Chen Changan frowned at the unconscious girl in Hong Yi’s arms. “How did she end up like this?”

But this was not the time for that. He needed to heal her first.
In the Absolute Domain, Chen Changan used creation to turn a herb into a pill and feed it to Ling Bao’er. Her wounds healed in moments, and her wane face regained a healthy pink glow.
She soon woke up.
A red light flew above Soaring Immortal Mountain. Li Feihong appeared out of it, coming here to take Ling Bao’er’s life. He gave the mountain a cold look.
“Humph, her signature is around here somewhere. Does she think I won’t find her?”
He soon reached the immortal temple at the peak of the mountain. Ling Bao’er’s energy came from within.
Li Feihong sneered, feeding his rampant spiritual power into his shout. “Girl, get out of the temple right now!”
Chen Changan and the demons heard him.
Ling Bao’er heard him and gnashed her teeth, “Master, that geezer wants to kill me.”
Chen Changan rubbed her head, “Let us see just who has the nerve to go after my disciple!”
Chen Changan walked out with a recovered Ling Bao’er next to him, looking furious.
By her Master’s side, she knew not such a thing as fear.
The demons came behind, looking ready to draw blood. [Anyone who touches Young Master’s disciple deserves death!]

Li Feihong waited for Ling Bao’er to come out, but due to Absolute Domain’s cover, he didn’t notice the three demons and Chen Changan inside.
His plan was to get rid of Ling Bao’er so he could go home and refine the Sacred Immortal Sword. He believed he would become the head of Ghost Province once he made the Sacred Immortal Sword listen to him.
Chen Changan’s arrival woke him from his dreams, then he noticing the three demon kings.
“So she fled to this shabby temple because she has help here.” Li Feihong sneered.
He only spared the cultivationless Chen Changan a glance before forgetting about him.
When he focused on the demon kings, however, his sneer froze. Their aura, might, and disposition clearly pointed out they were in Nascent Soul Stage.
Not one, but all of them!
[Three demon kings?!] Li Feihong was dumbstruck.
The thought of killing Ling Bao’er vanished, now only thinking of getting out alive.
He was conceited, but aware of his level as well. He might be able to duke it out with one demon king, but three? He was a goner.
[For crying out loud, how the hell did this girl get three demon kings on her side?] Li Feihong was scared to death.
He had a Sacred Immortal Sword, but before he could wield it, it was nothing but decoration.
“Humph, you won’t get away by harming Young Miss that easily!” She Zini glared, figuring out the situation and signaling the other two to stop him from running away.
Just as Li Feihong jumped, he found himself surrounded by three demons. “Damn it! What are three demon kings doing here?”
Li Feihong grimaced, his heart tense.
Chen Changan looked at him with a cold gaze. [It’s a Nascent Soul expert.]
“Bao’er, you actually escaped from a Nascent Soul.” Chen Changan praised.
Ling Bao’er hunger her head, her voice meek. “Master, I drew him away with Sacred Immortal Sword so I could escape.”
“It’s just an immortal sword, nothing of value.” Chen Changan didn’t care much about it.
The sword was hardly strong. Besides, he’d get far more mileage out of a disciple than from a hunk of metal.
On top of that, Ling Bao’er was his very first disciple, her positions invaluable. Her death would make him feel regretful. Chen Changan planned on raising her to become a top expert in the world.
Ling Bao’er was touched by his words, hugging him. “Yes, it’s all thanks to Master giving it to me that I got to see you again.”
Chen Changan rubbed her head, smiling, “It’s alright now.
“Since the geezer wanted to kill you, go out there and vent.”
Li Feihong wasn’t yet within the Absolute Domain, but Chen Changan still saw him beneath him. He not only had three demon kings, but even improved their talents, able to take on one Li Feihong, each.
Setting all three on him was overkill.
Chen Changan shouted, “Old man, you touched my disciple and now we’ll see if you’re death-touched as well!”
Li Feihong was worried but stubborn, cupping his hands, “I am Grand Elder Li Feihong of Evil Dragon Den. How may I address you, Fellow Daoist?”
He saw no cultivation in Chen Changan, just an average person, but the three demon kings clearly listened to him, which was why he showed such respect.
“Screw your *beep* address! Don’t just stand there, he wanted to kill my disciple. Clobber him to death!”
Chen Changan ordered the demons and they immediately executed.
They released their spiritual power, flooding the old guy with it from three sides.
