“I sense… great misfortune.” Deep within Celestus, the Seer of the Heavenly Oracle Clan suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze fixed on the starry sky, filled with unease.

    “Why?” someone asked.

“Calamity. A true calamity… has arrived.”

As he spoke, a sea of fire surged within his pupils and in that blazing sea stood a giant, dominating and tyrannical, bellowing toward the sky as he crushed all before him.

He saw…he saw the true terror!

*Pffff…* A mouthful of blood spurted from his mouth, and his aura began to weaken at a pace visible to the naked eye.

“Quick! Go summon the Demon Emperor!”

    “What!?”

The other Elders of the Heavenly Oracle Clan cried out in shock, their expressions turning grim. They knew then that the situation had reached a catastrophic level.

Meanwhile, in another one of the palaces on Celestus…

    *Rooooaar…*

A world-shaking roar reverberated across the Heavens, as a Crimson Dragon, vast, dreamlike, indescribable, shot upward like a soaring comet.

It was none other than the Dragon Clan’s Matriarch, Dream Dragon, born in another dimension, the embodiment of dream itself.

Now, gazing upon the meteor firestorm devouring the distant sky, her eyes narrowed instantly.

*Rooooaar…* A gentle yet resonant roar echoed, accompanied by a powerful surge of a majestic yet mysterious power.

Then, visible to the naked eyes, the apocalyptic fireballs dimmed one after another, their existence blurring as though being erased.

The Power of Dream, everything could be turned into a dream, like dream bubbles that cannot be held.

In another corner of Celestus, serene Buddha light blossomed, blanketing the starry sky in a sacred radiance.

An old monk seated upon a lotus platform uttered,  “Amitabha!”

Just as he finished speaking, countless illusory phantoms of the Buddha Kingdom manifested around him.

“Kingdom of Buddha in the Palm.”

With that, he slammed his palm toward the approaching world-ending inferno.

Giant golden palms exploded into existence, striking in ceaseless succession.

    *Booom, boooom, boooom…*

This was the Kingdom of Buddha in the Palm, the ultimate Divine Ability of the Buddhist Sect. The power of this technique was legendary: a single palm contained a complete world and could crush a star into dust.

Now, tens of thousands of these cosmic palms, or ‘worlds made manifest,’ collided with the flaming meteors.

However, the meteor storm… was horrifying beyond imagination.

Especially that colossal fireball at the center; even the outermost layer’s temperature had reached tens of thousands of degrees. At its blazing core, the natural thermal shell surpassed 300,000 degrees,

and the swirling superheated, molten mass within it was suffocating to behold.

A n entire star had been refined into a weapon!?

    It was unbelievable, utterly unbelievable!

    However, that was the reality.

At the moment, the only thing the Demi-Buddha could do was act.

And his intervention was only the beginning.

“Hmph.” A single, cold snort seismically shook the Heavens. Across the black void, golden wings, vast enough to blot out a star, violently unfurled.

This was the peerless prodigy of the Kun Peng Clan, unleashing the Grand Divine Technique, the Kun Peng Art, without reserve. His monumental wings became twin blades that tore the stellar expanse, a sheer force of annihilation, as he drove his immense form directly into the heart of the incandescent meteor.

*Boooooom!* The resulting impact was an explosion that deafened the void. The blazing sphere, which had been obliterating everything in its path, momentarily shuddered to a halt.

However, before the shockwave faded, a wild, echoing laugh boomed from behind the flaming orb. “Hahahaha! So the universe still harbours powerhouses like you!”

As the words faded, a towering shadow, large enough to eclipse a star system, slowly began to emerge. The colossal figure made a single, deliberate movement: he clenched his fist.

*Boooooom…* A singular strike, carrying the weight of cosmic collapse, shot forth.

*Booooom, booooom, boooooom…* Hundreds of nascent planets and stellar debris were instantly pulverized in a catastrophic chain reaction that echoed across light-years. The devastating fist, however, did not slow; it continued its unrestrained trajectory, aimed squarely at the Kun Peng prodigy.

“Is… is this a Hegemon?” Pure shock flared in the youth’s eyes, instantly hardening into a fierce, battle-ready resolve.

“Kill!” he roared. With a mighty beat, his golden wings, now blades of pure destruction, drove his body forward. He did not retreat.

The Kun Peng Art was a Grand Divine Ability born only for slaughter—fearless of all, utterly, lethally unmatched.

*Boooooom…* A thunderous roar shook the firmament, and ripples spanning entire star systems spread outward.

Everything—planets, matter, space itself was reduced to dust wherever the ripples passed.

    Such was its terror.

Such was the might of a Kun Peng prodigy.

Even when he merely at Half-Step Hegemon Realm, he still possessed the strength to shake a Hegemon head-on.

Floating in the depths of the Void, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes narrowed in genuine admiration. “This Kun Peng youth… truly impressive.”

Though unleashed by a Half-Step Hegemon, the Kun Peng Art, the Grand Divine Ability forged purely for war, was beyond terrifying, shattering the heavens and ripping apart the starry expanse with boundless might.

However, just then, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze sharpened instantly.

Streaking across the distant void, another formidable figure appeared, clutching a crystal-like piece of jade.

This was the Heavenly Oracle Clan’s Imperial Artifact treasure: the Oracle Stone. Though a natural Divine Stone, generations of nurturing had grown it into the embryo of an Imperial Artifact, granting it the power to deduce, and now, to execute the unimaginable.

    And now…

“Oracle Stone, Engrave the Three Lives!”

A shout echoed across light-years as the lustrous jade projected an immense illusion into the sky. Within it appeared a scene: a small sapling rising from the earth, surrounded by Gods pouring Divine Energy into it.

Beside this scene, two more appeared, each depicting the World Tree during its early childhood.

“This Imperial Artifact…” Yu Zi Yu’s pupils constricted sharply, because he realized its terrifying purpose.

“He intends to kill the World Tree’s past, thus erasing its existence in the present,” Anzuiel, the Imperial Artifact Spirit, whispered, a rare tremor in his voice.

Such was the terror of the Oracle Stone: By destroying the past, it could erase the present.

Of course, such power came with limitations.

For example: If the Heavenly Oracle Clan wished to erase Yu Zi Yu’s True Body, they could not.

They did not know his past. Nor did they possess a meaningful relic connected to him.

But the World Tree was different.

As a sacred relic of the Gods, its entire history was known to the Gods, and they possessed symbolic relics of the World Tree such as its seed.

With that as the medium, and at the cost of the Oracle Stone’s millennium of slumber, they could deduce the past and slay the young World Tree.

*Hmph.* Yu Zi Yu’s cold snort was final. He could not allow this; the World Tree was his most powerful subordinate, a confirmed Hegemon-class combatant. Losing such a force was unacceptable.

Fixing his gaze on the luminous jade projecting the World Tree’s youth, Yu Zi Yu slowly opened his draconic jaws, a faint grin touching his lips.

*Rooooaar!* A deafening Dragon roar shook the foundations of reality as terrifying, focused power gathered at his throat.

He was preparing the Dragon Breath, the ultimate offensive ability of the Dragon Clan.

According to the legends, some Dragons could unleash Dragon Breaths that could rival Grand Divine Abilities.

Suddenly, a glint of amusement flashed in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes; he seemed to have noticed something.
