After receiving their certificate from the Tower Conquest Guild, Kousuke and his group proceeded directly to the official guild. With all requirements now met, they were ready to establish their own guild in Seichun.

They could have chosen to create their guild in another city, but that would have left them with merely unofficial status in Seichun. Thanks to their newly acquired certificates, they could now establish a proper guild without any concerns.

As they entered the official guild during a relatively quiet period, Kouhi and Mitsuki’s presence immediately drew the attention of the nearby Adventurers. Kousuke approached the counter where they could speak with a receptionist without waiting in line.

“What can I do for you?” The red-haired receptionist asked with a brilliant sales smile.

“We would like to apply for the creation of our own guild,” Kousuke stated.

“Yes?” The receptionist’s smile instantly froze.

Kousuke experienced a sense of déjà vu—he had witnessed this exact reaction at the Tower Conquest Guild just hours earlier. While he might have tolerated it once, experiencing it a second time tested his patience. He decided to move the conversation forward efficiently.

“We have met the requirements to create a guild, so please process the application. Here is our certificate.”

When Kousuke presented their certificate, the receptionist examined it with a fixed smile. “…There’s no doubt about it, it’s the real thing… but I’m sure these people are…” she muttered to herself.

Though her behavior was discourteous to customers, Kousuke chose to ignore it, understanding that their unusual circumstances warranted such a reaction. Since they were not pressed for time, this approach seemed reasonable.

The process ultimately mirrored their experience at the Tower Conquest Guild, with one notable difference—the commotion that erupted when the receptionist recovered from her shock attracted the attention of other Adventurers in the hall.

Kousuke did not mind this development. While the three of them could manage the initial guild activities independently, reputation would eventually become essential. Drawing attention from the start, even if unconventional, would benefit them in the long run. Their rapid progress in conquering the Tower would serve as an excellent reputation-builder for their fledgling guild.

Despite Kousuke’s strategic thinking, the official guild representatives engaged them in the same manner as the Tower Conquest Guild had done. When invited to meet with the official guild executives, they politely declined. After all, gathering Tower conquest knowledge was the Tower Conquest Guild’s domain, not the official guild’s. When questioned about their methods, Kousuke directed them to consult with the Tower Conquest Guild instead.

Their sole purpose in visiting the official guild was to establish their own private guild—Tower strategy information was irrelevant to this. After their refusal, they were finally permitted to proceed with the guild creation.

The day following the completion of all procedures, they officially commenced their activities under the name ‘Wolf Fang’—a tribute to Nana who remained faithfully by Kousuke’s side.

When Kousuke’s group departed, the receptionist who had assisted them was summoned by her superior. Naturally, the official guild executive wanted information about these unusual visitors.

“Who are they?” the executive inquired.

The receptionist shook her head. “I was also responsible for updating their guild card, but I found nothing particularly unusual about them. I thought conquering the Tower might be challenging for a C-rank Adventurer, but they appeared to know what they were doing.”

“Hmm.” Finding no fault with her account, the chief simply nodded. “They broke through the 21st floor about two weeks after arriving in city, huh?”

While not unprecedented, similar occurrences had significantly impacted Seichun in the past. The possibility that history might repeat itself couldn’t be ignored by those in leadership positions.

“The Tower Conquest Guild knows the details…”

The relationship between Seichun’s official guild and the Tower Conquest Guild was strained at best. They performed similar functions, but the official guild had long maintained that Tower profits should not be monopolized—a position never accepted by their counterparts.

“Well, what should we do? Let’s report this to higher-ups for now, but the question remains how they’ll be involved going forward.”

The receptionist listened to the chief’s musings, hoping she could soon return to her regular duties.

After leaving the official guild, Kousuke and his companions visited a local restaurant to eat and discuss future plans.

“So, what are you going to do next?” Mitsuki asked.

“For now, we need to find a suitable location to build the base of our guild,” Kousuke replied.

Both Kouhi and Mitsuki nodded at this obvious first step.

“I suppose so, but where are we going to build it?” Mitsuki inquired.

“I initially considered the city center, but now I’m thinking the suburbs might be more appropriate.”

“The suburbs?” Mitsuki tilted his head questioningly.

Kouhi, however, immediately grasped Kousuke’s reasoning. “At the base of the Tower, right?”

“Oh, I see,” Mitsuki remarked, understanding dawning on him.

Kousuke nodded at Kouhi’s insight. The Tower Conquest Guild building was already situated at the Tower’s base, so adding another structure nearby should not pose any problems.

“We’ll need to discuss the structural details with Wahid and the others,” Kousuke noted.

None of them possessed the expertise required for Crown building construction. Although they planned to remain active in the area for some time, construction was not a field for amateurs. Considering their long-term objectives, consulting with experts from the beginning made the most sense.

Afterward, they explored Seichun, nominally scouting potential base locations but not immediately purchasing any land. They simply familiarized themselves with the city, behaving much like tourists to any observer.

After thoroughly enjoying their exploration of Seichun, they returned to their inn without taking any specific actions.

Upon arrival, Kousuke immediately contacted Crown Headquarters. Unlike his previous communication with Gazeran, this time he reached out to Wahid, recognizing the need for expertise in land selection that Kousuke himself lacked.

When Kousuke explained their situation, Wahid simply replied, “I understand. I will go there then,” before abruptly ending the call.

While Kousuke was still processing the sudden disconnection, events began unfolding rapidly. A portion of his room suddenly illuminated, and two figures materialized before him—Wahid, the Crown director, and Eku, the deputy director.

Kousuke had already resigned himself to abandoning any hope of proceeding quietly after causing commotions at both the Tower Conquest Guild and the official guild. However, with the arrival of these two important figures, he realized that things were about to escalate far beyond his expectations.
