    Silavin

DDL (divinedaolibrary.com) is operated and owned by Silvain. With over 5 years of experience in the web-novel translation industry, Silavin has journeyed through various roles, from a translator to becoming a site-manager. He has demonstrated a profound commitment to quality in the novels he oversees, from 'Martial Peak' to 'Fated Villain'. Such novels would not possess the quality they currently have without his hand in them. In 2017, Silavin, just a serviceman serving the army of Singapore, was hooked on wuxia and xianxia novels. Silavin could go weeks reading and immersing himself in those worlds. There, he stumbled onto a novel, whose translation has ceased. Dedicated to continuing it, driven by a vision to one day have this novel fully translated with quality, and contribution to public, he created this humble site. Without much prior experience in this field, he dove in head-first. Learned programming, learned how to translate, learned how to work in the online space of anonymous people.   Now, after more than 5 years, he, and the community that supports him, has brought DDL to its current heights.   'I would like to thank all of you who have supported us throughout this journey. DDL and I would not have ever been able to finish what we have started without all your support. Thank you. I would truly like to thank you.'

by Silavin Translator: Tamon   January 16th.   Despite Lantern Festival having only been yesterday, cultivators had no such thing as 'holiday hangover,' starting a new year of cultivation at the first ray of sunlight.   Langde city was bustling, with a hint of rush looming in the air. Outside, its defensive array was activated, covering the immortal city in a blue haze. Palm-sized snowflakes and cannon-sized hail peppered the stormed city, with all stopped behind the light…

Chapter 201, Wang Qi’s Foundation Cover
by Silavin Translator: Tamon   The Neumann bottleneck referred to the von Neumann calculator's limitation when performing calculations, wasting time and having a lower efficiency. The better the hardware, the faster the computational power, but the more glaring this weakness became.   There were many storing functions dependent on the Neumann calculator, making the difficult development lead to stagnation.   To solve this problem, Earth's scientists delved into non-von Neumann…

by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Another year flew by unknowingly.   The somber atmosphere enveloped the Medicine King Estate, blanketed in pristine snow, trees and eaves adorned with icicles, while a chilling wind swept through.   Su Chen, dressed in his usual attire, completed an hour of practice in The Mayfly Chapter's Dormancy stage. He arrived at the Errand Hall compound to find disciples bustling about, preparing for the annual cleaning, burning incense, and offering…

Chapter 66, The Ugly Copper Coin Cover
by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Su Chen had no idea what the black-robed swordsman wanted to say.   "He wasn't talking about jellied tofu. It was just a way of hinting at something. Tomorrow night is the martial competition, and there might be some trouble then. But that's for the leadership of the various groups to handle. It doesn't concern us. Better to stay out of it and avoid any trouble."   "Does this mean that Mr. Han knows something about the martial competition? Maybe we…

Chapter 62, Golden Warrior Talisman Cover
by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Su Chen now had his first set of spiritual materials to craft a talisman, and he eagerly wanted to try making one. However, crafting a talisman couldn’t be done within the Medicine King Estate or within Gusu County City. Any disturbance would attract other errand disciples or unwanted attention.   Su Chen ventured deep into the Vaulting Mountains, miles away from Gusu County City, to a secluded and quiet place. He built a simple bamboo shelter to conduct his…

Chapter 60, Golden Fox Brush Cover
by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Su Chen held the heavy and cold golden brush in his hand, sensing its spiritual energy; his eyebrows rose in surprise. It was a treasure brush! Hardly any of them were genuine metal-attribute spiritual brushes! True metal spiritual materials were beyond what normal ones could ever compare. The spiritual energy it contained was extremely rich, not easily scattered after a few stirrings. Who knew just how the store owner even got such an exquisite…

Chapter 59, A Trip to Lou County Cover
by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Of course, over the past half year, Su Chen hadn't been completely without success when it came to spiritual materials.   He often went out to perform various errands, traveling between counties and trekking through mountains and fields. Once, while crossing a small river, he happened upon a tiny stone in the stream with a faint blue aura of spiritual energy. Another time, while resting in a small grove of trees, he unintentionally brushed against a fragment…

Chapter 64, The Bustling Gusu Cover
by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Ah Chou flipped over like a fish, rising from the messy ground.   Having long since grown accustomed to being knocked down by Su Chen, he was unflustered, and even joked for a moment. He was a bit weary from cultivating martial arts and rested on the steps of the City God Temple.   "Confident enough to reach my level?" Su Chen chuckled.   "Of course. I am but mid first-rate, while you, Brother Chen, are at late first-rate, though the gap…

Chapter 61, Three Years Dormant Cover
by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Autumn passed, and winter came.   Since Su Chen returned from Lou County, three years came and went in a blink of an eye.   Su Chen was seventeen now. He had grown taller, no longer the skinny and weak kid from his younger days, but rather a young man with clear features and a calm, composed demeanor.   These years were spent in the Medicine King Estate's Errand Hall, cultivating quietly, doing errands, and rarely bothering with matters…

by Silavin Translator: StarReader   Su Chen and Ah Chou strolled along the bustling streets of Gusu City, chatting as they went.   “Besides those two major events, Brother Chen, you probably don't know that many young experts have emerged from various groups! They are mostly inner disciples within these major factions and already hold the title of first-rate experts. Their ages are comparable to ours, yet they’ve attained significant renown in the martial arts world at such a young age. This…
