Purple Heaven Star, one of the three great forces of Star Field’s, Purple Star’s Home Star.

Yang Kai flew down and landed before walking towards the towering city gate. The gate was like the maw of a giant beast, as tall as the city wall and just as daunting. The cultivators who came to Purple Star City for the first time would definitely be affected by this, feeling so shocked and humbled by the imposing pressure of the city gates that they would not dare act presumptuously in Purple Star City.

 

There was a long line outside the gates with many cultivators waiting to enter the city.

 

Yang Kai didn’t want to be too conspicuous, so he obediently lined up at the back.

 

As time passed, people at the head of the line would pay a certain amount of Saint Crystals, receive a special permit, and walk into the city.

After the old man finished all this, he walked back to where he was sitting before as if nothing had happened and continued to meditate with his eyes closed.

 

“Many thanks, Deacon Min,” The gate guard bowed to the old man with a flattering smile on his face before turning around and putting on an imposing air as he shouted. “This man was a spy sent by an enemy force to infiltrate my Purple Star City but he was seen through by Deacon Min and killed on the spot to serve as a warning. Take this filth and throw him into a pit somewhere outside the city.”

 

With those words, two Purple Star cultivators came out and quickly carried away the withered corpse.

 

Everyone knew that this guy was sleep-talking with his eyes wide open, but none dared to refute him.

 

“It will be getting dark soon and there are still many who haven’t entered the city yet, but when the gates close at sunset, no one will be allowed in. Heh, as for what will happen outside at night, I’m afraid you all know…” After the gate guard finished speaking, he stopped paying attention to the crowd.

    This 10 Year Goal makes me feel like we’re going to get a time skip. It should happen after YK gets the 9 Star Emperor tokens.

    3. I’m sure that the time skip will happen.
      If I have to say YK is 57 years old and after the time skip he will be at 67 in the star boundary he’s nothing more than a baby, I think we can expect immense time skip’s for him grew his cultivation in the close future.

    5. I was wondering already if the author would include a lot of timeskips from now on because at some point Yang Kai’s cultivation with his low age would just be too astonishing. Alternatively he could just slow down the rate of his progression and we would get breakthroughs a lot less. Timeskips are probably a good idea to keep the timeline realistic.

      1. If you’ve read ahead with MTL, or looked on the wiki—which you absolutely should not do if you care about spoilers—then you can look at the comments and tell when someone is lying about the fact that they’re “guessing.”

        People who haven’t read ahead won’t be able to realize it, and people who don’t look all the way through the comments section won’t be able to notice, but one specific person in the last few chapters has been posting spoilers as “guesses” that correct other commenters.

        I personally am here because I appreciate the effort that the DDL crew has put into a high-quality manual translation. I don’t like seeing other people get spoiled. It’s not fun, or funny, and the person posting spoilers doesn’t look as smart as they think they are in their head.

        1. Hate to break it to ya. Chinese novels have a LOT of Troupes. Thus making them very predictable. For example, but not limited to. a bastard child of a branch clan that’s a complete waster at cultivation stumbles upon a lucky opportunity like a cave of an immortals or a divine artifact. Which in turn makes them suddenly superiors to all those in his own clan. But wait there’s more. By taking a females primordial yin his rank will immediately level up…. Or how about the generic enemy that robs the mc’s woman while hes low rank. Then he levels up and saves his girl while starting a huge conflict within some major sect…. The point i am making here is that by just using that as a compass those troupes will define 98% of all outcomes in the story. You can also use storyline hooks. For example pieces of a puzzle as a way to define where the story is heading as well. A perfect example of this is literally happening right now within the story with those emperor tokens. This telegraphs directly where the story is heading. My point here is that as much as you want to complain about people being spoilers. The story pretty much writes itself. These stories lack originality. They all are designed around historic Chinese cultural traditions because the writers are forced to write them in that format. You can watch any bruce lee film and see that same basic format played out in his movies. Similarly you’ll see the same thing in any other media that china produces. A person does not need to read the mtl of this to speculate on the future of the book.

          2. To be honest I think your discussion is rather pointless unless you talk about the specific comments/spoilers specifically. While it is true that a lot can be guessed and theorized it has also happend repeatedly that people posted spoilers without warning. Guesses without any reasoning being mentioned will have to be monitored and can only be identified as spoilers if there is statistical evidence that supports that.

    2. I feel guilty as I’m one of those who guesses, this junior is ashamed. But all The knowledge zi posses came from other sources and my head hurts reading MTL chapters so I don’t dare read them and I also dont look up at the wiki cause I regretted it when I was searching what does Yang Yan looked like. haha xD My guesses are usually just on point and it thanks all to the other comments I’ve read. And I do apologized if I unintentionally spoiled it or something. This junior also will retreat in seclusion for another year. hahaha xD

      1. I don’t think it is spoiling if you didn’t actually have confirmation from some source. As long as it’s just your theory (can include other peoples theories (unless it was a known spoiler)) it should be fine and that is what the chapter discussions is also there for.

        1. I’ll be sure to explain much more in the future as not to be suspected of spoiling stuff. And all the know-how I have are just before the Star boundary after that I’m blank as I have not read anything in particular to star boundary except the Realms they use their.

I still don’t get how it will be an easy task to get into the treasure room and steal a bunch of stuff even with inside information, you’d think there would be at least one Origin King standing guard, but I am willing to let myself be surprised by Yang Kai and Zi Dong.

    1. At this point, who would even be Yang Kai’s opponent, except for a bona fide third rank OK? They would need to activate the sect defence array to stop him. On that note, maybe we’ll see one of the ancient reclusive masters come out and contemptuously wave their third rank around, thus provoking Yang Kai into showing off some sweet Void Domain moves.

      1. Yeah, he is already the strongest master in the star field, if not on his own then with his helpers. However this is a super force we are talking about and it is their main star. If their Origin Kings are not here where else would they be? Maybe they have a Third Order Origin King Star Master there on top of that.

  18. They just changed the unreleased chapter page to forward you to their patreon in effort for more subs. If you wait like normal, you don’t have to pay. They have a backlog of chapters translated and they release them slowly so it incentivizes people who can’t wait to subscribe. It is what it is, they are doing this for free after all. And from the comments above, despite all the tropes that come with these stories, the person “guessing” in great detail what happens next most definitely wiki’d ahead, it was pretty blatant.

    1. The more I read about this guessing person the more I want to know who we are even talking about. There were some obvious spoilers but that couldn’t be it because why would there even be a debate then…

    2. Oh well this Scam will just scram far away as not to have this guesses anymore. FYI the onyl the I wiki’d is Yang Yan I was curious what she looked like before they released it in the manhua.
