Chapter 6069, Announcement To The World
by SilavinAuthor: Silavin
Yu Ru Meng’s voice seemed to have resonated throughout the world. It was not just High Heaven Star City, the whole of Star Boundary seemed to have heard this news.
This was naturally not because she had used her powers to spread the news. Rather, it was because the Wives had already prepared for this news to propagate the instant it had been announced.
Such preparation was by no means easy. They had dispatched High Heaven Disciples to spread the news to the 36 Cave Heavens and 72 Paradises first. After all, High Heaven Palace taking in so many seedlings would be crossing the line, no matter how one looked at it. So, arrangements had to be made prior, to ensure they do not step on anyone else’s toes.
Naturally, the Wives did not just want the children from the Cave Heavens and Paradises. They wanted those from normal Families, with potential as well. For this, they employed the help of the Great Emperors:
Duan Hong Chen, the Bustling World Great Emperor;
Zhan Wu Hen, the Iron Blood Great Emperor;
Gu Qing Feng, the Wondrous Pill Great Emperor;
Mo Huang, the Martial Beast Great Emperor;
Hua Ling Long, the Flower Shadow Great Emperor;
And Li Wu Yi, the Space Traveller Great Emperor.
When each Great Emperor had been approached and requested to help, they each gave different responses.
For example, Duan Hong Chen found it interesting and was eager to start travelling the world to announce the news. Though, it was unknown if he had been eager because he wanted to use this opportunity to tease his Disciple, Wen Zi Shan. After all, who would not want to quickly have a Godson to pamper? As for Gao Xue Ting, Wen Zi Shan’s Disciple and Wife, her reaction to the news was certainly interesting.
It could be said that on that night, their marital bed was noisier than usual.
In contrast, Zhan Wu Hen and Mo Huang were much more muted in their response. However, seeing how this would strengthen and improve Star Boundary as a whole, they supported it. However, Mo Huang stressed that the Academy needed to have Beast Taming as a part of the curriculum and Zhan Wu Hen stressed that Body Tempering. Naturally, to this, the Wives agreed, since they would much prefer all Children to be exposed to many different Daos while they were still young.
Gu Qing Feng and Hua Ling Long were helpful, since the former was Xia Ning Chang’s Master and the latter was someone Yu Ru Meng understood very well. After all, Yu Ru Meng had once disguised herself as the Flower Shadow Great Emperor’s Disciple. So, naturally, Yu Ru Meng knew how to ‘push and pull’.
Still, Hua Ling Long did not refuse as she personally found this project to be interesting. If she could pick out a few budding flowers from the batch, she found it all the more worthwhile.
As for Gu Qing Feng, seeing how this was one of the rare requests that Xia Ning Chang had come up with, he gave it his all to fulfill it. Such was a Master’s adoration for his Disciple.
Then there was Li Wu Yi, the Space Traveller Great Emperor. Thanks to the expansion of the bottleneck of Starboundary, Li Wu Yi had finally become a Great Emperor. After all, he used to be the foremost Pseudo-Great Emperor, behind Yang Kai. So, such a station was only natural.
This title, ‘Space Traveller’ was given by the Star Boundary’s Will. When Jiu Feng, a woman who had Phoenix Bloodline, heard of this title, she immediately thought back on how he would try to peek and escape. Naturally, she could not help but tease him to no end.
Still, how he got the title was for Star Boundary’s Will to decide, whether it was through such constant activity remains a mystery.
Regarding Li Wu Yi, technically, the Wives did not approach him first. Rather, it was Mo Huang who approached him and told him about it.
Typically, Li Wu Yi would be uninterested in such events. After all, he had no children of his own, and the only little one he had taken care of was Mo Xiao Qi, who was way older than sixteen. However, he had already reached the Eighth-Order Open Heaven Realm. Though he had taught the Dao of Space to others in High Heaven Palace, he had not officially taken in a Disciple.
Why not just take in any Disciples from High Heaven Palace?
Most children in High Heaven Palace were affiliated with the Sect from birth. Their parents were from High Heaven Palace, and the children as well. Their understanding in the Dao of Space had been influenced by Yang Kai, since their parents had most likely been raised in one of the Sealed Worlds or his own Small Universe. Normally, this would be fine, but as his own personal Disciple, Li Wu Yi would like to pass down his mantle in its entirety, with him building up their foundation.
As for those that entered from the outside, they would typically be a little older, above twelve years old. For Li Wu Yi, this was a little too old. He much prefers to see children around three, to raise them with his Dao of Space.
As for why he does not take in people into his Small Universe, to raise them, he did not see his Small Universe as being perfect enough. Though Small Universes could hold living beings, that did not mean it was suitable to raise people inside of it. The lack of Daos inside would hinder one’s progress. Besides, what could beat Star Boundary’s environment? Raising others inside when there was Star Boundary would be starving them of true opportunities. Such actions go against his own principles.
Thus, Li Wu Yi saw this as a major opportunity. Because High Heaven Academy was going to be different from High Heaven Sect. Certainly the two were still affiliated, but they were entirely different entities otherwise.
A student need not be inside of High Heaven Palace when they joined High Heaven Academy. Anyone could join. It would be open to all, regardless of one’s talents. Furthermore, one’s background did not matter to the academy. In short, they could be affiliated with a Cave Heaven, and still be allowed to join the academy. After graduation, these students would then be sent back to the Cave Heaven, to further their education and cultivation.
In fact, other Sects or individual experts, could come to the academy and choose who they would like to take under them, and if the children were willing, they could immediately leave the academy.
Furthermore, High Heaven Academy was made not just for cultivators, but they wanted to also have Mortals in mind. After all, there was still a subset of people who could not cultivate but they could do something more in their life.
However, it should be stressed that one’s background was to be kept secret in the academy. After all, this was a place for children, and not for politics. An even playing field should be kept, and one’s background should not be used to suppress another.
Such was the idea of the Wives, to allow their own children to get a sense of how they were placed in society, without the status of High Heaven Palace’s Princes and Princesses, attached to their names.
For Li Wu Yi, who was admittedly being overly picky, saw this as a great opportunity and for once, promoted himself as a teacher to the academy.
…
Therefore, once Yu Ru Meng made the loud announcement, which could be heard throughout all of High Heaven Star City, Star Boundary itself reacted to her.
Up above the skies, words began to form. After all, this was an announcement to the whole of Star Boundary from six Great Emperors!
Even for cities other than High Heaven Star City, from this day onwards, all would know that High Heaven Academy was being established, and that everyone within that age bracket could join.
Naturally, this caused a huge stir. Even Yang Kai did not expect that his Wives would create such a huge commotion, and that other Great Emperors had also agreed to announce this.
This meant that the whole of High Heaven Palace had agreed to this proposal.
In fact, more than what Yu Ru Meng had announced, the details on how it would run was stated there for all to see and scrutinise. Mortals and cultivators would intermingle in the academy, Secret Realm would be built to house the academy, and the Secret Realm would be connected to all cities around Star Boundary. Even the curriculums and holidays had been listed, along with the major events each year.
It had such a long list of things that it would have been hard for anyone to remember everything. Yet, thanks to the Great Emperors using Star Boundary’s Will, anyone who saw this news up in the sky would remember the details clearly, no matter if they had the memory of a goldfish.
This was naturally not for cultivators, since cultivators had excellent memories, but for Mortals, since one of the express purposes of High Heaven Academy was to introduce Mortal students, and some parents were not literate, so making them understand was necessary.
Also, with this, all questions in the hearts of the surrounding people were all answered, and they need not bother Yu Ru Meng and Shan Qing Luo with questions. Furthermore, the Wives need to really tell Yang Kai much, since he had already figured out what his next task was.
[It’ll open in a month? Do we even have a Secret Realm ready to take so many people in?] Yang Kai naturally took everything in and looked at his Wives.
Of course, Shan Qing Luo and Yu Ru Meng just smiled knowingly.
[So, I’ll have to build the Secret Realm… within a month at that…] Yang Kai sighed. However, in his heart, he still felt a little relieved. After all, with this, it should help calm everyone down.
