“What a deep spellbook! You’re so lucky…” She was moved. Delight and surprise were written all over her face. And at the same time, she felt satisfied that her kindness to Hei Ming didn’t go in vain, seeing how she was the first person he sought upon discovering such a mysterious spellbook.
“Why don’t you give it a try, Yanyu? If you find it useful, you may even share it with Father and the rest of the Elders…” Hei Ming suggested with a calm look as he was forcibly containing the thrill in his heart, trying not to reveal any odd behaviour.
