*Boooooom…* A sudden explosion tore through the Heavens, ripping apart layers of space and shattering dimensions, a beam of power piercing straight toward the starry sky.

A beam of light, a purple beam of light was ripping through fabrics of space.

Endless energy surged within it, and within its depths brewed a profound, abyssal violet intent.

From afar, it looked like a tidal wave of violet energy, in the shape of a True Dragon, lunging through space.

*Rooooaar…* A majestic yet deafening Dragon roar echoed across the world.

    At that moment…

    *Boooooom…*

The entire starry sky trembled violently.

A pressure no words could describe descended from above. An oppression so immense it made every hair stand on end, cold sweat rolling uncontrollably down countless backs.

The unimaginable pressure froze everything in an instant.

“W-What is that…?” The Seer, the Great Elder of the Heavenly Oracle Clan, the one wielding the Oracle Stone, stiffened, his expression abruptly frozen.

*Rooooaar…* The Dragon roar grew sharper, vibrating through every living Soul.

For a moment, the world seemed to be sealed. Even the Great Elder’s right hand holding the Oracle Stone stopped moving entirely.

    “Great Elder! Be careful!”

    “Great Elder!”

    Cries of alarm erupted everywhere.

Because now, all who looked toward the falling meteor inferno saw it clearly: A terrifying pillar of violet light was cutting through the meteor flames, piercing all barriers, erasing everything in its path.

And its target was the Seer.

“It is not that I refuse to move…I simply cannot.”

A trace of bitterness flashed in the Seer’s eyes.

He knew his end had arrived.

He didn’t know what this world-piercing light was.

He didn’t know where it came from.

However, he knew one thing: He could not escape.

The attack had already locked onto his Life Force.

Even the space around him was frozen solid.

To break free of such terrifying shackles was…Impossible, utterly impossible!

This was a force from an entirely different realm.

“If my guess is correct…this must be the Void Hegemon…”

He sighed softly, his gaze becoming calm, and accepting.

However, right then, as though recalling something, his aura surged violently. “You are the inheritance of my Clan. You must not perish!”

With those final words, the Seer ignited his entire existence, burning his Life Force down to the last spark.

In that final instant, he hurled the Oracle Stone toward the distant starry sky.

*Boooooom…* The jade-like crystalline stone shot out like a meteor, too fast for anyone to react.

    And in the next heartbeat…

*Boooooom…* The endless violet torrent engulfed the Half-Step Hegemon Seer completely, along with the  entire stretch of space behind him.

    “Great Elder!!!”

    “No… No… Nooooooo!!”

    “Save him!”

Agonized cries erupted across the Heavenly Oracle Clan.

Even those watching from afar, experts whose names shook the Heavens, felt their pupils constrict to needle points.

One strike, all it took was just one strike to erase a Half-Step Hegemon from existence.

    Everyone found it utterly ridiculous.

Even the Kun Peng prodigy and Dream Dragon stood frozen, their expressions turning grim.

    “Th-that is…?”

“That’s the Void Hegemon, one who surpasses all… the true master of the Void…”

At those shaken words, countless apex powerhouses turned their gazes toward the meteor firestorm.

There, behind the falling inferno, two colossal violet Dragon eyes shimmered, watching them with amused interest.

“Hehehe…” A soft chuckle rippled through the Void; Yu Zi Yu was clearly satisfied with his strike.

It was the ultimate attack of the Soaring Purple Dragon.

There was nothing more to say. Even the Seer, the wielder of an Imperial Artifact, was obliterated on contact.

As for how Yu Zi Yu was so certain the elder had perished? Naturally, it was because…

<Ding! You killed a Half-Step Hegemon. Evolution Points +…, Plunder the Divine Ability, Heaven’s Divination!>

As the crisp, artificial voice sounded in his ears, a deeper smile crept across Yu Zi Yu’s lips.

The gains from killing a Half-Step Hegemon were beyond generous.

However, what pleased him most was the fact that the Seer was finally dead.

The Seer excelled at divination. He was known as the foremost master of divination.

If such a person stepped into the Realm of Hegemony, he would become a severe threat.

One careless moment, and he might deduce the true identity of the Soaring Purple Dragon, and that would spell disaster for Yu Zi Yu.

    Thus, eliminating him was inevitable.

Yu Zi Yu had simply lacked the proper opportunity…

    Until now.

To call this outcome coincidence would be wrong. It was also part of Yu Zi Yu’s own secret calculations.

“With this Seer gone, one of my hidden dangers disappears completely.” Smiling with pride, Yu Zi Yu’s voice resonated through the Void: “Continue. I will guard your back.”

    “Yes, Void Hegemon.”

    The response was a step.

*Boooooom…* With a single, space-shattering stride, the towering World Tree began its advance.

The sheer, incomparable might of the colossus shook the entire cosmos. A palpable, world-ending aura swept outward, heavy and suffocating.

Violet storms of energy rippled outward in successive, expanding waves. Even a Tier-4 could endure the pressure of these titanic waves.

*Rooooaar!* The World Tree unleashed a furious bellow. The sound waves alone materialized into a devastating sonic attack, rolling toward the countless enemy powerhouses.

“Damn it!” A furious shout answered the challenge. The crimson Dream Dragon, Matriarch of the Dragon Clan, unfurled her wings and let loose a resonant Dragon roar of her own. The rising sound managed to counter the World Tree’s bellow.

However, that was understandable; after all; it was a Dragon.

The Dragon Roar was one of the most terrifying sonic weapons in existence, never to be inferior.

And bolstered by her Imperial Artifact, Dream Dragon’s power briefly rivaled that of an ordinary Hegemon.

But this temporary parity came at a cost she couldn’t sustain for long.

“Call for help, quick! Without the Demon Emperor, we cannot hold him!” Her roar echoed through the Heavens, now laced with desperation. “For now, all of us will attack together! Hold him as long as possible! The rest of you, send word! Summon the Demon Emperor!”

“Yes!” A unified, desperate shout answered the command.

Light streaked across the sky as droves of powerhouses retreated from the battlefield.

This was no longer a zone for the weak; even Tier-5s had lost their right to remain.

If the invader had been only the World Tree, perhaps resistance was possible. But now, with the Void Hegemon himself present to guard its flank, how could they possibly hope to resist?
