Lu Fan was naturally unaware of these developments occurring behind him, failing to notice that yet another Player had appeared and was behind him.

He merely assumed that what happened behind him was between the tall man’s group and Hirata Jimei. As for how these three might tear each other apart, that was of no concern to Lu Fan.

At present, his thoughts were entirely focused upon his ninth Pet Dragon, the Blade Armour Dragon King.

Hirata Jimei had brought Lu Fan to the depths of Divine Fall Wilderness, though they remained some distance from their destination.

Since this area was already devoid of Human presence, there was no need for excessive discretion. Lu Fan directly summoned Ye Sha and proceeded at maximum speed towards the Blade Armour Dragon King’s location.

Soon, Lu Fan observed a tremendously vast mountain range appearing ahead.

This mountain reached straight to Heaven, its slopes already disappearing into the clouds, making it impossible for even Lu Fan to estimate its true height.

According to the Devouring Dragon King, she could sense that the Blade Armour Dragon King Egg lay at the summit of this mountain.

This location was situated in the deepest reaches of Divine Fall Wilderness. It would require Cherry Blossom Country at least five years to develop this place enough for exploration.

Therefore, everything here presented a scene untouched by Humans. The mountain peaks stood majestically, with various forests densely covering the landscape in a primitive fashion.

However, through his exceptionally keen Black Dragon Perception, Lu Fan could sense that this mountain was certainly not as simple as it appeared to be.

The mountain peak emanated a faint, ethereal radiance, though Lu Fan could not clearly discern what power lay within this illumination.

What could be confirmed was that this mountain peak very likely possessed some form of Mechanics.

Maps with Mechanics were neither numerous nor scarce.

Among the more famous examples was the Dark Corridor Map, which was located directly beneath another Map called Imperial Ruins, accessible through a tunnel.

Upon entry, any Player would be affected by its Map Mechanics, which operated such that every five minutes, all light within the Map would be completely dispelled. Even Fire Element or Light Element Mages using their Skills would not be able to illuminate the area.

Without light, the Monsters within the Dark Corridor would receive a substantial Attribute Enhancement, creating difficulties for Players.

Fortunately, this Effect only lasted for a minute.

To successfully hunt Monsters and Level Up in the Dark Corridor, one had to find ways to endure this minute of darkness.

That was the Map Mechanics of Dark Corridor. Generally speaking, Maps with Mechanics could be sensed by Players before entry.

This knowledge was in the elective portion of High School curriculums. Lu Fan had studied this subject, thus he was able to understand certain aspects and recognise the anomalies of this mountain peak.

Lu Fan had only observed for a moment when a Summoning Array suddenly appeared beside him. The Devouring Dragon King manifested in her mature woman form, her Dragon Wings gently beating as she too gazed towards the mountain peak.

“So, the place is in a Map with its own Mechanics. The Blade Armour Dragon King has indeed found herself a good location to set up her nest.” The Devouring Dragon King spoke with disdain, her tone hostile.

Clearly, her previous loss, which resulted in severe injuries and prolonged recovery in Dragon Fall Valley, had left her utterly hostile towards this Blade Armour Dragon King.

This visit, which was to assist Lu Fan in obtaining the Blade Armour Dragon King Egg, quite possibly represented her desire for revenge against the Blade Armour Dragon King.

If the Blade Armour Dragon King’s recovery had not progressed as swiftly as her own, she might seize this opportunity to directly devour her opponent.

Lu Fan glanced at her with resignation. “The contract between us grants you a ton of freedom, huh? To think you are allowed to emerge whenever you please.”

“Of course! How could I possibly sign a contract that restricts my freedom?” The Devouring Dragon King spoke as though this were obvious. “But, rest assured, I normally can’t be bothered to emerge. I am aware you have several attractive female mates. When you engage in intimate contact with them, I will not emerge to spoil your good fortune.”

“…” Lu Fan remained speechlessly silent for quite a while. “You seem to understand my situation quite well. Huh?”

“Well, I too have manifested a human body. I naturally possess considerable understanding of you Humans.” The Devouring Dragon King spoke with evident satisfaction, her gaze never departing from the mountain’s summit.

“I can sense that the Blade Armour Dragon King is up there. Let us quickly go. Since this location has its own Map Mechanics. Once we enter, you must first comprehend what the Mechanics is before we fly all the way up the mountain.”

“Of course.” Lu Fan nodded, then prepared to direct his mount Ye Sha to fly towards the mountain peak.

At this moment, however, the Devouring Dragon King spread her wings and flew directly to sit directly in front of Lu Fan, with her back to his front. She made her wings vanish while she languidly stretched, showing no indication of leaving from her spot.

Lu Fan found himself embracing her fragrant presence. He was immediately startled, and he instinctively asked. “What… what are you doing!?”

The Devouring Dragon King did not turn her head, calmly saying, “I’m just catching a ride. Don’t worry about me.”

Lu Fan immediately cursed inwardly. [Big Sister, you are sitting directly in front of me! You’re pressed so closely against me. How can I possibly ignore you?]

Though he was complaining internally, Lu Fan said nothing more.

After all, should she truly get angry, given Lu Fan’s current capabilities, he might not necessarily be able to subdue her.

Although Lu Fan’s had dramatically gotten a lot stronger, the Devouring Dragon King’s had also healed from her injuries to a substantial degree. Her current strength was incomparable to when he met her in Dragon Fall Valley.

[Fine, if you wish to sit here, so be it. Don’t complain then.]

Lu Fan simply ceased to concern himself with the matter. He reached around the Devouring Dragon King’s waist to grasp the Dragon Saddle, directing Ye Sha to soar through the sky towards the mountain peak.

Soon, Lu Fan had entered the vicinity of the mountain, and the Map information was updated to display this location as Heavenly Divine Peak.

Lu Fan was attempting to better understand this area through the Map information when Ye Sha suddenly exhibited unusual behaviour. His body rapidly descended through the air as though preparing to land.

Lu Fan had not issued any command to land. Given Ye Sha’s obedient personality, he would never act independently to set Lu Fan down without his orders. So, Lu Fan was confused.

When Ye Sha had already landed, simultaneously, a powerful force directly ejected Lu Fan from the Dragon Saddle, forcing him out of his Riding State.

After landing, Lu Fan was greatly astonished, sensing something amiss with this Map.

He attempted to return to the Dragon Saddle, only to discover he could not enter his Riding State regardless of how hard he tried.

“What is happening!?” Lu Fan was momentarily stunned.

“It should be the Map Mechanics.” The Devouring Dragon King spoke calmly while remaining mounted on Ye Sha. “It restricts flight. Seems like on this Map, you cannot Mount your Pet Dragons. Additionally, your Pet Dragons’ flight altitude will be restricted. But, you should be able to get on for combat purposes.”
