Ah’Miao told him everything she knew of what happened in Ghost Province, of Ghost Immortal’s implication and the factions focusing on Myriad Mountains.

They all wished to know what was Chen Changan’s move. Could he beat the Ghost Immortal? Would he flee instead?

While both were Immortal Slayers, the difference was that the Ghost Immortal came from the Upper Realm. Their powers had to be on different levels. Many had no hope for Chen Changan, writing him off already.

In a short time, the rest of the Myriad Mountains’ Demons would learn of this dreadful news as well.

Ah’Miao just happened to be the first.

Her first action was to come and inform Chen Changan. Ah’Miao worried for his safety. She liked him a lot. [Senior is amazing, making an Immortal Land, and is so nice in sharing it.]

Senior’s kind and reasonable demeanor belied his cultivation, unlike all the other high-level cultivators who acted so full of themselves. Ah’Miao liked that about him and didn’t want anything bad to happen.

Chen Changan offered her a kind smile making Ah’Miao ask, “Senior, aren’t you scared, nya?”

“Should I be? My answer to all coming looking for trouble is to kill them.”

The natural and confident answer made a believer out of her. Ah’Miao relaxed and smiled back, “I believe in you, Senior, nya.”

Her hand shone and three Butterfly Koi appeared. “Senior, these are for you, nya.”

“Didn’t you give me ten yesterday?”

Alright licked her lips, “Did Senior eat them? They taste incredible. Not a day goes without having a few myself.”

The suggesting licking of her suggestive lips painted a different picture.

Chen Changan sighed, [That’s a Cat Demon for you.]

Glancing at the swaying tail behind, he felt the sudden urge to cop a feel. Though he had the restrain to not keep it to himself.

Chen Changan chuckled, “The Butterfly Koi are growing in the Immortal Pond. I don’t plan on eating them for now.”

“Senior, then let’s try these three. The Butterfly Koi are nimble in the waters of the Jade Lake and it took me a lot of effort to catch them, nya.”

“Sure, let’s give the Butterfly Koi a try.” Chen Changan nodded.

“Senior, let me, nya.”

“Since you say they’re so good, let’s eat together.”

Ah’Miao blushed, “Are you sure it’s alright with you, Senior, nya?”

Chen Changan smiled, “Why wouldn’t it be?”

“How about here? It’s been a while since I had fish. I’ll let you have a taste of my cooking.”

Ah’Miao’s ears twitched. “Senior is cooking, nya?”

“Nothing to it. Fried, steamed, boiled, any way you can imagine.”

Ah’Miao looked at him in worship.

Chen Changan displayed his advanced cooking on the three Butterfly Koi. He hardly cared about the Ghost Immortal, not bothered with trifles.

While the people took him for an Immortal Slayer, which he wasn’t, he was nothing but an average guy with a hack, the Absolute Domain.

Be it Immortal or Immortal Slayer, all would find their end swiftly by crossing into his Domain.

Chen Changan showed off his cooking, making Ah’Miao drool at the intoxicating scent. “It smells so good. Senior is out of this world. I never knew you could cook Butterfly Koi like this, nya.”

“They have to have an amazing taste.”

The spectating Ah’Miao found herself drawn to Chen Changan’s side as he stirred the fish broth in the pot, her eyes gleaming.

“Senior, can I taste it?” Ah’Miao’s tail wiggled.

“Sure.” Chen Changan nodded.

It’s been ages since he cooked fish and was curious how it turned out.

Ah’Miao dipped her finger in. She then put it in her mouth and her eyes went wide as she moaned and sucked it clean. All the while her tail danced behind. [So damn good~.]

Chen Changan thought, [From your act, it feels like you’re after something else.]

Chen Changan asked, “How is it?”

“Senior, it’s magnificent. I’ve never tasted something so good in my life. The fish has to be even more amazing.”

“Is that so?” Chen Changan tested it as well.

“It could do with some seasoning, but this should do as well. Though the taste’s a little bland.”

Chen Changan added a pinch of salt then he took out the Butterfly Koi.

“Come, try the Butterfly Koi broth.”

“Thank you, Senior.”

Chen Changan and Ah’Miao enjoyed their meal.

At the first bite, Ah’Miao shed tears, her body shaking.

Chen Changan asked, taken aback. “What’s wrong?”

Ah’Miao wiped her tears, “Senior, in all my long life, I had my fair share of fishes, but I’ve never ever had something so good. I feel blessed by the divine.”

Chen Changan smiled, “Then have some more. You’re welcome to come to Eternity Temple anytime. I’ll make it for you again.”

Ah’Miao beamed with joy. “Senior, really?”

Chen Changan nodded. “But you’ll have to bring the ingredients.”

“Senior, you’re the best.” Ah’Miao gobbled the fish up.

She had her fill and lay at the side. “Senior, I’m so full.”

“Lie down then.”

He was impressed as he glanced at the clean plates, left with only fish bones behind.

[She’s like a little fish junkie.]

By cleaning her plate, showed she liked his cooking in spades.

He would’ve found a simple tavern meal good if he didn’t have the Eternal Body and could’ve cultivated.

Ah’Miao mewled, asleep.

Chen Changan glanced over to see Ah’Miao curled up with a content smile. Her cat ears twitched and her tail swayed, landing on Chen Changan.
