an email with all the chapters for the week every Monday and can binge them better that way 😛

      As for that anonymous dude trying to claim this is more expensive than Webnovel, you’re getting all these chapters for free… How the heck is that more expensive than paying per chapter?
      The Patreon advance chapters are meant for people to support the translators, not to pay to read more. They’re just a bonus for those that support the translators.

    1. 1 more chapter I guess and if you pay more you can get 2 or 3 more chapters according to the pack you purchase… The rate you will be recieving chapters will be same as now… But it will be 1,2 or 3 chapters ahead according to how much you pay per month

For the $5 a month I can only go up to 1163, which i have already done. Just a little confused and need clarification. Thanks for the translations, you guys are definitely the best by far.
