Zhao Qi had never felt such fear, even when facing Heavenly Tribulations or an unknown enemy. His hair was all standing and he was trembling involuntarily.
However, the feeling merely lasted for an instant and had quickly vanished like an illusion.
Zhao Qi still had a bewildered expression as he attempted to calculate the coordinates of the Mountains and Oceans True World again. It was fortunate that he did not feel that sense of fear again.
“What happened just now?” Zhao Qi simply could not understand what had happened. Even with his current cultivation level, he still could not decipher what he had experienced earlier.
“Forget it. This world is massive and there are plenty of unexplainable and unbelievable things. This is just one of them…” Zhao Qi let out a sigh and stopped thinking about it.
After a few more divination, he was certain of the Mountains and Oceans True World’s coordinates
Soon enough, Zhao Qi gathered his men and ripped open the universe in front of him. The group left the Radiant Yang True World and started to travel across the Boundless Expanse.
From far away, Gu Changge had retracted his sight too. “To think you are starting to find trouble with me before I have even made a move.”
Gu Changge let out a chuckle and did not mind this minor matter.
It was impossible for Zhao Qi to have calculated the coordinates of the Prosperous Dao True World. Once Zhao Qi reached that place, he would be in for a surprise.
However, this matter did cause Gu Changge to have other plans. He was originally planning to make use of the scheme left on Ah Man when he was free. But now, it seemed like he had to make a move in advance. After all, the Radiant Yang True World was leaving such a huge loophole for him to exploit.
“How can I not make good use of this opportunity?” Immediately after, Gu Changge slowly closed his eyes and called out to the mark he had left on Ah Man.
The Radiant Yang True World was limitlessly far from Gu Changge right now. But the mark that Gu Changge left was done with an method of inheritance, leaving it deep inside of Ah Man’s memories. So, as long as Ah Man’s memories were intact, the mark would be preserved forever. No matter what kind of abilities others might have, it was impossible to detect the presence of the mark.
Soon enough, an image floated in front of Gu Changge’s eyes.
It was a white-clothed young lady seated inside a green star filled with life. She had streaks of Immortal Energy that enveloped her.
Memories of this white-clothed young lady were flowing like water as they flashed past in front of Gu Changge’s eyes.
“To think the Radiant Yang True World’s Fortuity has declined by so much. This is outside my expectations. Compared to the Primary Hope Civilisation, the Radiant Yang True World’s Fortuity is far too thin. It is a pity that it is too far away from me.” Gu Changge shook his head gently with slight regret.
Inside the territory of the Universe Destroyer Residence, Ah Man was closing her eyes and cultivating inside the Heavenly Tide Star. She suddenly had a strange feeling in her heart, and she felt as though she could hear a familiar voice from far away.
“Ah Man…”
Someone was calling her name. The voice was gentle and familiar, it felt as though a fog deep inside her memories were gradually being dispersed. Everytime she entered a dream, the voice would be in her ears, allowing her to recall the wonderful memories she had on the Primeval Deity Continent.
“Is this another dream? Even if it is a dream, I want to see him once more. Even if it is a dream, I would like to thank him and bid him a proper goodbye. Senior…” Ah Man let out a gentle call and suddenly opened her eyes.
In front of her eyes was a verdant and ancient forest. The lonely night sky was filled with stars. A full Moon was suspended high up and as the night wind blew across, it let out a howling sound making the place especially empty and cold.
This was within the Primeval Tribe. The bonfire was bright and there were plenty of Tribesmen seated around the bonfire, enjoying large mouthfuls of liquor and meat.
Some of the Tribesmen started to dance and when their faces were illuminated by the bonfire, there were shades of black and bright red.
After the night she had parted with the Senior, Ah Man never imagined she would be able to see this scene again. She remembered she was drinking with the Tribesmen and was happily reminiscing about the past.
However, when she returned to her senses and wanted to search for the Senior, she realized he was long gone. It was the same as when he arrived, without a sound or trace. The only thing left behind was the white clothes he had worn, that still had his aura.
Ah Man watched this scene which was branded deep in her memories and was filled with all sorts of emotions and also deep regret.
“If I had looked for Senior earlier, would I have been able to say a proper goodbye? I could have even call him Master?”
“Long time no see, you didn’t disappoint me.” Suddenly, a voice could be heard and it stunned Ah Man.
She regained her senses and looked to the side, only to see a white-clothed figure standing rather near to her. That figure had a faint smile and was speaking to her.
Ah Man looked at the familiar figure. Those familiar eyes, facial features, expressions, and even mannerism. She could not help opening a small mouth and continued to be in a stunned state. It looked as though she was stiff as her eyes were slightly widened and could not believe what was happening.
“Mmm? Perhaps it has been too long that you have forgotten about me?” Gu Changge shook his head and spoke with a slight smile.
“Se… Senior… Ah Man… Ah Man will never forget about you, Senior.” Immediately after, Ah Man’s indifferent expression looked as though it was like melting snow. There was excitement and joy that could not be concealed. Her voice was also slightly shaking.
She did not know why she was able to see Gu Changge again in this dream-like scene. But for her to see him, the man that had provided her with great kindness, it was already a great blessing to her.
“It would be great if you didn’t forget me. If you forgot about me just like that, I might be a little heartbroken.” Gu Changge chuckled.
Ah Man quickly shook her head in response, “Impossible, I will never forget you, Senior. I will not forget you in my lifetime.”
Had it not been for Gu Changge’s appearance, helping her to neutralize the near-unbreakable and tragic future, she might still be in the endless cycle of reincarnation. It would have been a repeat of pain, vengeance, and despair. To her, Gu Changge was her greatest benefactor.
“You are almost at the Immortal King Realm. Seems like you haven’t slackened off during the few years since we’ve met.” Gu Changge laughed and looked at Ah Man, checking on her cultivation and seeing if she was being lazy.
Ah Man was rather confident of her current cultivation. But this was all due to the cultivation techniques and inheritance imparted to her by Gu Changge.
