This was the agenda of the great conference.

Lu Ye was seated beside Tang Yi Feng as he listened to the Commanders and Elders voice their opinions, after which Pang Zhen would make the decisions.

He discovered that everyone would only speak briefly, and decisions would be made quickly. This was how cultivators usually did things. Certainly, it had something to do with the fact that time was limited.

Since they had to launch an attack three days later, no time could be wasted at the great conference.

As Lu Ye listened to them, he had a better understanding of the operation this time.

Now, the cultivators of Jiu Zhou had a sufficient reserve of the specially refined insectoid blood. Although the Yuan Metal Force Field would still have some influence on the cultivators, it could no longer stop them from counterattacking.

The war against the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm was divided into three stages.

The first stage was that they would enter the insectoid passageways through the chasms and press on until they reached the portals, which were at the end of the insectoid passageways.

This stage wasn’t difficult. Even if they were only left with 60 per cent of their powers at the end of the insectoid passageways, they could gain a foothold in front of the portals as long as there were many of them and they could collaborate well.

Moreover, the people who took part in this stage were the most powerful Divine Ocean Realm Masters, so there wouldn’t be a lot of casualties. If they were lucky, none of them would die.

This stage would last around ten days. After all, there was a long distance between the chasms and the portals. They couldn’t reach their destinations in a short time.

Previously, it took Lu Ye an entire month to go back and forth between the chasm and the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm while hiding on the scarab’s back.

When they were done achieving their goal for the first stage, they had to get prepared for the second stage.

When the Vanguard members from all nine major continents arrived at the nine portals, that would be the moment these powerful cultivators stormed into the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm and occupied the nine portals.

Their only goal was to gain a foothold in front of the portals.

The Vanguard members alone couldn’t possibly destroy the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm. Even though they were powerful, there were only a small number of them. Therefore, their mission was to build the defence lines before the portals to fend off the insectoids’ counterattacks.

By then, the reinforcements could continuously stream into the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm.

They couldn’t determine how much time they would spend on this stage, but this stage was undoubtedly the most dangerous. Once the Vanguard members barged into the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm, they had to fight endlessly. They couldn’t retreat, for behind them were the portals through which the reinforcements would enter the Great Hidden Realm, nor could they run away since there were countless insectoids in that place.

They could only grit their teeth and fight on. Whether they would survive depended on their powers and luck.

When all the soldiers passed through the nine portals and stepped into the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm, they would enter the third stage. All nine armies would besiege the insectoids from all nine directions. That would be a life-and-death battle for them.

The plan was clear and simple as there was no trickery involved. After all, their opponents were unintelligent beings, so no tricks were needed. Also, limited by the environment, they couldn’t pull any tricks either.

What they relied on were their most powerful cultivators and a large number of other cultivators. They had the confidence to gain the victory.

“I’m sure all of you have seen and studied the video of the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm, so you have some understanding of what’s like inside that place. However, that’s not comparable to the experience of someone who has been there. Now in Bing Zhou, only one person has explored the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm before.” As Pang Zhen spoke, he turned to look at Lu Ye.

Other people shifted their attention to him as well.

“Lu Yi Ye, I’ve asked you to come here because you’ve entered the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm before, so I hope you’ll explain in detail about the video in the Image Stone.”

Tang Yi Feng had informed him about it while they were on their way here. Lu Ye rose to his feet and saluted them. “Greetings, Sirs and Madams. Since Deputy Coalition Leader Pang has given the order, I’ll surely oblige. I’m sorry for occupying a bit of your time.”

Just then, Tang Yi Feng fished out an Image Stone. Lu Ye took it and infused his Spiritual Power into it. In an instant, the video inside the Image Stone was presented to everyone.

Lu Ye studied the video and confirmed that it was the location where he had entered the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm for the first time. Then, he said, “Look, there’s no way to escape the Great Hidden Realm other than the portals, which means there’s a boundary. Every portal is located near the boundary. This will make it convenient for us to take action. As long as we can gain a foothold in front of the portals, we don’t have to worry about getting attacked from behind. We only have to deal with insectoids coming from above and the left and right sides as well as those in front of us…”

Although they had seen the video many times, they were still all ears when Lu Ye was explaining it. Some even started asking questions, and Lu Ye would answer every one of them.

The video in the Image Stone allowed them to have a clear picture of what was like in the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm. All of them were Ninth-Order Divine Ocean Realm Masters. Since they had seen the video, they could visualise the environment of the Hidden Realm in their minds.

It took Lu Ye an hour to finish explaining everything.

Pang Zhen said, “Are you willing to become a Vanguard member and pave the way for other soldiers?”

Tang Yi Feng had informed him about it as well, so Lu Ye immediately nodded. “Yes, I’m more than willing to do so.”

As a Fourth-Order Divine Ocean Realm Master, he could be considered fairly powerful. Furthermore, he had several trump cards and a more ample heritage than the average cultivators. He was fine with becoming part of the Vanguard.

Moreover, he wasn’t the only Vanguard member. By then, he would take action with other powerful cultivators from Bing Zhou, so it wasn’t so dangerous.

Tang Yi Feng also realised that, so he didn’t decide for Lu Ye. He only told him to consider it on his own. Although Lu Ye was young, he should take up the responsibilities as a Divine Ocean Realm Master. If he backed down from every difficult task, he wouldn’t achieve much in the future.

Throughout the history of Jiu Zhou, only cultivators who dared to rise to the challenges could go further than other people on their cultivation journeys.

“That’s great. You’ll be part of the Vanguard, then.” Pang Zhen nodded gratifiedly.

Lu Ye then said, “I have a proposal, though. Please listen to me and make a decision.”

All of them looked at him curiously. Pang Zhen said with a smile, “Tell us your proposal.”

“When I listened to the three stages of the operation, I felt how dangerous the initial phase of the second stage was. It’s not easy to gain a foothold and build the defence lines in front of the portals. When there are fluctuations of Spiritual Powers, countless insectoids will come to attack. I think that if we’re able to attract the insectoids’ attention at this point, it’ll lessen the pressure on the people in front of the portals.”

Pang Zhen nodded. “We’ve considered that question, but we don’t have a solution. Letting Golem Masters use their Golems is the best option, but unfortunately, the Way of Golem Making has gone downhill in Jiu Zhou. Golem Masters in the Divine Ocean Realm are rare, so they aren’t useful in this situation. As for asking Beastmasters to use their Spirit Beasts, it’s not a good idea either.”

Most importantly, Spirit Beasts were made of flesh. Once they appeared in the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm, they would be targeted by the insectoids. They couldn’t distract the insectoids.

Lu Ye asked, “What about making use of the insectoids?”

“What do you mean?” Pang Zhen arched his brows.

“I have a way to enslave the insectoids. Previously, I managed to successfully sneak into the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm by using this method. As such, I think that if I can enslave enough insectoids, I can make them bear some Explosive Fire Spirit Stones and enter the Insectoid Great Hidden Realm before the Vanguard members. They’ll scatter in different parts of the Hidden Realm. Once those Explosive Fire Spirit Stones are activated, many insectoids will be distracted. The Vanguard members can seize the chance and storm into the Hidden Realm. The time we can buy might not be long, but it can make a difference in that situation. It’ll also make it easier for the Vanguard members to build the defence lines.”

Pang Zhen was thrilled. “You can enslave insectoids? How many can you control?”

“I can control around 100 to 200 insectoids.” Lu Ye came up with a random figure. Theoretically, there wasn’t a limit, but when the plan was carried out, he couldn’t possibly enslave too many insectoids. They didn’t have enough time, and he couldn’t easily do that, considering the size of the insectoid passageway.

All of them were excited upon hearing that. Imagine having 100 to 200 insectoids which were bearing Explosive Fire Spirit Stones scattered in different parts of the Hidden Realm. Once the Explosive Fire Spirit Stones detonated, the situation would be chaotic as the fluctuations of Spiritual Powers would be a mess.

Insectoids were sensitive to the fluctuations of Spiritual Powers, so they would certainly be attracted. That way, the people in front of the portals would face less pressure.

Even if they could only buy one to two breaths of time, they could potentially avoid some casualties. It would be even more helpful if the insectoids would be held up for more than ten breaths of time.

    The idea seemed feasible.

“What do all of you think?” Pang Zhen swept a glance over them.

They were naturally fine with the idea. If it was feasible, they were more than happy to see it happen. They would encourage Lu Ye to do it instead of objecting to the idea.

They soon decided that Lu Ye’s proposal was accepted.

“It’s decided, then. I’ve discussed this with those from Thousand Demon Ridge. The Vanguard members from both sides will gather at the chasm between Surging Waves Lake Pass and Dark Moon Forest Pass. Please help spread the news. The Vanguard members will have to gather at the designated location in three days. It’s the first time the two sides in Bing Zhou are collaborating to carry out such a large-scale operation. It’s also a first in the history of Jiu Zhou. It’ll affect the reputation of the Grand Sky Coalition in Bing Zhou, so I hope everyone will take it seriously.”

After the great conference ended, Lu Ye and Tang Yi Feng stepped out of the Hall of Harmony. Tang Yi Feng said, “The war is about to start. If there’s anything you need to get prepared, do it quickly.”

Lu Ye shook his head. “I don’t have to prepare anything.” He had all sorts of resources, so he didn’t need to buy anything.

“Just go back to your Pass and wait, then. That way, it’ll be quicker for you to reach the chasm when it’s time to assemble.”

    “Yes.”

Lu Ye leapt into the air and flew towards Surging Waves Lake Pass.

The Vanguard members would have to gather at the chasm between Surging Waves Lake Pass and Dark Moon Forest Pass. It was a wonder if it was a coincidence or an intentional choice. However, to the two sides of Bing Zhou, Surging Waves Lake Pass and Dark Moon Forest Pass were the first Passes to join forces, so they were a representation of the collaboration between the two sides. It was understandable that they had chosen this place to assemble.
