Li Wu Yi took the boys to the male building, and Xu Yi took the girls to the female building.

As expected, the size of each room differed based on the floor. For the first floor, it was a normal single room but with a small area for the person’s amenities. Those rooms on the second floor had even more space, two rooms worth. One room functioned as a living room, and the other, the bedroom.

It was naturally a wonder for those children when they saw these two rooms. After all, even if they were of a wealthy background, it was rare to have a room with so many Arrays in place. So many in fact, that their jade token was written with instructions…

Still, Li Wu Yi and Xu Yi went through how each room on each floor would look like, despite no one living on the third floor. After all, they wanted the children to see the goal they should strive towards.

On the first floor, there were ten rooms, five rooms on the second floor, three rooms on the third floor, and only one room on the fourth floor. It was fortunate that the class only had twenty students, with a balanced number of girls and boys, and that they did not need to compete for rooms on the second floor. It was unlike other classes, where they might be holding a small competition for the rooms on the second floor right now.

Both teachers stressed how the key difference between the rooms was not the amount of space allocated, but rather the Arrays inside. For example, the basic Spirit Gathering Array was more potent the higher the floor, with Grades reaching up to the Origin Returning Realm for rooms on the third floor. However, most importantly was the Insight Array, which one could use to study the depths of that specific Dao within their room.

It had to be said that these Insight Arrays were all made by Yang Kai, using the Space-Time River. Each student could pursue deeper insight into their Dao when within this Array. There were 3,000 Daos within each Insight Array, but the Arrays were limited based on the floor and the compound. It was the separation of beginner, intermediate and advanced knowledge, not allowing the children to dive into too many different Daos, limiting their study to just one. After all, for each Dao, one could not rush and had to take things step by step.

Contents that were too difficult might lead one to missing the fundamentals and straying away from the Dao itself. At worst, it might develop into a Heart Demon, at best, the student needed to be corrected by a teacher.

However, it had to be noted that for each class, the Insight Array’s contents might be different. It depended on the teacher. Yang Kai had allowed the teachers to set their own insights into the Insight Array. After all, though his insights might be deep, he was at the end of the day not the one teaching the students. It would be best for the teachers to come up with the contents themselves, and teach according to what they felt right. In a way, this could be said to be a tailor made education system.

For Time Space Class 1, Li Wu Yi had imparted his insights while Xu Yi avoided doing so. After all, from Xu Yi’s point of view, he learnt everything from his Master, Yang Kai. In short, he believes the insights Yang Kai had to the Dao of Time was much more profound than his, so he would not overstep his Master’s teachings. Likewise, Li Wu Yi wished for a Disciple, and wanted them to learn from him starting at the very basics.

Naturally, that also meant that Li Wu Yi was actually focused on selecting his Disciple from those on floor one.

As the teachers and the students moved floor by floor, they eventually got to the fourth floor. It could be said that their class was probably the only one that had students on the fourth floor.

As expected, since there was only one room on the fourth floor, that means the whole space, no, the whole floor, had been made into their room. If one were at awe with the luxury of the third floor, the luxury of the fourth floor would have made their eyes green with envy.

This space, equivalent to ten room’s worth, had its own cultivation room, bath spring, sparring room, study room, gravity room, and more…

It was better than any house. One could basically live inside and never come out.

“This is all for one person!?” One of the students muttered, envious.

“Argh! The difference is too much!” One of those living on the first floor could not help but get angry.

Li Wu Yi and Xu Yi, would agree with the students. After all, the fourth floor was made truly different from the other floors. Typically, showing this floor was to make the students shrive for the fourth floor. But in this case, the other students knew Yang Ji and Yang Xu had them beat, so it was not even a competition for them. This was just showing them something unattainable, while stroking their desires.

However, there was a reason why the teachers wanted to show them this room. After all, the Arrays here were made far more potent than what could be experienced on the third floor.

The teachers lead their own groups into the cultivation room. There, they had three students on the platform and they activated the Spirit Gathering Array at its lowest setting. Immediately, despite the three students being prepared, they felt a rush of World Energy entering them. After a minute, their faces could be seen to turn red, and beads of sweat were rolling down. After just two minutes, the teacher quickly shut off the Array, but its effects were clear for all to see.

Without explaining much, they moved onto the bath spring. Here, without needing them to even step into the bath, the teachers had handpicked the strongest of the groups (excluding the Twins). The teachers had them place one hand into the pool and start cultivating.

The moment the students placed their arm in, they felt a biting sensation. However, that biting sensation got stronger, and soon it felt like their whole arm started to burn…

From the girl’s side, the girl immediately pulled her hand back in shock. That arm was unable to stop trembling.

However, from the guy’s side, the boy named Lei Ao, was trying to preserve through. He knew what Li Wu Yi was trying to tell them by having such a demonstration. However, he was unwilling to accept it. He, a prodigy from his Sect, praised and envied by all, was now being said that he was nothing but second rate compared to those Twins. How could he possibly accept it!?

Li Wu Yi sighed, “The young need to experience reality to learn. If you wish to continue, then go ahead.”

Even medicine, when too potent, becomes poison. This was a live example of this for everyone here to watch. Yet, despite the dangers, Li Wu Yi was not joking. He truly would not make a move to save this young man.

“Arghhh!!!” Soon, Lei Ao could visibly see his arm start to enlarge, with hideous bumps on it. The pain at this point had spread not only to his shoulder, but to his whole body. His eyes turned bloodshot as he stared at Yang Ji. [I don’t believe we are that different! I don’t believe it!]

However, at some point, Yang Ji sighed and he snapped his fingers. He did so before Lei Ao had blood pouring out of his orifices.

Lei Ao was immediately teleported away, next to Yang Ji, who was already prepared to support him.

Li Wu Yi, who seemed unbothered by this, addressed the others. “I believe all of you are aware that too much of a good thing can be poison, right? Do understand that despite this room seeming to be unnecessarily luxurious, it is actually too dangerous for all of you to use  it. This is just what it means to be on the fourth floor. This is why we have different classifications. If you like to improve your living conditions, you only need to do one thing: train hard. That’s it.”

Li Wu Yi added while lifting Lei Ao using his Divine Sense, “All of you, go to your rooms to rest for the day. I’ll need to send this kid to the infirmary to get treated. Your parents might also visit you later.”

The boys, upon seeing how Lei Ao had ended up, gulped and gave a nod before quickly shuffling to their rooms downstairs. At this point, they held no desire for the fourth floor. Their own rooms seem pretty good.

Yang Ji, who sighed this time, asked, “Uncle Li Wu Yi, why didn’t you save him?”

Li Wu Yi just chuckled, “Oh? You really don’t know, or are you just asking to clarify your guess? Your Sister would have figured it out by now.”

Yang Ji had a guess as to why. His Uncle was trying to make Yang Ji appear in a positive light in front of the other children, since they seem to be frightened of him and Yang Xu. “But, that was too dangerous. He could have gotten seriously injured.”

Li Wu Yi knocked Yang Ji’s head, “You think I didn’t notice you trying to save him? I would have made a move if you didn’t do anything. For now, just stay in your room and abide by the rules set by your Father and Mothers. You are not allowed to go to the female building, understand?”

“Yeah yeah yeah. Quickly go and get him treated.” Yang Ji rolled his eyes at the nagging and started pushing Li Wu Yi out.

“You! *Haaa…*” Seeing how this ungrateful rascal was throwing him out, Li Wu Yi sighed and moved, flying away with Lei Ao in tow.

Yang Ji quickly closed the door and locked it. Then, before he could say anything, the Heavenly Demon Queen came out. “Your side has been delayed by a single whelp. Your Sister has grown weary of waiting. Come, let us begin.”

“How should we start?” Yang Ji asked, and the Heavenly Demon Queen asked back, “Why resort to such crude methods as tearing Space apart and journeying through the Void? Does true refinement not lie in wielding dominion over Space itself, bending it to facilitate one’s transit? What are the distinctions between your capabilities and those of the World Tree? Pray tell, what fundamental differences preclude you from replicating its extraordinary feats?”

“Erm… I don’t know.” Yang Ji scratched his head and Yang Xu cut in, her voice resonating in their minds, “Just get to the point already!”

“Stay your haste, for enlightenment takes time. Take heed that your present methods rely most heavily upon the Void for your transits. I bid you turn your efforts toward the pure control of Space itself.” The Heavenly Demon Queen rolled her eyes. This was after all, something completely foreign to these two children.

“So, I am to just control Space, without moving through the Void…” Yang Ji seemed to have entered deep contemplation with those words. He then just sat down on the stop, cross-legged.

Even on the other side, Yang Xu felt something and sat down cross-legged as well.

In the meantime, the Heavenly Demon Queen smiled and took the opportunity to move out of the room, where even Arrays could not hinder her.
