Within Mystic Heaven City, all members of the Chu Family trembled at heart and could not help but prostrate themselves towards that direction.

“Ancestor Chu Bai is battling that Three-Legged Golden Crow. With his invincible divine might, he shall surely slay it.”

Many shouted loudly, expressing their deep hatred for the Golden Crow that had suddenly invaded their Chu Family’s territory and caused numerous casualties.

In the surrounding Star Territories, cultivators were watched the terrifying battle with hearts full of trembling fear and dread.

The Three-Legged Golden Crow had transformed into a Sun spanning across the sky. The Star Territories it passed through were left in ruins, with scenes of devastation everywhere.

Only the fortunate ones could escape this calamity. For them, this was an unprovoked disaster.

Who could have imagined that such a scene would unfold within the territory protected by the Land of Celestial Suffering?

“A mere Immortal King dares to obstruct me!? Today, I shall extinguish your Soul! After that, I shall kill all your Family members to accompany you!”

The battle was earth-shattering. Di Wen spread his wings and roared continuously, whilst spewing Heaven-encompassing flames from his mouth.

Each strand of flame was True Flames of the Sun, capable of burning down even World Principles, and evaporating fragments of the River of Time – demonstrating its terrifying power.

He was, after all, a Prince of the Golden Crow Clan, with terrifyingly formidable bloodline talents. Though his combat experience and techniques fell short of Chu Bai’s, they were sufficed to suppress him, causing him to cough blood and sustain injuries.

Between a Quasi-Immortal Emperor and an Immortal King, though only one realm separated them, their might was vastly different.

Had Chu Bai not been exceptional himself, a Peak Immortal King, he would have been reduced to ashes by a single breath of Di Wen’s True Flames of the Sun.

Any other would have had no chance of resistance.

[This Golden Crow’s strength surpasses even those Quasi-Immortal Emperors I’ve fought. He also possesses numerous Artifacts…] Chu Bai struggled tremendously to resist, realising he had been somewhat careless. His figure swiftly moved horizontally, dodging Di Wen’s strike, though he was still grazed by the aftershock, causing half his body to explode.

He coughed up blood, his complexion extremely grim, his injuries appearing particularly horrifying.

“Insect, with your capabilities, you dare obstruct me!? You truly know not the meaning of death!” Seeing this, Di Wen let out a disdainful cold laugh. Though somewhat surprised by Chu Bai’s abilities – that someone not yet a Quasi-Immortal Emperor could contend with him for so long – he paid it no heed.

He manifested a terrifying Golden Crow Dharma Body, causing even the River of Time to become turbulent, with fragments of the Great Dao flying about, intending to completely annihilate Chu Bai’s Soul.

    *Boom!!!*

Chu Bai was injured again, coughing blood. The various Artifacts he had up were instantly burned to ashes by the True Flames of the Sun. He could only passively resist, his injuries becoming increasingly severe.

His heart grew anxious and somewhat regretful – he had been too arrogant.

He had thought it merely an ordinary Three-Legged Golden Crow, but clearly, with such strength and abilities, this Golden Crow before him was far from simple.

Di Wen’s Dharma Body pressed down again. Chu Bai was sent flying once more, coughing blood, his injuries extremely severe, nearly exploding completely.

Despite his powerful vitality, he could no longer recover at this point.

Chu Bai’s heart grew anxious, but suddenly he heard a clear ringing, as if a bowstring vibrating. A powerful feeling of enlightenment appeared.

In the distance, from the depths of the already devastated Sunset Valley, a rainbow radiance suddenly flew towards him at extreme speed, seemingly transcending Spacetime.

“You dare…” Witnessing this, Di Wen’s eyes blazed with fire, becoming even more enraged, believing Chu Bai was deliberately delaying time whilst secretly using methods to steal what belonged to him.

    *Boom!!!*

Heaven and Earth shook violently as a clear River of Time manifested, flowing around Di Wen.

He directly transformed into his Human Form, his black robes fluttering, embroidered with the Great Sun Golden Crow, filled with fury. With one palm, he reached towards Chu Bai, intending to reclaim what was his.

However, the rainbow radiance seemed to have chosen its Master, easily bypassing his palm and rapidly descending towards Chu Bai.

“Divine Treasures choose their own Master!” Chu Bai was stunned momentarily, then reacted with immense joy.

This was clearly a case of the Divine Artifact having with own Will, actively choosing him as its Master.

Without hesitation, he reached out and caught the rainbow radiance, grasping the divine bow within.

“You court death! Release my treasure!!!” Seeing this, Di Wen’s anger blazed even higher, his killing intent soaring.

He had witnessed the rainbow radiance he had pursued for so long being seized by Chu Bai, transforming instantly from a Fusang Tree seedling into the form of a divine bow.

    How could he endure this!?

“Sun Shooting Bow.” But now that the Divine Artifact was in his possession, how could Chu Bai possibly relinquish it?

His eyes flashed with deep joy and affection as he examined the divine bow in his hands, its materials ancient and profound.

Wisps of grey mist, mixed with some black substance of unknown origin, permeated around the Sun Shooting Bow.

Yet this only made it appear more weathered and ancient, as if it had destroyed countless civilisations and universes – terrifyingly formidable.

He felt within himself a surge of tremendously powerful energy, enabling him to use this bow to destroy Heaven and Earth, slaying all enemies.

This Sun Shooting Bow seemed to have been tailor-made for him, responding as naturally as his own limbs without any obstruction.

“Haha, Heaven favours me! With the divine bow now in my hand, it shall aid me in slaying my enemies!” Chu Bai laughed heartily, drawing the bowstring. With a *whoosh*, a terrifying arrow light, like a rainbow piercing the Sun, condensed and howled forth, tearing through Heaven and Earth.

This arrow light was excessively terrifying, filling the entire sky, its boundless killing intent permeating the Spacetime of Heaven and Earth.

“That was my Fortuitous Encounter…!” Di Wen had already been consumed by rage, employing all his methods to slay Chu Bai.

However, the moment this arrow light approached, he experienced a Soul-freezing sensation of horror and fear, as if encountering a natural enemy.

This single arrow could obliterate his Soul and pierce through his Golden Crow body.

Before he could comprehend the origin of this terrifyingly powerful arrow, his previous anger had been completely replaced by fear. Disregarding the Fortuitous Encounter stolen by Chu Bai, he flapped his wings, attempting to flee for his life.

However, this arrow light covered the entire Heaven, its cold killing intent firmly locking onto him, giving him no opportunity to escape.

*Puff!!!* With a muffled sound, blood light flooded the cosmos, and countless black feathers wreathed in True Flames of the Sun fell like rain.

At the critical moment, Di Wen summoned up tremendous willpower to sever one of his wings, barely managing to block the arrow.

He could not comprehend how Chu Bai, whom he had been casually defeating moments ago, had suddenly gained the ability to threaten his very life after obtaining what was rightfully his.

Di Wen roared, filled with unwillingness, forcing himself to support his remaining half-body as he prepared to tear through the universe and escape.

“Feathered beast! Where do you think you’re going!?” However, Chu Bai was no benevolent Soul. With grievances established, how could he release the Tiger back to the mountain!? He would certainly eradicate the roots completely, leaving no future troubles!

With the Sun Shooting Bow in hand, an urge surged within him. He now believes this Treasure was comparable to the legendary Civilisation Supreme Treasure.
