*Boooom…Booooom…* Booming thunder roared across the planet, tearing through the skies like divine wrath.

However, what was even more terrifying than that was the eerie violet, creeping in from nowhere, as though intending to devour all of existence.

“Stop them!” A thunderous cry rang out, as one of the Troll Clan’s Shamans raised his bone-carved staff high into the air.

*Awooooo… Awooooo…* Two haunting howls pierced the storm-laced skies, as two massive wolves, each more than 10 meters tall, materialized out of nowhere and lunged toward the rift tearing through the sky.

These were Tier-6 Phantom Wolves, signature summons of the Troll Shamans.

However, they were not the only attacks unleashed.

One after another, towering columns began erupting from the earth, rising thousands of meters into the sky.

They were the Totem Poles, which were capable of calling down the sacred might of the totems to fend off enemies.

*Booooom…* With a deafening blast, one of the thunder-clad Totem Pole unleashed a lightning strike stretching across several kilometers, rending the sky itself.

Adding more to the dread, the other Totem Poles began to activate as well—unleashing waves of blazing fire, glacial frost, and elemental fury that blotted out the Heavens.

“Hmm… Quite interesting. These Totems might be worth collecting,” commenting briefly in amusement, Yu Zi Yu studied the Troll Clan’s Totem Poles for a moment.

[Sealing the energy into physical constructs, hone it over time, and summon it when needed. That’s quite an intriguing method, fascinating even.

    But ultimately… it was limited.

It can only be used for defense, never to elevate one’s life essence or strengthen one’s core foundation.

At the end of the day, cultivation is all about the self.

Divine Abilities, Imperial Artifacts, all these are merely tools for protecting one’s path.

Relying on external tools like these is quite a fatal mistake on the road to transcendence.]

And just as the Troll Shaman, one of the rare Tier-6 Trolls, summoned one totem after another and his mighty Phantom Wolves to resist the encroaching Void…

A voice echoed softly across the world, “So… this is what you rely on?”

It sounded like mockery. Or perhaps disdain.

Then suddenly, the darkened skies trembled.

A blinding pillar of violet light burst through the dense storm clouds, piercing the firmament like a sword.

And from the heart of that radiant beam… a silhouette slowly came into view of the countless Trolls.

    A girl, cold and composed.

Her eyes, sharp as blades, glinted with a merciless frost.

Her both hands rested upon a longsword, embedded in the sky, while the wind tousled her raven-black hair.

Dressed in a gothic-lolita gown of dark velvet, the girl slowly lifted her gaze.

*Shraaak…* A sliver of cold intent spilled from her pupils ripping the very sky.

“We are the Original Sins…the Knight…”

Just as those words echoed across the sky, she lifted the longsword high above her head.

    *Booooom…*

    Heaven split open.

Down came a beam of sword light, tens of thousands of meters long, cleaving across the sky like judgment made manifest.

    *Crack. Crack. Crack…*

Mountains shattered. Rivers split. The land itself was torn asunder.

That single sword strike carried the pure and terrifying Void Energy, and generated fearsome gales that annihilated everything in their path.

“No…” The Troll Shaman cried out in disbelief as he watched his prized Phantom Wolves shattered into nothing, without so much as a struggle.

However, that wasn’t the most terrifying part.

What truly froze the blood was that the violet sword beam had not yet stopped. It continued to descend, carving a path of destruction toward the horizon.

Even he, a Tier-6, could not stop trembling beneath its majesty.

[Terrifying… How utterly terrifying… It’s close to invincible. Perhaps this is what can be called a sword that could destroy the world…]

However, at this moment, what the trembling Tier-6 Shaman failed to notice was that the girl’s sword had not even been drawn.

That overwhelming power had come not from the sword itself, but from the scabbard—a shimmering violet sheath that completely concealed the sword’s edge.

That sheath was no ordinary object.

It was a Divine Artifact of the Void, Void Guardian, forged solely to protect the King of Knights.

This scabbard endlessly nourished the Divine Artifact it encased, Excalibur. And once that sword was drawn, its might would be truly devastating.

However, what made the sheath even more fearsome was the power of Fate imbued within it. With a single thought, it could summon forth an entire domain of Void becoming an impenetrable bastion that safeguarded its wielder.

According to Yu Zi Yu, Void Guardian was a defense so absolute that not even other Hegemons could break through it.

    A true, inviolable defense.

Of course… for mere Trolls like these, the King of Knights had no need to draw her sword, much less activate the scabbard’s full potential.

This was merely a practice run.

Their true battlefield lay beyond, among the Dragons, among the Phoenixes, among the most supreme races of the starry cosmos.

Meanwhile, deep in the ancient forests where the Forest Trolls dwelled, a strange violet mist had begun to rise.

No one knew when it had started, but it now crept through the undergrowth, permeating everything, drowning the forest in silence and dread.

And then came the horror, unspeakable and raw.

That violet mist was corroding the bodies of the Forest Trolls.

    “N-No… No!!”

Screams tore through the ancient woods as one of the Trolls, in full view of his companions, melted into a puddle of violet sludge.

    “This… this can’t be real…”

The Forest Trolls stumbled back in terror. Their eyes wide with panic. Even those of Tier-4 and Tier-5 Warriors felt their scalps go numb, watching the purple mist creeping toward them.

The purple mist was so corrosive that it turned flesh to a gooey puddle and bone to dust.

The terrifying corrosive nature of the Void was displayed to its fullest extent by this purple mist.

And in the midst of that suffocating silence, a playful, loli-like voice echoed from within the mist:

“Will you all come play with me?”

The tone was light, almost cheerful. Yet every word carried a bone-chilling malice.

Through the depths of the violet fog, the Trolls vaguely caught sight of a slender figure slowly walking forward.

With two pigtails, bouncing up and down, the dainty silhouette looked cute and adorable.

And yet… all their instincts screamed in terror.

Though her face was shrouded in mist, one thing was horrifyingly clear—she held a severed head in her hand.

It was the head of their leader, Gangji, the chieftain of the Forest Trolls.

*Drip… Drip…* Blood still trickled from the severed head, yet it was not dead. The Forest Trolls could see an expression of fear and dread on Gangji’s face.

    “Run… run… she’s a real demon…”

A weak and broken psychic thought trembled through the air, echoing in the minds of the Trolls.

Everyone’s face immediately froze, because every single one of them recognized that voice: It was Gangji’s.

He was a Tier-6 warrior, yet he had died… in the hands of a little girl, and that too silently.

*G-Gulp…* Swallowing hard, Trolls all across the forest turned pale with dread.

“Run!!” A sudden voice cut through the chaos.

And like a burst dam, the Trolls scattered in every direction, frantically fleeing deeper into the woods, desperate to escape the nightmare.

But as she watched them flee, the girl. The so-called ‘Toy’, codename of the Void Emperor, Formless in her loli form, merely pouted and tilted her head.

“Aww… none of you want to play with me?”

Her voice was filled with grievance and sadness.

But then, behind her, the endless violet mist surged upward, coalescing into a monstrous, nightmarish creature, tens of thousands of meters tall, casting a shadow so massive it swallowed the sky.

Its twisted form loomed over the forest like the wrath of an ancient god.

“Let’s take them back into the Void… they can play with us there.”

With a giggle, her words dropped like the hammer of Fate.

And the entire forest was drowned in blood.

Screams rose, only to be consumed, until there was nothing left but silence.
