He reached out for it. Black light wrapped around his hand and vanished.

The rend healed.
Chen Changan looked at the dumb Immortals, “Immortals sure are something. They managed to survive my slash.”
The garden was eerily silent, with only Chen Changan speaking.
Ling Qingshan, the Immortals, and Qiu Qiantu’s group from afar were frozen as they just gawked at Chen Changan.
The shock fried their brains.
“So… strong.” Ling Qingshan gulped hard.
He merely guessed Chen Changan was an Immortal Slayer, but not one so outrageous as this, to the point that the Immortals could do nothing but flee.
They didn’t even try blocking, merely able to run for their lives.
“H-how can this be?” Qiu Qiantu paled and stammered from sheer disbelief.
Ling Bao’er’s eyes sparkled as she gazed upon her almighty Master.
Chen Changan’s hair flowed in the wind, and the Sacred Immortal Sword in his hand made him look like a dominating Sword Immortal, cool, and awesome. It was as if the world was his oyster.
Chen Changan hooked his finger at the panicking Immortals.
“Don’t just stand there. Our fight has just begun.”
“A-are you an Immortal Slayer?” One Immortal stammered in terror.
“What’s that? Is it strong?” Chen Changan asked.
The twelve Immortals were silent, feeling his insult. [You’re clearly one yet act the fool?]
It still didn’t change the fact that they couldn’t take on an Immortal Slayer, at least on the Nine Province Continent. They had to be utter morons to attack one.
One of them spoke gravely, “It doesn’t matter anyway. Just hand over the Immortal Land and the Sacred Immortal Sword and we’ll leave.”
Chen Changan laughed, “You Immortals sure know how to bluff. When did I ever say you can go?”
The Immortals’ faces sank.
One stepped forward, advising, “Fellow Daoist, spare us and we could become friends in the future.”
“But I don’t want you in my future.”
“Fellow Daoist, must you be so ruthless? By killing us, you’ll incite the wrath of our Immortal Lord!”
Chen Changan said, “Is that a threat?”
“Our Immortal Lord’s power is beyond your imagination, even if you’re an Immortal slayer. Fellow Daoist, the path to Immortality is endless, you can’t stay cooped up in the worthless Lower Realm forever.”
Chen Changan said, “You’re right about one thing, the path is endless, but I’ll just be staying here forever and ever. Your Immortal Lord is free to come over whenever.”
The Immortals were grave and saw Chen Changan’s determination.
Since negotiations failed, all that was left was shedding blood. Their only hope of surviving was to go all out together against a mighty Immortal slayer.

“Charge!”
The twelve Immortal lights were blinding as they attacked.

One word was enough to stop the twelve Immortals.
