Chapter 6053, He is Gone
by SilavinAuthor: Silavin
With a few hand signs, the Array around the round had changed. Its effective radius had stretched out to encompass the twins inside. However, the two remained unaffected by the Soul and Illusion Arrays, Little Eleven just wanted them to be inside to recall the little worm.
So, lighted symbols appeared beneath their feet, protecting them from the larger Array. In a way, this was also to shield them from being able to see what the little worm was experiencing, which Little Elven, the one operating the Array, had a clear view of.
For the little worm, trapped within the Illusion and Soul Arrays, there were scenes of her past. This was not as effective as a direct Soul Search, which would injure the other party since it required the invasion into their Knowledge Sea, but it would do. Little Eleven did not wish for her whole history. He merely wanted to prove if his conjecture was correct.
As for why Little Eleven did not want the twins to pry at this time, he believes that they should remain uninvolved in them.
The twins looked around and saw that they were now in the Array. Now, Yang Ji had a clear path to reach the little worm and recall her.
As Yang Ji moved towards the seemingly frozen little worm, floating in mid-air, he first ordered, “Come back.”
Upon receiving such an order, no reaction came. It was as though the little worm had not heard him – which was the case since she was still trapped under an Illusion.
That was when Little Eleven added, “Just take her back in your Dantian and lock her inside. Don’t let her out unless necessary.”
Though Little Eleven had not said much, not being able to recall her upon command, even if she was unable to hear it, meant that Yang Ji had little to no power over her. For example, Artifacts could be recalled upon command. They might be restricted but they would still respond in some way upon being called. This was due to their connection being through the Soul.
Since she could exit and enter Yang Ji’s Dantian at Will, Little Eleven naturally assumed that their connection was something similar. Now, he even doubted if Yang Ji could actually restrain her inside of his Dantian.
Yang Ji gave a nod and used Space Principles. The Space around her distorted and she disappeared in the distortion to appear back inside Yang Ji’s Dantian.
However, the moment she was moved out of the Array, she was free from its effect. She immediately noticed how she was back inside her ‘home’, and tried to rush out again.
Yang Ji quickly circulated the Qi in his Dantian to block off her escape, but it seemed to not work as the little worm easily left and continued to rush ahead.
Unfortunately for her, she got trapped in the Array again.
This time, Little Eleven directly talked to her, without the twins hearing in, “I’ve seen through your memories. As the guardian of these two, I cannot let someone as dangerous as you, who should have already crossed over, roam with them without assurance. Your body has been formed from them, yet you share almost no ties. You do not obey their orders and act as you Will. What is your purpose?”
The little worm just gave a cold scoff, refusing to answer.
Little Eleven’s eyes sharpened and he spoke to the twins, “Yang Ji, take her back in. This time, I will make sure she does not have the ability to escape.”
Yang Ji gave an obedient nod. Though he did not quite understand why his Uncle Eleven was being so harsh on this little worm, he believes he must have his reasons. He also believes Yang Xu would approve of it since she detested the little worm’s attitude.
Once again, Space around the little worm distorted and she disappeared. However this time, the moment she got sucked in, Little Eleven stuck out his palm and placed it on Yang Ji’s Dantian. Dark symbols immediately formed, all around his front, back and sides. All Yang Ji felt was a tickling sensation all around him, despite this seal being made from Black Ink Strength.
Once everything was done, Little Eleven waited for a few seconds before retracting the Array outside, returning the room to normal.
However, unbeknownst to him, the little worm was smirking while in Yang Ji’s Dantian…
Watching as Little Eleven stared at his abdomen for a few seconds before waving his hand, Yang Ji asked, the most pressing question in his mind. “Uncle Eleven, how?”
Little Eleven gave a heavy sigh, and he turned towards the twins, showing a forlorn look. “Mo let me take over.”
This was the easiest way for him to express it. He did not wish to say that Mo wanted his consciousness wiped off, choosing a release from life.
Little Eleven’s trip here was to assimilate with Mo, and get his powers back. Though assimilation meant that they would be one, it did not mean that the other would stop existing. They would be a part of him, like before. However, this fragment of Mo seeked termination. Worse of all he was actually holding back the other two fragments.
Essentially, Little Eleven should not have needed to bring the twins in. In fact, the past times, when Mo was avoiding him, it seemed to have been on purpose. As for why, the answer lies in the twins. Or more specifically, the twins and that little worm.
As for the mastermind behind this, it was none other than Yang Kai. Other than him, who could have coordinated with Mo till this degree? Other than him, how would everything have flowed so smoothly?
Regardless, Little Eleven believes the objective of their Father had been accomplished with the birth of that little worm.
After all, once he took over, the other two fragments of Mos would definitely not be able to make any real waves – with him having mastered different Daos while he was living as a Human. So, as a fighting force, the twins were essentially not necessary. He believes he alone could hold the fort.
As for Yang Kai, that manipulative bastard, Little Eleven swore he was going to get even with him!
However, right now, his task was to explain to the children, and placate them of this farce.
To move on from the topic of Mo, Little Eleven quickly looked at Yang Ji’s hand and sighed. He asked, “Are you able to regrow it back? Need my help?”
Yang Ji gave a confident nod, “I just need sometime. No need for you to trouble yourself Uncle Eleven.”
“Alright. In that case, I should send you two back home. Your mission has already been accomplished.” Little Eleven shook his head. He knew Yang Ji could regrow his limb after sometime, as this was part of his nature as a Phoenix. However, since the boy wanted to be independent, then he would abide by his wish.
However, Yang Ji seemed reluctant to leave. After all, though they have faced grave danger, this was the first time they had truly been on an adventure. They had even trained to resist Black Ink Strength, and learn how to fight here.
Little Eleven noticed the reluctance in his gaze and added, “I took you two here when you two were only at the Dao Source Realm. Honestly, with all the tools in your arsenal, you should be safe here. But, at your current Cultivation Realm, you would not be able to help out much at this time. Won’t it be better to come back once you reach the Open Heaven Realm, where you can use the Royal Lords here as your practice partners?”
Little Eleven tried to make a logical appeal, but Yang Ji was still reluctant.
That was when Yang Xu stepped in to try to convince him, “Brother, I do want to return home. We still need to heal up and I think Uncle Eleven is right. We are still too weak. Mo Na Ye has been dragged around by us through this whole period. He can’t keep babysitting us. He needs to protect the frontlines.”
“But…” Yang Ji wanted to refute, but at this point, it would truly be selfish of him. So, he just accepted the verdict with a sigh. “Okay, fine…”
Little Eleven gave a nod and his eyes immediately darted to one corner of the room. There was obvious annoyance in his voice as he spoke, “I’ve already helped you deal with this. Come out and bring them back.”
Upon those words, the space which Little Eleven was staring at started to distort. From it came two familiar figures, a man and a woman.
The woman had a cold aura to her, as though everything in the world could be frozen by her sight. However, upon seeing the two children, there was immense warmth in her eyes. She was like an ethereal fairy, as though nothing in this world could smudge her.
As for the man, he had a heroic aura to him. He had a dashing look, but one would not say that he was extremely handsome. He also had a smile on his face that irked Little Eleven to no end…
