    POV: Violet

    “Ugh, it echoing a little…”

    “Are you okay, Lord Clo?”

Lord Clo had revived from his exhausted state and was sitting in my previous seat in the guest room, holding his head. Silva was conscious, but groaning, so he was laid on the sofa and Kriemhild was fanning him.

Gray was currently giving Apricot a bath.

“I’m okay, I was just hit by a curs– no, dark magic I’m not used to so I’m a little confused.”

Lord Clo looked at me and smiled reassuringly.

Since he mentioned dark magic, it must have been either Apricot, Orchid or Silva. I don’t know the reason, but I did hear that they were about to start a duel.

    “Hmm, I’ll explain from there.”

Then, for some reason, Kriemhild struck a pose and began explaining instead of Lord Clo. I don’t really understand it, but she must be imitating Apricot with that pose.

“You see, it all started with Cottie noticing Silva’s power and obeying Trishula to start dueling him in order to turn Angra Mainyu into Faust.”

    “I see.”

“Did you understand that, Miss Violet?”

She suddenly started with something hard to understand. My in-laws were confused, but the most important thing is to gather information. To be honest, I have no idea what she’s talking about, but nothing will get started if we don’t ask her.

“Then, before I knew it, Silva and Cottie got into a quarrel, so I asked Mary to call Mr. Clo, and by the time he arrived, there was something like a resonance phenomenon? arising from the ground and mana started rampaging.

    Resonance state? Rampaging mana?

I’m not familiar with either words, but as for the mana going out of control, I heard baseless rumors that Silva’s magic could go out of control when he first enrolled.

    “…”

Hmm, I feel like Lord Clo looked a little worried just now.

It was as if his expression was suggesting that what Kriemhild said wasn’t wrong, but she still wasn’t quite right… no, does Lord Clo know something…? Am I worrying too much?

“I don’t really understand what you mean by rampaging mana, but were there any injuries?”

“No, the only people caught up in it were Mr. Clo and the others who just happened to be nearby. Nobody was injured and Mr. Ivory said it was fine, so I thought we would at least wash away the dirt for now.”

“Weren’t Cyan and Orchid there too?”

“Yeah, they’re fine. They’re investigating the scene with Mary right now. Wait, Vi, are you calling Ms. Cyan by her first name now?”

“Yeah, she said it was okay to call her by her first name only on her birthday.”

On Cyan’s birthday, Father asked us to help with a surprise, and when I went to congratulate her after, she told me ‘okay, then, while we’re at it, drop the honorifics. If you want to celebrate my birthday, you have to grant this wish!’, and from then on I have been calling her by her name.

    “You’ve become closer, that’s great!”

“You’re one to talk, calling her casually like that before I knew it.”

“Ahaha, that’s a different matter. Oh yeah, let me continue.”

After clearing her throat, she made a turn and resumed her explanation. Kriemhild seems to be in high spirits today. Also, why did she even have to turn?

“That’s the reason why I came here to give the report while carrying everybody. I wanted Mr. Clo to stay in bed to be under observation, and I thought you should be present at scene, Vi. Um, that’s why I’m sorry, Mr. Clo’s Big Sister and Big Brother, for interrupting your lovely conversation.”

“No, it’s fine. It’s not something you need to worry about.”

“That’s true. You can’t do anything about incidents and accidents.”

Kriemhild apologized and Lord Gen and Lady Sumi answered kindly.

Perhaps her explanation was enough for them to understand her personality, so they spoke to her in a relaxed manner… her amazing communication skills are as good as ever and I long to be able to emulate them.

By the way, there’s one thing bothering me…

“Still, you’re quite strong. Clo is heavier than he looks, and with the other two added… I would think they were very heavy.”

Right, Kriemhild came all the way to the mansion with Lord Clo and Silva under her arms and Apricot on her back. I don’t know where the mana outburst happened, but it must have been extreme hard labor and difficult to do without much strength.

Wouldn’t the combined weight of everyone exceed 200 kg…?

Also, I’m jealous that she got to hold Lord Clo. I want to do it too… I wonder if I can at least carry him to the bed.

    “Yes, I’m really strong!”

As she said so, Kriemhild rolled up her arms and made the gesture of flexing her biceps. However, all she had were thin, pale arms and they didn’t look like they had any strength whatsoever. In addition, although Kriemhild has high athletic ability, it’s still only above average. No, Kriemhild’s growth potential is remarkable. She could have grown without me realizing it.

“Wait, the same as the Iron Lady route…?”

Lord Clo muttered something in a quiet voice nobody could hear, but I couldn’t make out what he said… For some reason, I feel like I have to ask, but at the same time it feels like something I shouldn’t hear.

“…Just kidding, I can use alchemy magic. I was able to bring them here using it as a tool.”

“Alchemy magic?… isn’t it that almost extinct rare magic?!”

    “Yes, it’s that alchemy magic.”

Kriemhild scratched her cheek, laughed as usual, and revealed her secret.

But if she created a tool to carry all those people, what would it even look like?

“Hm, I did hear that there was a girl who could use alchemy magic, but to think it was you… Oh, that reminds me, I have not introduced myself. You must have heard earlier too, but I’m Gen Heartfield. I’m Clo’s Older Brother, two years his senior. You can just call me Gen.”

“I’m Sumi Clover. I’m Clo’s Older Sister, one year older than him. You can just call me Big Sister Sumi.”

“Sumi, don’t tell me you want to be called Older Sister that much?”

Lord Clo tiringly asked Lady Sumi.

… I wonder if maybe I should call her Older Sister properly too. But it does take a lot of courage to call her directly like Kriemhild…

“Okay then, Mr. Gen, Big Sister Sumi!”

    “My goodness, she’s so obedient.”

“My name is Kriemhild! I’m friends with Vi, Mr. Clo and Gray! I’m a commoner so I’m sure I have some shortcomings, but I hope we will get along! I haven’t grown more than 3mm in the last 6 months, so I’m in the middle of creating a drug that will let me grow taller with alchemy magic!”

Kriemhild is as straightforward and dazzling as ever. She’s the only one who would call me a friend. No, I guess Mary does it too. But I feel like the type of friends they talk about are different…

Also, I think it’s best to avoid taking height-increasing drug because it seems dangerous. It’s definitely the kind that would have side effects… Hmm? The way she introduced herself just now feels strange. What could it be?

“I would love to talk to you about a lot of things, but right now…”

“Ah, scene investigation… I’m sorry, Lord Gen, Lady Sumi. We’re–-“

“Don’t worry, we will just relax here for a bit, so you can go.”

“Thank you very much. Kriemhild, can you lead the way?”

“No, that’s part of the problem too, but it’s about time side effects started to show.”

    “Side effects?”

While I was wondering what she could mean by ‘side effects’, Kriemhild found a suitable chair and moved closer.

“Earlier, I said that I brought Mr. Clo and the others with alchemy magic, right?”

    “Yeah, you did.”

“I used a drug that increases my strength temporarily.”

    “But?”

“I’m just borrowing power in advance. Goodnight, I’ll clean up the mess later.”

    “Wait, Kriemhild!?”

Leaving those words, Kriemhild sat down in a chair and went to sleep, as if she had completely burned out.

…I’ll carry her to the bed for now.

    Author’s note:

Iron Lady Route (Chapter 46 afterword + Extra)

A fun route in which the protagonist becomes so strong and invincible that it makes you think ‘wouldn’t everything be solved if we just have her (the protagonist)?’  and can only be unlocked after finishing the true route. She can slay dragons and evil gods with a single blow. She mass-produces philosopher’s stones as if they’re just an afterthought. She can probably easily destroy a country.

Her appearance doesn’t change, but her strength stats are way off, making her plain scary. The sight of her slaying a dragon with a burning land in the background made many people question whether this really was an otome game.

By the way, in this route, all love interests have been conquered.

Everyone’s thinking ‘I’ll follow you anywhere!”. It’s a reverse harem in a sense, but it’s still just a fun route in the end, so don’t worry about the small details.
