“So go ahead, try killing me, take my land, the sword, and the Everlasting Immortal Tree, if you can that is.” Chen Changan taunted further.
The twelve Immortal’s aura exploded as they charged with the full intent to do just that.
Qiu Qiantu’s group watched from afar as the action started. “The Immortals are attacking.”
They waited for them to get rid of Chen Changan.
Chen Changan chuckled, “Your words are harsh, yet I don’t feel any contempt for how you’re attacking me together. Not like it’ll make a difference.”
Chen Changan waved the Sacred Immortal Sword.
He knew nothing about the sword arts on the Nine Province Continent. He only dabbled in the forms due to his hobby on Earth.
He executed a slash at the incoming enemies. It looked so average the Immortals mocked. [Immortal Lord’s vital artifact can only show its power in his hands alone! A Lower Realm bug has no right to wield it!]
The smirks froze on their faces and then devolved into goony looks of shock.
Chen Changan’s slash made the Sacred Immortal Sword unleash a glorious light show, its mighty power sending violent waves of destruction.
The Immortals felt its power growing and growing, while their worry mounted.
As the slash came, sword lights flooded the world.
Heaven killing, star destruction.
Earth killing, dragons’ demise.
Human killing, world upheaval!
Sensing the changes within the sword, the twelve Immortals were gripped by fear.
One of them shouted, “He’s not Human, flee!”
The instant they fought Chen Changan for real, they knew they were going to suffer, opting to run away for their lives. They all moved to dodge the slash.
*Rustle~* They turned into Immortal lights and used all their power to get away.
They were so focused on fleeing that they slammed with their backs into the Absolute Domain’s limit, trapping them.
Their hearts sank, but at least they got away from Chen Changan, or so they thought.
The more they watched, the paler they got.
The Sacred Sacred Immortal Sword tore a black scar into the fabric of space, containing utter annihilation. Not even Immortals could escape such destructive force.
The Nine Province Continent had its own Principles and so did the Black Tortoise Immortal Domain they came from. While they could suppress the former’s Principles, they could never break them and tear the fabric of space. That would need power beyond what the Nine Province Continent’s Principles could withstand. Something Chen Changan’s slash had in spades.
In their dusty memories, one ancient passage emerged that sent every Immortal into shaking from terror. [I-is he the Immortal Slayer? The Immortal Slayer isn’t an Immortal but had the power of one!]
