Of course, Chen Changan chose to pay.

He had 8,400 Domain Points after the system upgrade and he would use 5,000 of them to have the Everlasting Immortality affect his ever-expanding Absolute Domain.

That left Chen Changan with 3,400 Domain Points.

The Absolute Domain changed after he finished his transaction, it took a mysterious air, mystical, Immortal, and boundless.

The Absolute Domain was now an Immortal Land.

Ling Bao’er noticed the radical change and looked around her, at the Immortal energy surrounding her. She felt like she was in the lands of Immortals.

The endless Immortal energy flooded her system, filling her with bliss, though she could not place it why.

The Everlasting Immortal Tree now found itself in its own home, in the new Immortal Land, making its flower dazzling and vigorous.

The other spiritual herbs started changing as well. This new land of miracles offered them the chance to turn into Immortal Herbs.

Chen Changan saw all the changes the Everlasting Immortality card did to the Absolute Domain. “It feels different from before, but not by much.”

Of course Absolute Domain was different, but since he was a Mortal, he couldn’t feel it. A cultivator, however, would be so shocked his heart would stop. Cultivating here would be an immense improvement over outside.

Living in an Immortal Land, surrounded by all this incredible and subtle power would allow Lower Realm cultivators the chance to turn their body into an Immortal body.

Furthermore, they had the chance to become Immortals without the need to ascend.

News of an Immortal Land being on Soaring Immortal Mountain would be sure to take the entire Nine Province Continent by storm; along with endless casualties.

Chen Changan knew that with his Absolute Domain turned into an Immortal Land, the change would be huge.

He turned to the other card, Mirage. The new ability this card offered had Chen Changan ecstatic.

“Ha-ha, this thing is great.”

Mirage could consume some Domain Points and make him an Avatar.

The Avatar’s strength depended not on his cultivationless self, but on the amount of Domain Points he spent to make it. The Avatar would be destroyed when it suffered a strong attack or ran out of energy. Furthermore, at minimum, his Avatar could last for a day, though it increased as more Domain Points were used.

To make an Avatar a carbon copy of his current self would cost 500 Domain Points.

Chen Changan sighed. [This thing’s expensive.]

He couldn’t take Mirage’s upkeep even if he had a lot of points. Though Chen Changan still liked it. He might be a deadbeat, a destined neet for all eternity, but now he got the chance to go out.

He would totally use it. He could control his Avatar like he wished and didn’t have to worry about safety.

“My lifestyle keeps getting better.” Chen Changan laughed.

He still had 3,400 Domain Points. [Should I use 500 and play around with Mirage? That’s 500 Domain Points.]

Chen Changan hesitated. “It’s not like I’m lacking in Domain Points.”

He used them just then on Mirage.

A mirror formed in front of him, shining like the moon. Inside the mirror appeared Chen Changan.

He looked on with curiosity.

His reflection moved just then, coming out of the mirror. This was Chen Changan’s Avatar, looking just like him in every sense.

He was feeling strange, however, as the avatar connected to him. “How strange, it’s like there’s two of me.”

Chen Changan played around. While he lay in his chair, the Avatar strolled around the garden.

Chen Changan approached Ling Bao’er.

Ling Bao’er opened her eyes and gave him a long look. “What’s up, Master?”

“Do I still smell?” Chen Changan smiled.

Ling Bao’er sniffed and gasped, “Master, how come the scent is gone?”

Chen Changan looked smug and pointed at his chair.

The him from the chair waved at her.

Ling Bao’er went bug-eyed. “Why are there two Masters?”

“This is my Avatar.” Chen Changan smiled.

Ling Bao’er exclaimed. “Master is so amazing. It’s my first time seeing something like this.”

Ling Bao’er poked his Avatar. “It feels so real.”

Chen Changan rolled his eyes. “Of course, now keep cultivating. I’ll be out for a stroll.”

“Master, I want to come along.” Ling Bao’er hugged his arm.

“Almost forgot, Bao’er, this place has now become an Immortal Land.”

“Immortal Land?” Ling Bao’er blinked.

Chen Changan spoke, “You can think of the Immortal World, or the Upper Realm, as an Immortal Land.”

Ling Bao’er’s eyes went wide. “Master, you mean to say the place where Immortals live?”

Chen Changan nodded and pinched her adorable cheeks. “My cute disciple, this is something none of the Nine Province Continent can enjoy. Just think, only cultivating in an Immortal Land will guarantee you’ll become Immortal. It’s only a matter of time. So don’t disappoint and work hard to become Immortal.

“This Immortal Land will help your cultivation immensely, so be sure to treasure it.”

Ling Bao’er let go of his arm and looked excited as she nodded. “Master, I will so that I can go for a walk with Master in the future.”

After deceiving the gullible Ling Bao’er, Chen Changan sighed in relief. His first Avatar had no cultivation and was bound to get in trouble. [Better not let my good disciple suffer as well.]

Chen Changan went out on his own, reaching the edge of the Absolute Domain. He snickered, with the boundary no longer striking terror into him, even looking eager.

“I’ve been a neet in the Eternity Coven for three years, and then another month in the Immortal Temple. Now, I finally get to walk outside.”

Chen Changan took his very first step beyond the safety of the Absolute Domain.
