The beings who were there to sign the Primary Hope Covenant came from almost all the Immortal Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation, which included the Tathagata Buddha Realm, Bright Light Temple, Towering Divine Cave, and so on.

There were also some living fossils who had never shown up before.

Some of them were as old as the Early Ancestor of the Jing Family, Jing Tianyuan. They had been hiding in the past epochs for various reasons.

Presently, people from different Forces were talking about the content of the Primary Hope Covenant and discussing what they needed to do.

Many of these people did not have a right to set the rules for the Primary Hope Covenant, but it did not affect their fervour.

Many smaller Races had also arrived. The Ancestors of their Clans had brought the core members to this place.

The Elders of the Imperial Celestial Palace and the Elders of some Immortal Forces who had arrived early were maintaining order. They had to ensure that the people from the famous Forces were here and they would sign their names on the Primary Hope Covenant.

In the depths of the Mountain of Wonders, there were many palaces on those divine trees. Those buildings were translucent and radiated a divine glow.

On one of the branches that seemed to have extended into the Heavenly Universe, Ling Yuling, the Primary Hope Saintess, and the others stood there in silence. Their hair swayed with the wind as they looked at the rays of light which were traversing across Spacetime.

A moment later, Ling Yuling broke the silence, saying, “Thanks for helping to make the Golden Book of Covenant.”

“Don’t mention it, Senior. The Primary Hope Covenant will affect the entire the Primary Hope Civilisation. All of us are supposed to make a contribution. Moreover, it’s not so easy to make the Golden Book of Covenant in a short time. The earlier the Primary Hope Covenant is signed, the better it is for all of us,” said an ancient being in the Ancestral Dao Realm while shaking his head.

The Golden Book of Covenant was a book which carried the Primary Hope Covenant. Many Ancestral Dao Realm experts had joined forces to craft it.

To make the Golden Book of Covenant, they used a lot of valuable materials such as Dao Source Stones, Chaos Foetuses, and Mother Gold of Tribulation. Hundreds of thousands of them had been used.

Ordinary Immortal Forces could not even fork out the materials needed for making the Golden Book of Covenant.

“I hope the signing of the Primary Hope Covenant will go smoothly.” Ling Yuling nodded while looking worried.

Beside her, the Primary Hope Saintess did not utter a word. She only looked at the Star Territory in the distance.

Flying boats and jade ships traversed across the universes as more and more beings arrived.

To ensure the successful signing of the Primary Hope Covenant, Ling Yuling had hidden it from everyone the entire time. She only revealed the location where the Primary Hope Covenant would be signed after all the content was decided.

She was worried that a certain someone would make some advance arrangements and destroy everything.

“The signing of the Primary Hope Covenant is an important matter in the Primary Hope Civilisation. I believe no one will dare to face the immense pressure and go against the entire the Primary Hope Civilisation at this point. I think that you can rest assured, Senior.”

Dao Monarch Chang Ming approached them with a faint smile. He was one of the people who had a right to decide on the contents of the Primary Hope Covenant, and he had come up with many ideas.

He was not as worried as people like Ling Yuling and the Primary Hope Saintess.

In his opinion, regardless of how powerful the Heavenslayers Alliance was, they could not possibly go against the entire the Primary Hope Civilisation. They were not capable of doing that.

However, it would be a different case if the Heavenslayers Alliance were given tens of thousands of years to keep developing, devouring the Primary Hope Civilisation bit by bit.

It was only reasonable that Ling Yuling and the others had to get prepared in advance.

“We can’t be complacent.” Ling Yuling shook her head upon hearing that. She did not dwell on this topic.

On the other hand, the Primary Hope Saintess glanced at Dao Monarch Chang Ming with a frown.

Some time ago, Dao Monarch Chang Ming had come up to her and mentioned his purpose for returning to the Primary Hope Civilisation. He had speculated that a Love Tribulation would befall him.

Therefore, he decided to return to deal with the Love Tribulation so that his cultivation journey would become smoother.

He had asked the Primary Hope Saintess to lend him a hand when the Love Tribulation struck.

The Primary Hope Saintess did not know what to say upon hearing his request. It was understandable that some powerful cultivators might have a hunch that a Tribulation would befall them. However, there was not a connection between the two of them, so it was inconceivable that his Love Tribulation would have something to do with her.

The Primary Hope Saintess did not directly agree to his request, for she did not know Dao Monarch Chang Ming’s Love Tribulation would come in which form. It was not like she would get together with him if he even made such a proposal.

There was no way she would agree to this ridiculous request.

Anyway, Dao Monarch Chang Ming did not force her. He only said that he would look for her again before the Love Tribulation came.

“Although the people that the Heavenslayers Alliance Leader had left behind had also taken part in the discussion of the Primary Hope Covenant, they did not seem to care. I’m worried that they have an ulterior motive. Although they’ve promised to comply with it, there’s a possibility that they might go back on their word when signing the covenant,” said the leader of the Solar Heavenly Clan.

He was wearing a dark gold crown and a purple robe. His gaze was deep as he looked at a particular grand palace in the distance.

In the Imperial Celestial Palace back then, he was the one who had joined forces with the other leaders to confront the Heavenslayers Alliance Leader. He had always felt that the existence of the Heavenslayers Alliance was a blasphemy to Heaven, so he was eager to get rid of this ill omen for good.

Upon hearing his words, many people furrowed their brows, feeling worried.

“It’s too early to jump to any conclusion.” Ling Yuling shook her head. She also looked at the palace where many people stood. The person at the head was a slender and alluring woman.

The woman’s name was Mu Yan. Although she wasn’t powerful, the Dao Realm experts of the Heavenslayers Alliance regarded her as the leader and obeyed her orders.

It was apparent to everyone that Mu Yan had a special relationship with the Heavenslayers Alliance Leader, Gu Changge.

The black-robed old man who had been following Gu Changge was now beside Mu Yan.

When discussing the details of the Primary Hope Covenant, even though Mu Yan was there, she did not seem to care about it. She did not even look carefully at the content of the Primary Hope Covenant.

Her attitude showed that those from the Heavenslayers Alliance didn’t care about the Primary Hope Covenant at all.

Suddenly, deafening sounds were heard coming from the Star Territory in the distance. Divine Lights penetrated the Star Territory as many cultivators arrived while riding on celestial beasts. Mists surged and clouds covered the sky.

Behind them was a golden carriage which traversed across the Great Universe. A man transformed from the Mother Gold of Tribulations was driving the carriage. Around him were beautiful women who were dropping flower petals. They looked holy.

An ancient aura exuded from the man driving the carriage and he seemed to be seasoned. He was a Dao Realm expert who had gone through several Decay Tribulations. The women around him were in the Immortal Emperor Realm at the very least, with some close to the Dao Realm.

Many beings were shocked as they looked in that direction.

People like Ling Yuling and the Primary Hope Saintess were no exception. They were astounded as no one else had enjoyed an ostentation like this.

“He’s the deputy leader of Empty Boundary Ridge, Shang Chongming. I didn’t expect him to come.” Dao Monarch Chang Ming soon recognised the person as a smile played on his lips.

The Empty Boundary Ridge was a Forbidden Area in the Primary Hope Civilisation, not a traditional Immortal Force. They were not restricted by any rules.

When drafting the Primary Hope Covenant, some leaders had gone to those Forbidden Areas to invite some powerful figures to come over.

Nevertheless, the people from the Forbidden Areas turned them down. That was because Forbidden Areas were not always in the Primary Hope Civilisation. They wandered around the Boundless Expanse as time passed.

Some of their ancient beings were deep in seclusion, so they did not want to be disturbed by anyone else.

Many Immortal Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation did not dare to head to those Forbidden Areas.

However, in the past, some Sect Masters or Ancestors would go to the Forbidden Areas and seek ways to extend their lives before their Decay Tribulations struck.

Rarely would anyone manage to learn the way to get through their Decay Tribulations. Most of them vanished in the end.

“Do you know that man from the Empty Boundary Ridge, Dao Monarch Chang Ming?”

Some ancient beings were shocked. They did not expect someone from a Forbidden Area to come.

“We are merely acquaintances.” Dao Monarch Chang Ming smiled and rose to his feet before turning into a ray of light to greet the deputy leader of Empty Boundary Ridge.

The other leaders hesitated for a moment before following behind him.

Only people like Ling Yuling and the Primary Hope Saintess stayed in the same place.

The deputy leader of Empty Boundary Ridge was a man wearing clothes with floral patterns. He looked handsome and exotic. One of his eyes was azure and the other was scarlet. The birth and death of universes and Chaos seemed to have been enacted behind his eyes, which was a horrifying sight.

He was a being who had gone through his Eighth Decay Tribulation. He was even older than many ancient beings. It was a wonder how long he had been alive.

Dao Monarch Chang Ming knew him and had invited him to witness the signing of the Primary Hope Covenant.

Then, more and more powerful cultivators arrived. Even the ‘Master of Light’ of the Bright Light Temple came as well. He was wearing a white mask and exuded an ancient aura. The Fragments of Time surrounded him. It was as though he had stepped out of ancient times.

Behind the Master of Light were ancient chariots. There were so many of them that they covered the entire sky. All of them were powerful cultivators from the Bright Light Temple. As they flew across the sky, stars trembled and everyone was terrified of the horrifying aura.

Following that, the clone of the Tathagata Buddha Realm’s Buddhism Master also arrived.

An immense Buddha Aura filled the Starry Sky. The dark universe was instantly illuminated.

A flood seemed to have swept across the Mountain of Wonders as the leaves of divine trees rustled. He had brought many monks and Buddhas with him as the Buddha Aura shone on the entire world. Many people had the urge to worship them.

The Buddhism Master of the Tathagata Buddha Realm was more mysterious than any Sect Master. Although only his clone had come, no one dared to be disrespectful to him.

In just a few days, most of the powerful cultivators in the Primary Hope Civilisation had gathered in the Mountain of Wonders.

Later, leaders of the Immortal Forces like Towering Divine Cave also arrived. They took the signing of the Covenant seriously.

Other than those directly involved, many gazes outside the Primary Hope Civilisation also fell upon this place, as they were paying close attention to this matter.

In the Rising Dawn Civilisation, many Forces which were as powerful as the Immortal Forces were observing the activities in the Primary Hope Civilisation through their spies. They were concerned about the outcome of the signing ceremony.

That was because to other Civilisations, it would be a valuable lesson they could learn from.

In the Boundless Expanse, many Forces had predicted the Great Purge was about to come. They had to get prepared to deal with it.

In the central area of the Ancient Shroud Civilisation, there was a gigantic ancient tree. However, the ancient tree had been broken in half. It was a wonder what horrifying power that had caused this.

Still, even half of the tree looked massive. There did not seem to be an end to it. Every leaf extended into the sky and they carried countless galaxies and Chaos Energy. Universes also seem to surround the trunk.

In the depths of the tree crown were a set of palaces.

Many figures who were wearing white robes and ancient accessories surrounded a still lake as they danced and chanted something. It was as though they were deducing the future.

Layers of black mists started appearing from the still lake. Ripples spread as the water started boiling. It seemed that a horrifying being was about to break free and arrive at this place.

When a *boom* was heard, a light shone and the entire world shook. The surface of the lake became still again, but all the buildings had been turned into ruins.

The horrifying being did not come from the other side. Instead, a burning black feather was slowly falling from the sky.

    “Didn’t Master successfully return?”

The people wearing white robes were pale. Some collapsed to the ground, feeling fearful.

“Before the Great Purge Ceremony starts, no one is allowed to sneak out of this place. Once it’s exposed, the consequence will be more terrifying than death. Since Master is the slave of a supreme being, he has to comply with their rules. For some reason, Master still intends to cross the boundary and wants us to assist him with this. Any mistake will bring harm to the Epoch Cicadas Clan.”

An old man wearing a white robe exuded an ancient aura. He came over with difficulty with the help of others. His wrinkled face was full of sorrow.

When the people in white robes heard his words, they appeared aggrieved as well. They naturally understood that, but they did not dare to stop it or turn the other party down.

“In the past, the Mother Tree of Epoch absorbed a lot of Fortuity and Source from the Boundless Expanse. It enraged the supreme being from ‘that side’ and he extended a massive hand to break the Mother Tree of Epoch, snatch away all of its Fortuity and Life Force.

“All of us from the Epoch Cicadas Clan became the sinners of the Ancient Shroud Civilisation. Over the past epochs, we’ve been trying to atone for our sins, but we still can’t make the wrath from that side subside.

“Now, Master intends to sneak out and come to this place, but after his attempt fails, the people from that side will discover it. We cannot afford to bear the consequences.”

The old man looked at the falling burning black feather with melancholy.

From a distance, a young woman with silver hair bit her lip and looked at everything. She seemed hesitant.

“Back then, Eldest Sister was sent to that place in Ninth Sister’s stead. Do you think we should ask the High Priestess to contact Eldest Sister so that she can come up with a solution?” Asked a woman in black clothes while approaching them.

Her impassive expression highlighted her unapproachable personality.

“We haven’t heard from your Eldest Sister for a long time, so we don’t know how she’s faring. Although her Soul Lamp is still lit and her Life Force has yet to disappear, all of you should know just how horrifying that place is.

“Moreover, there’s a huge price to pay if we seek the High Priestess’ help. Also, she’s been displeased with us since that incident happened. I’m afraid she won’t even see us.”

The old man put on a helpless smile and shook their head while looking at the black-clothed woman.

Upon hearing that, the black-clothed woman frowned, feeling that things were troublesome.

“Let me handle this matter, Third Sister. I’ll ask the High Priestess for help. The incident back then happened because of me, so it’s best that I’ll deal with this.” A woman in green clothes suddenly came over. She had an alluring face and carried herself gracefully. Her eyes were emotionless. Nevertheless, she looked so ethereal that it was as though she was engulfed in moonlight.
