Kousuke suddenly remembered and asked Jal, who was in front of him, a question.

“Speaking of which, are you okay with the fact that there are more and more titles with the names of gods attached to my Dependents?”

In the beginning, there were only Divine Blessings such as “Divine Blessing of XX” or “Blessing of XX,” but recently there have been more and more things that he didn’t understand.

The most obvious example was “XX’s mischief”.

The name of this title seemed to suggest that it may have been some kind of curse, but that was not actually the case.

When Kousuke first found it, he was surprised and inquired about it, but was relieved to receive a reply saying that there were no such curses.

In this sense after all, Divine Blessing itself has also been known to have a negative aspect.

The most easy to understand receiver of this was Floria, who came to Amamiya Tower because of her Divine Blessing, which was in a way affected her negatively.

Besides, the person who received the title may receive either a negative effect, or the power of the title itself would have a negative effect on the receiver or other people around her.

In the end, it all depends on how the person who was given the gift used it.

Be that as it may, the number of titles with gods’ names attached to them was on the rise.

It had already been more than four years since Kousuke became an administrator of Amamiya Tower, and yet titles continued being added to his dependents.

These days, Amamiya Tower rarely had to Summon any new dependents.

Although the number of dependents on each floor increased naturally, the number of dependents itself remains almost the same because some dependents lost their lives from battle monsters or reaching the end of their lifespan.

Nevertheless, the number of titles continued increasing, which of course meant that the number of dependents with titles were also increasing.

Kousuke’s question was meant to ask if that was okay with regard to the management of the Gods giving those titles.

“Of course, no problem. I mean, if there was a problem, we wouldn’t have sent a Divine Blessing in the first place.”

Jal answered directly.

Incidentally, when the Gods said “Divine Blessing,” they mean all titles with the name of a god in a broad sense.

To the gods, “Divine Blessing of XX” and “Mischief of XX” were both Divine Blessings with no difference from each other, the main point being that it was given by a God.

“Is that so?”

“Yes. As I have told you before, we can’t just give Divine Blessing on something if the conditions aren’t met, no matter how hard we try. When the conditions are met, giving that title itself will not involve much effort.”

“I see.”

“Also, because the conditions in giving Divine Blessing itself is rather loose depending on what blessing is being given. Recently, there are more Divine Blessings that are rather very simple being received, right?”

Jal tilted her head, but Kousuke also tilted his head in the opposite direction.

“Was that how it works?”

Even if said Divine Blessing requirements were not that strict, they would not be able to figure out what title occurs and if it could even be considered a Divine Blessing.

“That is the case. Besides, titles having Divine Blessing or Mischief in it are easy to understand, right?”

“Oh, I see.”

In addition, Divine Blessing with loose conditions had the advantage of being inexpensive to bestow for the Gods.

In other words, even low-ranked deities could easily bestow such Divine Blessings.

This did not mean that low-ranked deities could not bestow a proper Divine Blessing, which had a high cost, it was simply easier to establish.

“It seems to me that just because they received a Divine Blessing with easier conditions to fulfil, doesn’t necessarily change the conditions for evolution.”

“I wonder about that? That’s out of my jurisdiction, but I’m sure Asura-sama would know more about it.”

Kousuke turned his attention to Asura, who was in the same room as them and listening to their conversation.

Asura tilted her head for a moment before answering.

“That is probably the case, and I don’t think the strength of Divine Blessing has anything to do with evolution in the first place, you know?”

Kousuke widened his eyes at her comment.

Until now, he had thought that the strength of Divine Blessing had something to do with evolution.

“Really?”

“Yes. Because, you know, there are beings that have been born normally as higher species regardless if they have Divine Blessings or not, right?”

“Oh, that’s right…”

Kousuke was depressed when he realised that he had just been told a fact that he didn’t notice.

Kousuke’s dependents, especially those that were directly involved with him, also have children.

Those children became Kousuke’s temporary dependents, but they did not have the same Divine Blessing as their parents.

“No, but wait. I think it would be easier for an individual with the same race to evolve if it had Divine Blessing, right?”

Asura seemed to be thinking for a moment in response to Kousuke’s question then responded.

“Just because it is easier to evolve does not mean that they will always evolve, you know?”

It may certainly be possible for a Divine Blessing to trigger evolution, but it was not absolutely necessary.

“No, but there’s also the whole right eye power thing? And there’s also the matter of Shrein and the others, right?”

With the power of Kousuke’s right eye, he could see things like the conditions for evolution after all.

And to evolve Shrein and the others, the power of a Divine Blessing mostly had been necessary.

“Yes, that’s right. But what you saw in your right eye was not an indication that giving Divine Blessing would cause them to evolve, you know?”

“Does that mean that there are other ways to expand a soul vessel besides Divine Blessing?”

“Was it not you, Kousuke, who said that Divine Blessing is not necessary for the first basic evolution?”

He had confirmed this with how a low-ranked monster evolved, it could not be seen with the power of his right eye.

“Now that you mention it… Hmmm. But, once again, we can’t really be sure what really are the conditions for evolution.”

“I guess you’re right. I don’t know much about it either.”

“What? Is that so?”

As Asura was in a position to manage the world itself, Kousuke thought that she would have some understanding regarding evolution.

“I only know at what percentage a being would. And even with that, I still won’t know if they’re really going to evolve. Didn’t I tell you that before?”

“Did you?”

Kousuke had completely forgotten even if he had been told so.

“Oh, by the way, is there only one kind of Divine Blessing that I can give?”

So far, the only Divine Blessing that Kousuke had given to his dependents was <Kousuke’s Divine Blessing>.

He wondered why there were no Divine Blessings such as “XX’s Blessing” or “XX’s Mischief”  in his case.

“Well, what do you think? You should be able to give it if you wanted to, but you’re the only one who would know how it would be given, you know?”

“What? Really?”

After all, Divine Blessing was the power and authority of that God. Even upon receiving a Divine Blessing, other Gods would not know what its effects would be if they were not the ones who bestowed it.

“Then how would I know if the conditions were right?”

Kousuke, tilting his head, turned to Jal and asked.

“Well, in our case, it’s a matter of paperwork and evaluation. Whether they can actually give it is another matter. Besides, the conditions will be completely different if it was from a being coming from another world as they would not be under the same system, so it won’t be much of a reference, you know?”

“I see…”

Kousuke had hoped that the Divine Blessing of other other Gods would give him some hints, but it seemed to be of little help to him.

Asura came to encourage the somewhat depressed Kousuke.

“In Kousuke’s case, since you are on the ground, I think it will be easier for you to actually give a Divine Blessing than those in the Sanctuary, you know?”

“Huh?!”

Kousuke widened his eyes once more when the fact that he had forgotten was directed at him, even though he had heard about it before.

“Did you forget?”

Kousuke broke out in a cold sweat as Asura stared at him with a stern look in her eyes.

“Uh, yeah, well. Hiii… now that I think about it, the only time I’ve ever tried to use Divine Blessing was in the beginning, so I don’t really know. I didn’t think I could use other kinds of Divine Blessing in the first place.”

It was impossible to know which Divine Blessing he could use, or really tried to understand what levels of power he had given.

It was only as expected since Kousuke had never tested it.

“Hmmm… When I get back, I’d like to try out the power of Divine Blessing a little.”

“You are free to try as much as you want, Kousuke.”

“I guess so. Well, these are things to be tested, so I’ll give it some thought and try it out.”

“It’s rather a little late for you to think like that, you know?”

Kousuke could only remain silent at Asura’s rebuke.
