Chen Changan let go, and the Vajra Demon Pestle shot for Soaring Immortal Mountain.

He did not care, for his senses were one with the Absolute Domain, feeling its every corner. The Absolute Domain would prevent any potential danger before it even arose. All he wanted to know was the connection between that item and the meatball.

Killing Wu Liang netted him 2.5 million Domain Points. His luck was with him; it also dropped a Deadbeat Chest.

Chen Changan raised an eyebrow. He knew the drop was based on luck alone.

“System, open the Deadbeat Chest.” He hoped it would give him a strong constitution. Foxy was in need of one, after all.

<Obtained 200,000 Domain Points and one revival card.>

Revival card description: it can revive any cultivator anywhere outside Absolute Domain on Nine Province Continent. Limited to one person, excluding Upper Realm immortals.

“Resurrection.” Chen Changan fiddled with the card.

This Deadbeat Chest did not get him anything impressive.

Absolute Domain v5.0 gave him the Wielding Life and Death trait. From what he understood, it gave him power over life and death. He was able to revive the dead. He found the revival card a redundancy to the v5.0 trait. Its value plunged, as did his expectations.

Its only real use was that it worked outside the Absolute Domain.

He stashed the card away with a shake of his head.

With his crushing aura, Wu Liang caused havoc and pain among the many cultivators in the Absolute Domain. Chen Changan’s mind flexed and used Creation.

A gentle rain fell softly, filled with vitality and healing all afflictions. Any cultivator that was under the spiritual rain felt his wounds closing. All the damage Wu Liang did was reversed in but a moment.

Everyone gaped at this absurd and welcomed development. They knew for sure Soaring Immortal Mountain’s Senior had something to do with it.

Somewhere else, Vajra Demon Pestle answered the meatball’s call, shooting in a prismatic light for Soaring Immortal Mountain.

Ling Bao’er was the first to react, waking from cultivation. “What incredible power. What is it?”

The golden meatball beneath Fig shone with a dazzling light, its cracks growing in number to the point of breaking.

With a sudden booming sound, the Vajra Demon Pestle was planted next to the golden meatball.

The meatball sucked up the majestic Buddhist hymns from it, growing ever stronger in power. The life force within also exploded in amplitude as Buddhist path hymns echoed on Soaring Immortal Mountain.

*Bang!* The meatball made a thumping sound. It grew louder and louder, and the meatball shot a column of Buddhist light into the heavens.

An eight-year-old child walked out. He was bald, wearing a golden kasaya, and had Buddhist scripts all over his face. His features were strikingly similar to Buddha Duo Bao Jian Qian.

As the child’s appearance filled the world with Buddhist hymns, ancient Buddhas took shape behind him. He had no recultivator immortal mark, which meant the child was not the reincarnation of Buddha Duo Bao.

However, the dreadful Buddhist hymns surrounding him did  not alleviate the situation. His power was on another level.

His eyes were devoid of emotion, and the Buddhist script on his face flickered golden. He stared at Ling Bao’er and Foxy.

Ling Bao’er felt threatened and shielded Foxy behind her. Gripping the air, chaos and power gathered to form the Sacred Immortal Sword. “Who are you?”

The bald kid held his hands in prayer and muttered, “A Mi Tuo Fo.”

He grasped the Vajra Demon Pestle that was placed next to him. It looked like a toy in his hand, despite the Buddhist item’s incredible power. What was more, Vajra Demon Pestle allowed him to wield it.

“Who are you?” Ling Bao’er asked again.

The bald kid looked funny with the large Vajra Demon Pestle in hand. The weapon transformed into a light and entered his body.

    He walked away.

“Young Master didn’t say you could leave,” Fig spoke.

The bald kid gazed at the sacred fig. His birth beneath it gave him a sense of familiarity.

He held his hands in prayer. “A Mi Tuo Fo. I know not of the young master you speak of, but, fellow Daoist, would you be willing to accompany me to Sumeru Immortal Domain?”

It was a surprise the kid could already talk.

“I can’t. This is my home.”

“Don’t you want to, fellow Daoist?”

“No.” Fig continued, “I don’t know who you are, but you can’t leave without Young Master’s explicit approval.”

“I know of the Young Master you speak of. I shall wait.” The bald kid nodded, his script-covered face unreadable.

He sat down cross-legged. Like a tiny black hole, he sucked up the Immortal Energy around without a care.

“Ya, yi, ya, yi!” Foxy found the kid intriguing.

Ling Bao’er stared at him but also sat down. The danger she sensed was too great for her to continue cultivating, so she waited for Chen Changan’s return.
