After staring for a while, Sun Yu somehow forced himself to close his eyes, took a deep breath, and circulate his Secret Art to calm his mood.
“Who isn’t a bit loose when they’re young? If you want one of them, as long as you say a few words to that Palace Master of yours, I’m sure he’d be more than happy to arrange things for you,” Yang Kai suddenly called out.
Sun Yu was startled and immediately became embarrassed, blushing again as he said, “Senior must be joking, I don’t have any such ideas.”
“Then what are you thinking about?” Yang Kai smiled teasingly from his perch atop a nearby jade bed.
Sun Yu thought about it carefully before replying, “Everything this Sun Yu has today is all thanks to Senior Yang’s blessing, I simply don’t have such skill. After obtaining the true Dragon Emperor’s inheritance, Yang Kai was able to use the enormous energy contained within his Golden Dragon tattoo to assume the form of a dragon.
This was still a type of True Qi transformation, but it was simply too real, essentially no different from a flesh and blood Monster Beast.
Since it was Yang Kai’s first time using such a method, he had initially made himself too large and could not immediately adapt, causing him to suffer a lot during the opening moments of his battle with Yan Zhi.
If Yang Kai were to use this method again, he would be able to perform much better than before.
After transforming into the giant Golden Dragon, both his strength and defence grew substantially.
If this hadn’t been so, Yang Kai estimated that if he wanted to defeat or kill a Saint, he would have to use his Devil Transformation.

Guessing that announcement will only happen after Su Yan picks up the Phoenix Nest inheritance and causes a similar phenomenon haha. I’m disappointed that this novel also talked down the Phoenix Empress position when it should be on par with the Dragon Emperor position. They’re dual cultivation partners, not cultivator and cauldron.
They didn’t tho. They talked down the phoenix empress sect position. Probably because they lack more of their inheritance, and have none who are truly on the lvl of the dragon emperor sect leader.
But to be fair, in most mythology dragons can be on all sorts of levels, most of them above that of a phoenix. While phoenixes are pretty much always on the same sort of level, which is more or less equal to the higher(though not the highest) tier dragons of mythology. But to put it bluntly, none are on the level of various world ending, and god-level dragons of mythology(chinese myths in particular put phoenixes just below the dragons). The same holds true for most fantasy and sci-fi/fantasy.
It wouldn’t make sense in terms of the dual cultivation technique. But it would make sense in terms of mythology. And besides, MC is clearly stronger(but that is mostly due to his demon god inheritance).
Actually, MC is the reason for Su Yan’s current achievements if you really give it a thought. She had high potential but that was only when compared to others of that ‘backward’ world. He is always getting good things for her, directly or indirectly. She would be WAY weaker than him, even cultivation-wise (she ‘should’ be weaker combat strength-wise). Also, they say that you need to experience these life-death battles to be ‘true’ expert, but all she does is sit in a place and cultivate like some flower protected in a greenhouse. So, her being equal to him would be too ridiculous, right? That would be VERY big plot-hole right there after everything the author said and showed.
Yeah it would be really strange if she was as strong as him. I mean hiv divine sense, that knowledge sea, experience, skills, physique…. But I guess that frozen marrow or whatever will make her just as strong as MC lol

I was thinking the same thing, once people find out the truth, they will definitely blame sun yu for deceiving them and things won’t go well. Yang Kai should’ve just told them the truth, cuz even if they did try to keep him there, he can easily defeat all of them and escape. Just tell them to wait until he brings Su Yan there
What to you expect from a hypocritical idiot? He always preaching like he is cherishing the others who shown goodwill to him but in reality MC is just using them and then discard.
