The Golem was being prepared while the summoning circle was being set up.

Other than setting up the food for the dependents, other tasks were left alone.

Kousuke thought it was fine because there were no problems that needed to be solved in a hurry at the moment.

Kouhi or Mitsuki would go out to the Amamiya Tower and gather the necessary materials, and Schmidt would take care of the remaining materials.

Fortunately, there was nothing that would take too long to obtain, and they were able to procure materials from the Towers that would otherwise be considered difficult to gather.

It had been ten days since Kousuke and the others had started creating Golems.

Floria was having a hard time.

The others had very little knowledge of Golems, and their reaction to being given this information was “Ooooh”.

However, Floria, who had been educated as a former princess of a country, knew what Golems were, for better or for worse.

Therefore, it was only natural that Floria was puzzled when she was shown the Golem that Kousuke and his colleagues had presented to her as a ‘prototype’.

“Floria, what’s wrong?”

“… I thought I was used to it, but when what I thought was common sense is ignored so easily, I guess I’m still naive.”

Sylvia’s question was answered by Floria, but everyone else still had confused expressions on their faces.

They wondered if they had done something wrong again.

At the same time, their eyes turned to Kousuke.

“Huh? Why are they looking at me like that? It’s not just me this time.”

“Think about what you’ve done so far.”

Collete cut him off.

It was clear that Kousuke wasn’t the only one involved in the production, but his past performance had drawn attention to him.

Kousuke felt that it was somehow unreasonable, but he decided not to argue. He felt that even if he did, he would be no match for them.

“Well, anyway, I don’t think this one deviates too much from common sense, right?”

The first prototype Golem was moving in front of Kousuke’s eyes.

Its shape was not human-like, but more of a craggy form.

It was their first priority to make it move rather than to mold its shape.

The first prototype was pacing back and forth in the same place.

A tray was placed on top of its hands.

The first prototype was a Golem version of the so-called tea carrying doll.

The reason it was moving back and forth was not because it could only move that way, but because Kousuke ordered it to do so.

If he wanted to, he could make it do something like  “moving from this point or to that point” properly.

“And it can carry the tea without spilling it!”

Kousuke emphasized this, but unfortunately, the reactions of the people around him were not great.

“Anyway, can you please retract your words about not deviating from the norm?”

Floria, who had brilliantly brushed aside Kousuke’s words, answered.

“It went far from expected?”

Mitsuki, who was somehow aware that this was out of the ordinary, asked Floria.

“Golems are usually made-to-order. The production only starts after receiving such an order, and the product won’t be delivered to the user until six months later at the earliest.”

They all finally understood what Floria meant when she said this was far from ordinary.

It was certainly strange that it only took ten days for them to make something that would normally take six months to make.

However, Kousuke and the others had an advantage in this.

“Ah. I think that’s probably because of the materials we have.”

“The materials?”

“Yeah. To begin with, even though they specialize in making Golems, there are some materials they can’t procure.”

“Don’t you usually order them in the required quantities after receiving the order?”

Mitsuki added to Kousuke’s words.

Collecting the materials was the job of adventurers.

It would take a certain number of days for the materials to bring it to the hands of a producer, before that, the producer would first place an order and the adventurers would receive it and collect the materials.

“Maybe if Golem production increases, and adventurers hunt for more of those materials regularly, the number of days it takes to produce them would decrease?”

“I can see where you’re coming from.”

Kousuke and the others’ argument was finally starting to convince Floria.

“Besides, for the one I made this time, I made the most simple part of the brain, so it didn’t take much time to produce.”

Kouhi and Isnani were in charge of the body and power parts this time, while Mitsuki and Kousuke were in charge of the brain parts.

The division of labor was also a factor in the time saved.

“It’s the same with the power part. At least we aren’t building anything complicated enough to be sent out to nobility.”

Isnani added about the power part.

What was made this time was a very simple Golem.

It was a reproduction of something from the early days of Golem creation.

“Umm, mmm. Well, well, I’m not that familiar with it, so it’s not strange if you say so… Is it?”

Floria was slowly starting to accept the arguments of the creation team.

“Floria, wait. I’m afraid they’re going to lose their momentum, but it’s not right no matter how you look at it. After all, Kousuke and the others were almost amateurs until ten days ago, right?”

It was when Shrein pointed that out, alongside Sylvia and Collete agreeing, Floria’s expression turned haggard.

They must not forget the fact that a group of mostly amateurs created this in just ten days… that alone was already out of the ordinary.

The four members of the creation team simply averted their gaze, as they couldn’t deny it.

“So, how long do you think it will take you to create what you want?”

“Well, I don’t know. It’s going to be a lot more complicated than this, so… About a month?”

Kousuke checked with the other three, as if to confirm.

The other three nodded in agreement.

“… People say you’re crazy because you can say things like that without hesitating, you know?”

Floria looked at Kousuke with a scowl.

“Ahahahahaha.”

For the time being, Kousuke chuckled wryly and tried to cover it up.

“What about this one you made?”

Collete pointed to Golem, who was repeating the same action from earlier.

“Of course, I’ll rebuild it a few times to make it more complex. Both the brain and the body.”

After a few more revisions, they would create a Golem that would set up a summoning circle for each Floor, which was their initial goal.

Thanks to their first prototype, they already had a good idea of what to do with it.

For the time being, they were planning to build a first Golem for Tower administration, and after that, each of the members would be free to make their own Golems.

Kousuke was looking forward to seeing what kind of creative ideas they would come up with.

Nowadays, Kouhi and Mitsuki were more enthusiastic about creating Golems than Kousuke.

Their understanding of Golems had already surpassed Kousuke and Isnani.

He was very interested to see what they would create.

Of course, Kousuke would continue to create Golems for the administration of the Towers. In some cases, it may be necessary to make a single Golem just for distributing food.

As long as he didn’t have to spend a lot of time setting up the summoning circle for bait, the Towers’ administration could still be developed(?)  in the future.

All of this was possible because they had some idea of how to create a Golem.

It was because Kouhi and Mitsuki were interested in Golem creation that they were able to produce results so quickly.

He did not intend to leave the creation of Golems completely to them, but it was still a surprising result for Kousuke.

Whether it was good or bad that they were interested in Golems outside his initial purpose was another matter.

Incidentally, Kousuke didn’t realize that he was mistaken.

The Golem that they were trying to create was for Kousuke’s benefit.

It would be some time before Kousuke would realize this.
