It was Azure Dragon’s Life Force. Right now, he was burning it, turning it into a great fortune, a gift to the universe.

 

“What is he doing!?” A dumbfounded voice echoed across the distant Celestial Realm, as the Nether Dragon Serpent, currently a guest there, narrowed his eyes to pinpricks.

 

He had already been shocked to learn the Demon Court housed an Azure Dragon, but this Azure Dragon had proved to be far more profound than he had imagined.

 

And now, he was self-destructing.

“What the…” Even the strongest among them stood in stunned silence.

It could not comprehend Azure Dragon’s actions, but its self-sacrifice was real.

 

And its reason was simply, “It could not bear to see all beings suffer.”

 

*Booooom…* Suddenly, a deafening roar thundered across the starry expanse.

 

And then, slowly but surely, the vast thunderclouds that filled the starry skies began to disperse, as if they had acknowledged something.

 

….

 

And in that same instant, in the deepest corners of the cosmos…

 

“What a move… What a brilliant move…” Booming laughter echoed across the starry voice, as the Heaven-Connecting Jianmu was left in astonishment.
