The morning after Christophe heard from Iyezu about the identity of ‘Kou’.

After working late into the night last night, Christophe overslept.

Normally, he would wake up on his own, but today he was awakened by a knock on the door.

“Christophe-sama, excuse me. Are you awake? … Christophe-sama?”

Christophe, awakened by the call of his name, responded with a light shake of his head.

“What’s wrong? Did something happen?”

“Iyezu wants to talk to you right away.”

“….I understand. Tell him I’ll be right there.”

Christophe replied and got off the bed after making sure that the entourage outside the door had moved away.

He looked around and squinted at the unusual scene.

Remembering that he was now in a room in the embassy of Amamiya Tower, he quickly changed into his normal clothes. Although Christophe himself was a prince, he had served in the military, so he was able to prepare his own personal belongings.

After quickly getting himself ready, he went to Iyezu.

Christophe didn’t know where Iyezu was, so he went to his office to ask Remezhov.

Yesterday, he was told where his office would be assigned. It was prepared including the furniture in advance.

After knocking, he called out to him.

“This is Christophe. I need to ask you a question, okay?”

“Christophe-sama? Please come in!”

After some panicked noises from inside, a reply came back.

He did not expect Christophe himself to come in out of the blue.

With a wry smile, he opened the door to find someone other than Remezhov inside.

It was Iyezu, whom he was about to look for.

“Oh. You’re here.”

“Yes. My errand included Count Remezhov, so I thought I would report to him as well.”

Iyezu’s expression included a hint of concern for Christophe’s mood. He thought Christophe might get offended for leaving him aside and reporting to Remezhov first.

“Never mind. It’s my fault for oversleeping. More importantly, are you done with your report?”

“No, I’m just about to start.”

“I see. Well, I’ll join you in listening to it.”

If it was the same report, there was going to end up being the same report, then there was no need to go through the trouble of listening twice.

Iyezu bowed to Christophe’s answer and then gave his report.

“Yes. You see, I have to inform you that ‘that man’ has made contact with me.”

“….What?”

Christophe immediately thought of who Iyezu was referring to.

It was yesterday, and there was no way he could have forgotten about it.

Remezhov, on the other hand, who had not participated in yesterday’s discussion, had a curious look on his face.

“You idiot! Why didn’t you come and report to me right away? We have to get ready right away…”

Forgetting that he was late because he overslept, Christophe looked slightly flustered.

Iyezu offered his hand to Christophe to calm him down.

“Please calm down. We will be having an audience after noon today.”

Hearing Iyezu’s answer, Christophe felt his entire body relax.

He chuckled inside, thinking that it was unusual for him to be so flustered.

“I see… Sorry about that.”

“No, no. I was also in a panic when I received the…”

“Was it an oracle? Did you receive one?”

Christophe was surprised, but Iyezu nodded.

“Yes, that was definitely an oracle. Well, it only said, ‘Work Together’ though.”

Iyezu chuckled as he recalled the time he panicked when he received the oracle.

Christophe returned a sympathetic glance to Iyezu.

“Um… What on earth is this all about?”

Remezhov, who had not heard Iyezu’s story yesterday, looked at them as if he did not understand the meaning of their actions.

Seeing Remezhov like this, Christophe with just a glance asked Iyezu to explain to Remezhov.

Seeing Remezhov’s face gradually turning blue as he listened to Iyezu’s explanation, Christophe let out a sigh as he thought about what was to come.

The place where Iyezu received the oracle was at a temple in the city.

The temple was of medium size. It was similar to the one within Summit Kingdom, and there were probably a number of temples of the same size if one travelled around the southern continent.

The difference, however, was not the size of the temple, but how it came to be built.

It was astonishing that someone named Kousuke, who was the administrator of the Tower at that time, was able to build it instantly using the power of the Tower. He alone was also able to summon not only one but the three Great Goddesses using only his own divine power.

Soon enough, the three Goddesses acknowledge Kousuke as a living god.

In a sense, this temple represents the power of Amamiya Tower itself.

Christophe and the others were trying to meet the person who manifested that power.

It was said that he was seen in Amamiya Tower when the town was first established, but now that the country of Razequa Amamiya had been established, there were almost no more stories of seeing that God.

The last they heard of him was after hearing about the calamity of Gates Kingdom, which tried to forcibly make demands of him.

Even though Christophe had met many Kings, this would be the first time for him to meet an actual God.

Nervously, he was about to open the door of the temple, but before he could do so, the door opened on their own.

Two women appeared from inside.

Christophe gulped when he saw one of them.

He could feel that Remezhov and Iyezu, who were standing next to him, were in a similar state.

They were the most beautiful women he had ever met.

The woman looked straight at Christophe and asked.

“Are you Christophe-sama from Summit Kingdom?”

“Uh, yeah…”

Christophe barely replied, and the woman smiled.

“Well, come this way, please. My Lord is waiting for you.”

With that, the woman quickly went to the back of the room.

Seeing this, Christophe’s fluttering heart instantly quieted down.

He realised that he was about to meet God, but he should not be in this state of mind.

“This way please.”

The other woman said and pointed to the back of the temple.

Christophe guessed that they were the priestesses of the temple, since they were both dressed in priestess garb.

“Do you work in this temple?”

“I beg your pardon. My name is Lirica. And that is…”

The woman who identified herself as Lirica indicated the woman walking ahead of the group,

“I am Sylvia-sama, Kousuke-sama’s priestess.”

“Wha, what…!”

Iyezu responded to Sylvia’s name.

Iyezu had heard rumours that the priestess of the living god was named Sylvia.

He paused and was about to do a priestly greeting when Sylvia stopped him with an annoyed look on her face.

“My Lord is waiting for you in the back, so you can do such formalities later.”

“Oh, oh, I see. Of course.”

Stopped by Sylvia, Iyezu nodded in agreement.

Sylvia, seeing this, walked toward the back of the house again.
