Though many had never seen Hun Yuanjun before, legends of him had spread through many of the Immortal Spirit Civilisation’s universes.

Many dared not even utter his real name. They addressed him as Ancestor Hun instead.

He was an invincible Ancestor of the Hun Clan, who dazzled brighter than all through numerous eras.

No one thought he would appear within the Zhuo Clan’s territory and end up causing such a huge trouble.

“It has been many years since Hun Yuanjun last appeared in his True Body. It is said that he is creating an even more terrifying Technique…”

“When such a peerless being attacks, he would surely destroy the universe.”

“However, that mysterious Black-Robed Elder is just as terrifyingly and unfathomably powerful…”

Many from the various worlds around were looking at this scene in shock. They were the ancient beings of Clans who had also lived for aeons.

Hun Yuanjun emerged to resist the White Bone Ancestor King’s enormous hand.

Though he knew he was in the wrong, he was still a powerful being in the Immortal Spirit Civilisation. Would he stand by and allow someone else to strike him? What would become of his dignity if he allowed such a thing to happen?

“Let me explain, my friend. Since I have behaved offensively, I am willing to offer compensation.”

As Hun Yuanjun spoke, the mythical beasts that were drawn over by him immediately charged against the White Bone Ancestor King’s hand.

A terrifying energy exploded, drowning out the universe.

Many of the galaxies in the outer territories turned to dust at once.

“Compensation? That’s not for you to decide.”

The White Bone Ancestor King cackled derisively as he stepped forth with the black fog still around him. The entire sky seemed to sink.

His massive hand did not disappear. Still shrouding the sky, it continued to come down.

It was a horrifying sight. The sky had darkened. Even the stars had dimmed.

Chaos Qi transformed into some kind of energy seeds and swirled around his fingers.

“You’ve gone too far. Fine then. I shall see what you’re capable of!” Hun Yuanjun roared with a grim expression.

He had never lost a fight before. As someone who was used to dominating others, how could he possibly allow another to bully him?

Endless golden light floated around him, seemingly possessing immense power.

The two engaged in a battle, but the Spacetime of their battle zone turned into chaos.

Apart from those equally as powerful as they were, no one could clearly see what was happening.

The roaring thunder made the world shake, and the bubbling energy threatened to eradicate all of existence.

A fight between such powerful beings was undoubtedly terrifying. Worlds were destroyed and even the River of Time seemed to dry up.

The Zhuo Clan’s territory was shaking. All beings in the worlds felt frightened and uneasy.

It had been so long since they witnessed a battle of this magnitude. Even the Heavenly Elders of the Zhuo Clan could not interfere.

“A duel like this is not one that we can observe…”

“They’ve already moved to Other Plane, with no Principles or anything else to restrict them. Only their equals could venture over to their battlefield.”

Beings from the worlds across the Immortal Spirit Civilisation were looking over as well. The situation thoroughly caught the attention of the many ancient Forces.

Among the Zhuo Clan, the Senior ones were also shocked and uneasy.

Over in the Hun Clan’s territory, many of the Hun Clan were staring at the scene while trembling in fear.

Standing in the Zhuo Clan’s territory, Zhuo Fengxie’s expression kept shifting.

He did not expect Hun Yuanjun’s confident attempt to spy on Gu Changge would result in such a troubling situation.

Plus, it seemed unlikely for it to be resolved quite so easily.

The fight would last for quite some time. Even though Hun Yuanjun was at fault, it was clear that the Black-Robed Elderly man was merely acting under orders.

The one with the final say was Gu Changge.

[What did he mean by doing this? Is he warning the Zhuo Clan and the Hun Clan?]

Over at Breeze Ancient City, everyone was thunderstruck.

Although Hun Yuanjun and the White Bone Ancestor King had moved their fight to Other Plane, the terrifying aura still manage to speed out.

Many could see an arm made out of bones and surrounded by endless black fog. The hand kept stretching out as its owner attacked his opponent.

With just a flick of the hand, most of the sky and universe were shrouded.

And this was only one of the scenes from the fight that was reflected beyond.

They could not see the actual fight.

    “Master…”

Somewhere in the distance, Hun Yuanjun’s numerous Direct Disciples woke up and gasped when they saw the fight. Though they wanted to help him, there was no way of doing so.

Even if not all eyes were on the monumental fight, an overwhelming majority of them were.

Gu Changge was also observing the fight, but unlike the unease and worries that plagued the Clans, he was calmly sipping his tea.

The fragrance of the tea drifted up with the steam. He was sitting by the window which gave him a perfect view of the sky.

“Sir White Bone Ancestor King is indeed powerful beyond comprehension.” It was the Spirit Empress who spoke with admiration in her voice as she stared into the distance.

Alas, with her present strength, she could only see a hazy blur. She could not get a clear view of their fight.

Mo Tong, who was standing quietly beside her, could not hide her shock and disbelief.

She never thought the Black-Robed Elder, who was barely noticeable as he followed Gu Changge around, would actually possess such alarming strength.

His opponent was an Ancestor of the Hun Clan, an invincible being that she could only revere from afar.

“He has underestimated his opponent a little, but he does not need to win this fight. I simply wish to send the Zhuo Clan and the Hun Clan a message.” Gu Changge chuckled and set his cup down.

Since Zhuo Fengxie wanted to suss out Gu Changge’s attitude, the latter gave him the chance to do just that.

Inside Breeze Ancient City, numerous people were keeping a close eye on the fight. They wanted to know what the outcome would be. Many were sporting complicated expressions as they looked in the direction of Gu Changge’s temporary residence.

If they had not seen it with their own eyes, who would believe that the Black-Robed Elder who was duelling an Ancestor of the Hun Clan was merely the man in white’s servant?”

“Sect Master, when will we, the Scavenger Sect, have someone as mighty as that among our ranks?”

Inside an inn, Wang He and the rest of the Scavenger Sect were also paying close attention to the battle.

The hearts of many of the younger disciples were stirring. They felt a sense of admiration and anticipation. To them, what they witnessed today was akin to ancient legends playing out before their eyes. They never would have dared to imagine such a scene.

“That day will come…” Wang He was all fired up too. His heart was filled with the desire and longing for such invincible power.

He was now in the Quasi-Dao Realm. All he needed was a suitable opportunity to break into the Dao Realm.

Once that happened, he would certainly be able to grasp the mysteries of the Scavenger Tome and soar to greater heights.

“Now that I think about it, a being like him is merely someone else’s servant. In that case, just who is that mysterious man in white?”

“I’m afraid he’s a being whose power and origins are even more beyond our comprehension…”

The younger disciples who thought of this and spoke up felt even more stunned and in disbelief.

    It sounded like a fairytale.

If they tried telling others about this, no one would believe them either.

After hearing their conversation, Wang He could not help but feel disgruntled. He recalled the way the man in white had jumped in halfway to steal the grey-haired young woman he had his eyes on.

Even though he tried to tell himself to ignore it, the incident felt like a thorn in his side.

Whenever he thought about it, he would feel extremely indignant and unhappy. It was as if something of his had been stolen away from him.

This feeling stayed with him for many days now. He could not even focus on his cultivation.

Plus, he now thought of the power that being’s Elderly servant possessed. It was precisely the kind of strength he yearned for.

Yet, what was the point? Someone that powerful was still merely a servant.

“Stop. Stop talking about it. There’s no use in dreaming of such lofty things. You can only go further by taking one step at a time.” Wang He admonished them as his thoughts had left him with a sour expression.

Upon seeing that their Sect Master was angered, the disciples of the Scavenger Sect fell silent.

They did not know what had gotten into him. He rarely raised his voice at others.

“That expert would have at least passed his Fifth Decay Tribulation. Yet, he is only someone else’s servant…”

<Weren’t your disciples just speaking the truth?>

Just then, a crisp and emotionless voice rang out in Wang He’s ears.

He was startled at first, but soon, he realised what was happening. A look of excitement began spreading across his face.

Still, Wang He was not one to display his emotions. He swiftly composed himself and dismissed his disciples before using his divine sense to respond to the voice.

“So everything they said is true, huh?. In that case, can you tell me more? Do you know something about this?” He asked. “A cultivator who has overcome his Fifth Decay Tribulation is merely a servant… how ludicrous.”

Alas, the indifferent voice did not answer Wang He’s question.

    She simply chuckled, somewhat mockingly.

Wang He’s brows creased slightly. He was used to the Artifact Spirit of the Scavenger Tome ignoring him.

This time, he assumed that the Artifact Spirit was interested in this matter as she had asked him about it.

But in the end, she was just as aloof as ever.

Wang He was beginning to think he would never be able to get her to submit to him. His dream shattered.

<I didn’t expect to hear such an amusing thing when I woke up. Still, I’ll give you a word of advice. There are some things you should not look too deeply into. It won’t benefit you in any way.>

The Artifact Spirit of the Scavenger Tome spoke as coolly as ever, but she seemed to have deduced Wang He’s intentions and was warning him not to endanger his life.

Once Wang He heard that, his brows relaxed a little.

“Are you saying that because you’re concerned about me?” He asked with a smile.

She had spoken far more than she normally would. He believed it could only be because she cared about his well-being.

<You’re so full of yourself.> Alas, the Artifact Spirit’s voice was as emotionless as ever. She immediately stopped talking.

“Sooner or later, you’ll submit to me.”

Wang He shook his head. His smile faded.

The Scavenger Tome and its Artifact Spirit were two separate entities.

However, the Artifact Spirit had some control over the Scavenger Tome, so despite being the owner of the Scavenge Tome, Wang He could not truly assume full command over it.

Fortunately, the Artifact Spirit had changed. Instead of trying to leave with the Scavenger Tome, she seemed to have given in to her fate.

Either way, Wang He made a note of the Artifact Spirit’s words and strange reaction after hearing about the incident today.

Eventually, the epic fight came to an end and stars fell like raindrops.

Large patches of the sky had crumbled. Though the terrifying auras had subsided, many places had been reduced to ruins.

This was only the result of the shockwaves that got out of the Other Plane. It was hard to imagine how terrifying the centre of the fight would have been.

However, no one knew just how horrific the fight had been. They did not know who won either.

When Hun Yuanjun returned to the Zhuo Clan’s territory, he looked the same as ever.

However, Zhuo Fengxie noticed that Hun Yuanjun’s complexion did not look too good. His breathing was uneven.

Clearly, Hun Yuanjun did not manage to gain any advantages. He probably suffered a great loss instead.

“Tomorrow morning, come with me to visit Young Master Gu and apologize to him.”

Hun Yuanjun did not say much else to Zhuo Fengxie. In an instant, he vanished.

The fight was deeply humiliating to him.

Upon hearing that, Zhuo Fengxie’s expression turned grim as well. The domineering Hun Yuanjun who had never been beaten by anyone was no match for that Black-Robed Elder.

Zhuo Fengxie knew that if he duelled that Elder, the same would apply to him as well.

[The situation has become even more complicated and problematic…] Zhuo Fengxie’s brows were tightly furrowed as he sighed inwardly.

Meanwhile, the White Bone Ancestor King had just returned to Gu Changge’s side.

Unlike Hun Yuanjun, he was cackling wickedly.

“That was a good fight. He was no slouch. I guess you could say he has about 70 per cent of my power.”

“However, if it were you, Young Master, I believe you could’ve crushed him with a single finger.”

The White Bone Ancestor King felt rejuvenated by the fight. It was the first time he had a proper battle since his awakening.

Mo Tong stared at the White Bone Ancestor King with a look of awe.

It was her first time being in close proximity to such a being.

The White Bone Ancestor King’s earlier comments had already left her thunderstruck, but when she heard what he said at the end, she froze in utter shock.
