“Hegemon, huh…” murmuring softly, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes couldn’t help but flicker with anticipation.

The Realm of Hegemony was truly something worth looking forward to.

Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but wonder just how far would his combat strength soar once he stepped into the Realm of Hegemony.

With a slight smile tugging at his lips, Yu Zi Yu spread the sixteen wings extending from his back and shot toward the Western Sector.

Now that the Heaven-Connecting Divine Tree had fallen, the Myriad Races in the universe would usher in a new beginning.

And thus, the Demon Court, too, must step out of the Western Sector and contend among the races.

However, before that, Yu Zi Yu would have to achieve an even greater breakthrough.

At the very least, before other powerhouses managed the bear the Principles and stepped into the Realm of Hegemony, Yu Zi Yu had to seize the initiative.

After all, if one managed to take the lead at the very start, one could easily stay ahead at every step.

At present, at Seventh Order, Yu Zi Yu already had the lead in terms of physique.

However, he must not lag behind in all other aspects as well.

Time flowed slowly and silently, and in the blink of an eye, three years had elapsed.

During these three years, the Heaven-Shaking Battle of the Central Sector gradually faded from the spotlight, and the powerful figures of various races returned to their respective homes.

Yet, within these three years, several names had already echoed throughout the starry skies and among the Myriad Races.

The marvelous Dream Dragon of the Dragon Clan, the master of dimensional mysteries.

Ni Shang of the Phoenix Clan, hailed as the ‘Most Beautiful Woman in the Universe,’ whose every glance and smile could topple nations.

The mighty King of Gods, who could summon a sea of lightning with one swing of his staff.

And amidst these familiar names, a few unfamiliar ones rose to prominence, shaking the cosmos.

For instance, the Kun Peng Clan with unknown origin.

And the Sacred Son of the Buddha…

Each of them had revealed overwhelming strength in the Heaven-Shaking Battle of the Central Sector.

Every single one of them could be considered as a Tyrant of the stars.

However, amidst this brilliant assembly of the strong, a figure who emerged from a remote corner of the Western Sector stood out. It was so dazzling, he cast the magnificent prodigies of all other races into shadow.

The Chosen One of the Era, the Demon Emperor.

An existence that shouldn’t even exist within the starry skies.

Hailed as the ‘Number One Under the Heavens.’

He fought the Heaven-Connecting Divine Tree alone and nearly destroyed her.

And afterward, out of shared kinship as Divine Trees, he only took a single branch and leaf from the fallen Heaven-Connecting Divine Tree, writing a magnificent tale told through the ages.

This was the Supreme Lord of the Demon Court of the Western Sector, the Demon Emperor.

A genius so peerless and so commanding that he was hailed as the Chosen One of the Era.

And what was a Chosen One of the Era? They were geniuses whose names could resound through an era.

Each of them were unique in their own right, and nobody could replicate their amazing tale.

As for Yu Zi Yu being hailed as such, it was because he, in just a hundred years, had reached the Seventh Order in Physical Evolution.

Such a shocking, world-defying existence, what else could he be called but the Chosen One of the Era?

Even the mysterious Heavenly Oracle Clan acknowledged: ‘The Demon Emperor’s talent was the first of its kind in the Era. ‘

And just as Yu Zi Yy’s title of Demon Emperor resounded through the stars, the King of Gods, having just returned to the Realm of Gods with the Pantheon Lords, issued a decree, “Do not provoke the Angel Clan.”

“Why?” With a voice full of puzzlement, a God of the Pantheon of Light stepped forward to ask.

“The Angel Clan is an ally of the Demon Court. The Demon Emperor intends to protect them,” answer the King of Gods straightaway, heaving a sigh.

To be honest, at this point, he truly did not wish to provoke a monster like the Demon Emperor.

With just a flick of his finger, he could send a star hurtling, shattering the very fabric of the starry sky.

Such power was likely not much weaker than that of the Heaven-Connecting Divine Tree.

If such a monster came knocking at their gates, the Gods would have no choice but to awaken their ultimate legacy, the Spear of Fate.

However, the Spear of Fate had only just returned and was still being nurtured. If forced into awakening now, it could suffer irreparable damage.

And that was something the Gods could not afford.

So, after weighing his options, the King of Gods decided the wisest course for now was to endure.

And not just him. Undoubtedly, the other major races would also choose forbearance in the face of the Demon Emperor’s growing dominance.

    They had no choice.

The current Demon Emperor was far too powerful, and many races had already exhausted their Imperial Artifacts and suffered great losses during the recent upheavals.

To provoke the Demon Emperor now… would be sheer folly.

However, one thing was certain, no race would sit idly by while the Demon Emperor continued to grow stronger by the day.

As powerhouses, they could tolerate disparities in strength, but they would never accept one man reigning supreme across the starry sky.

With that in mind, the King of Gods’s lips curled into a rare, cold smirk, his expression biting-cold.

[You made me lose face before all the races… I’ll remember this.]

At the same time, it wasn’t just the Gods, even in territories beyond the universe, like the Chaotic Sea, several figures were discussing the ‘Demon Emperor.’

They were of the Kun Pengs, the ancient and terrifying creatures born in the Chaotic Sea.

Had the Heaven-Connecting Divine Tree not been of such great significance, they never would’ve emerged. However, even they hadn’t expected someone within the universe to reach such heights of power without relying on an Imperial Artifact.

“Seventh Order Physique, huh…” With a mutter, a cold-faced youth in resplendent robes radiating a chilling aura revealed a complicated expression.

    He hadn’t expected this.

In just a century since the Resurgence of Spiritual Energy, someone had already reached the Seventh Order in Physical Evolution.

It should be noted that the Kun Pengs were born in the Chaotic Sea, where they constantly battled the chaotic storms. Their bodies were terrifyingly strong.

And yet even with that he himself had only achieved the Fifth Order Physique.

Seventh Order? He was still worlds away…

*Haaaa…* A long sigh involuntarily escaped the young man’s lips, shaking his head in resignation.

[As expected, closed-door cultivation alone won’t cut it. I must go through real trials and crises. Otherwise, the gap between me and the Demon Emperor will likely widen further.]

Just then, as if recalling something, a shadowy figure rolling through the Chaotic Sea, vast enough to blot out the sky, suddenly asked in a rumbling voice, “The Demon Emperor… the Supreme Lord of the Demon Court… could he be connected to the Ancient Heavenly Court?”

“The Ancient Heavenly Court…?” mumbling in disbelief, the youth froze.

Suddenly, a rumor surfaced in his mind.

[It was said that during the Demon Emperor’s Tribulation, a projection of the Eastern Emperor Bell appeared to shield his Dao…]

“This guy… could he be carrying on the legacy of the Ancient Heavenly Court?”

With growing suspicion, the corner of the young man’s eyes twitched involuntarily.

And the reason for his reaction was that the Kun Peng Clan and the Ancient Heavenly Court were entangled in unspeakable karmic ties.

    Author’s Note:

Some readers seem to be confused about the distinction between “Late-Stage Tier-6” and “Tier-6 Orders.”

The Orders of Tier-6 refers to the evolution (refinement) of the physical body, whereas Early/Mid/Late-Stage Tier-6 refers to the cultivation of Spiritual Energy and the State of Mind..

The more terrifying the body, the more likely it is to successfully bear the Principles—acting as a vessel.

Meanwhile, Late-Stage Tier-6 must continue progressing toward the peak and eventually reach Half-Step Realm of Hegemony in order to truly bear Principles.

Cultivation is the threshold for bearing Principles, while one’s Order of physique affects the success rate of bearing them.

Ultimately, it is the fusion of cultivation and physique that determines a being’s true combat power.

Yu Zi Yu’s current body is so overwhelming that his combat strength has already reached the Realm of Hegemony… as for his cultivation level—it will be addressed later.
