In the span of merely a thousand years, the situation within the Primary Hope Civilisation underwent unprecedented upheaval. It was a complete reshuffling of its power structure.

Countless Forces were buried in these thousand years.

Amongst them were quite a few Immortal Forces, and numerous Dao Realm experts that perished. Scenes of their tragic deaths frequently appeared, shaking Heaven and Earth.

Experts of the Heavenslayers Alliance manifested across various regions, leading great armies through different Universes, settling all those who opposed the Heavenslayers Alliance.

After these Forces collapsed and disintegrated, they could only choose to hide, fleeing everywhere to avoid the Heavenslayers Alliance’s pursuit.

Many Forces chose to take sides early on in order to survive, either forced or directly becoming part of the Heavenslayers Alliance.

The might of the Heavenslayers Alliance truly reached an unprecedented peak.

Those Forces that once stood opposed to the Heavenslayers Alliance had now become remnants only spoken of amongst people. They either found a way to escape the Primary Hope Civilisation and smuggling themselves to other Civilisations, or concealing their identities and hid somewhere, living daily under the terrible shadow of the Heavenslayers Alliance.

However, relatively speaking, the Primary Hope Civilisation finally welcomed a slightly more peaceful period after those chaotic times. Under the governance and rule of the Heavenslayers Alliance, the various Forces began to be able to breath, able to recuperate, and the situation in the Primary Hope Civilisation began to stabilise and quieten down.

During these thousand years, those claws extended by other Civilisations were pulled out one by one under the Heavenslayers Alliance’s reckoning. They no longer dared to reach over.

The Primary Hope Civilisation was now the Heavenslayers Alliance’s base headquarters, governed and administered by the Heavenslayers Alliance. Once anyone dared to meddle with the Primary Hope Civilisation, regardless of which Civilisation they came from, would inevitably suffer the Heavenslayers Alliance’s thunderous wrath.

This point had become a consensus throughout the Boundless Expanse, causing numerous Civilisations to harbour deep apprehension.

Those Civilisations or True Worlds surrounding the Primary Hope Civilisation subsequently pledged allegiance to the Heavenslayers Alliance, amongst them were quite a few Nascent True Worlds similar to the Prosperous Dao True World.

Once upon a time, these Nascent True Worlds were regarded as nothing but resource points for the Primary Hope Civilisation, not even counting as ephemeral insects in the vast sea. They completely lacked the qualifications to receive protection from a Supreme True Worlds.

When the Great Purge arrives, those Nascent True Worlds and Ancient True Worlds would be the first targets to face their reckoning.

Therefore, to receive the Heavenslayers Alliance’s protection was something those Nascent True Worlds could only dream of.

However, there were also those that were worried, believing that the Heavenslayers Alliance’s existence violated Heaven’s Will, rebelling against Heaven, and would inevitably be abandoned if not punished by Heaven.

Before the Great Purge arrives, the Heavenslayers Alliance would surely first suffer the most terrible backlash and reckoning. Whether they could even continue to exist then was still questionable, so how could they protect the numerous Forces under it?

The so-called Heavenslaying was merely a pretext established by the Heavenslayers Alliance Master, Gu Changge, to expand his influence and take in followers.

Before the true Great Purge arrives, he would definitely abandon the Heavenslayers Alliance first, abandoning everyone.

His true purpose was actually the same as the former Master of the Black Disaster, to restore or rebuild an organisation like the Heaven’s Proxy Group, to meddle with the Heavenly Dao, to plunder the vitality of all True Worlds, thereby controlling the entire Boundless Expanse and achieving his own personal selfish desires.

Not only were there such voices within the Primary Hope Civilisation, but across the Boundless Expanse and even in some surrounding Civilisations.

Over these years, although the Heavenslayers Alliance tried as much as possible to reform its reputation and avoid unnecessary killing and warfare, in the process of expanding its territories, it inevitably caused slaughter and destruction.

Many Forces were thus annihilated, amongst them including some Immortal Forces that once governed over Heaven and Earth.

Such a Heavenslayers Alliance was both frightening and made people feel apprehensive. Naturally, it also made many beings speak of it with changed expressions, fearing and avoiding it like venomous snakes and scorpions.

In many remote regions not governed by the Heavenslayers Alliance, there were also some cultivators or Forces who claimed to be followers and subjects of the Heavenslayers Alliance. They would borrowing its influence to extort and exploit others, causing surrounding cultivators and Forces unbearable suffering and misery.

These caused the complaints against the Heavenslayers Alliance to continue piling up.

Although the Heavenslayers Alliance had iron laws and rules forbidding such things, these were in places not under their direct control. No one could guarantee that everyone would abide by their rules and regulations.

During these thousand years, such incidents emerged endlessly. Combined with the Heavenslayers Alliance’s focus on expanding territory, constantly setting its sights on more distant True Worlds, focusing on spreading its doctrines and absorbing more followers, it had no time to spare for other matters.

In the eyes of many high-ranking Heavenslayers Alliance members, such small matters were insignificant. Once they knew about them, they would dispatch people to handle them.

However, with the vastness of the Boundless Expanse, with its billions of territories, was just too vast. No matter how much of such things were prevented or stopped, it was impossible to truly stop them from happening.

The influence of the Heavenslayers Alliance also presented two extremes, like ice and fire.

Believers were fanatically devoted to the extreme, while those who hated it wished to devour its flesh and scatter its bones to ashes.

Even ordinary cultivators spoke of it with changed expressions, not daring to say anything more.

As Heavenslayers Temples rose from the ground in more and more territories and domains, the sweeping momentum of the Heavenslayers Alliance’s development reached an unprecedentedly terrifying speed, causing countless Civilisations to feel frightened and deeply apprehensive.

In many people’s eyes, the entire Primary Hope Civilisation had completely fallen into the hands of the Heavenslayers Alliance. A Supreme Civilisation that had existed for countless epochs, in the brief span of a thousand years, had been so firmly rooted and quickly devoured and annexed by an external Force.

Such a scene also made countless cultivators and beings feel deep fear, secretly calling the Heavenslayers Alliance a Demonic Sect.

However, under the governance and rule of the Heavenslayers Alliance, apart from some minor disturbances, the Primary Hope Civilisation had returned to its former peaceful situation.

The Primary Hope Holy Church, Purple Sky Mountain, the Beast Court, the Imperial Celestial Palace, and later the Towering Divine Cave, the Bright Light Temple, and other Forces had all become part of the Heavenslayers Alliance, from which one could know how terrifying its foundation was.

No Supreme Civilisation in the Boundless Expanse dared to underestimate this consolidated force.

Not to mention that within the Heavenslayers Alliance there was an even more terrifying and unfathomably deep Alliance Leader.

    *Whoosh!*

Under the dim sky, the setting sun in the distance was blood-red. On a boundless desert, Where yellow sand rolled endlessly, swept up by fierce winds, continuously emitting howling sounds.

The terrain was incomparably desolate and vast, impossible to see the end at a glance, with dark brown rocks and hills everywhere, lacking any semblance of greenery.

At this moment, a divine light pierced through Heaven, descending from another Spacetime to this territory.

A stunningly beautiful woman wearing a golden long dress with her hair piled high frowned as she surveyed her surroundings, seeming somewhat dazed and unable to believe it.

After a long while, this stunning beauty returned to her senses, shaking her head and murmuring to herself, “I never expected that after only a little more than a thousand years, the Sun Lake of old has already dried up and has disappeared, and the Divine Eternal Clan is nowhere to be found.”

This person was Luo Xiangjun, who had returned to the Immortal Spirit Civilisation.

Luo Xiangjun, according to her agreement with the Eternal Prime God, had taken him and left the Spacetime burial site.

Subsequently, she had retraced her steps and located the Spacetime Coordinates of the Immortal Spirit Civilisation. After a thousand years of an arduous journey, she had finally returned.

A thousand years had passed in the blink of an eye. She had once again returned to the Immortal Spirit Civilisation where she had previously searched for the Eternal Divine Artifact, and proceeded to the Divine Eternal Clan’s territory.

Unfortunately, what she saw now was completely different from the scene when she had lived here before.

There had clearly been a Sun Lake here originally, which was the Divine Eternal Clan’s Forbidden Ground. There, no ordinary Clansmen could set foot in.

Now there was only a boundless wilderness and hills here. Everything had changed completely. The terrain was vast and boundless, with rolling yellow sand, incomparably desolate, with no sign of Human habitation for tens of thousands of kilometres.

“This is what you call my Clan’s territory?”

A hazy radiance appeared. The divine jade that Luo Xiangjun kept in her Sumeru Space glowed, from which came the slightly cold and displeased voice of the Eternal Prime God.

Luo Xiangjun did not know whether he had been sleeping all along.

During these thousand years of arduous journey, he had made no movements or sounds whatsoever, making her constantly ponder whether she should take advantage of his slumber and throw him into a Spacetime turbulence and be done with him.

However, the Eternal Prime God was, after all, an Last Stage existence, after all. Even though he was no longer at his peak now, he was definitely not someone she could contend with.

Therefore, for the sake of her safety, Luo Xiangjun still dare not act rashly and could only obediently rush back to the Immortal Spirit Civilisation.

As long as she could help the Eternal Prime God find his descendants, she would be free.

“Times have changed. A thousand years ago, this place wasn’t like this. Who knew that a thousand years later, it would become like this. I also have no reason to lie to you,” Luo Xiangjun replied indifferently.

“There are indeed traces and auras of my descendants having lived here, though they’re already very faint. It seems they left a long time ago. However, with such thin Bloodlines, they actually dare to claim to be my descendants!? Truly laughable! I never expected that after countless years, my Bloodline has already been severed to this extent. Even the land they ruled over has turned into such a remote and desolate place…” The voice of the Eternal Prime God was somewhat cold and low, as if triggered by the scene before his eyes.

Luo Xiangjun remained silent, only calmly gazing at this boundless desert, her golden dress hem fluttering, not bothering to respond to the Eternal Prime God’s words.

“Since my Clan once resided here, you must find out where they went… Subsequently, the Eternal Prime God coldly instructed, “It has only been a little more than a thousand years, they couldn’t possibly have gone too far.”

Luo Xiangjun nodded, then transformed into a Divine Light and left this place.

This territory was very desolate. Some areas still bore traces of great battles, covered with craters and great ravines. She even saw sword marks that had almost cut the earth in half, with terrifying and cold Qi still dissipating from those marks.

After flying for several hours, Luo Xiangjun finally saw a territory with signs of Human habitation. She concealed her figure and landed on a mountain peak.

Not far from this mountain peak was a dilapidated temple. Further away was a towering ancient city with bustling traffic, with people coming and going. Numerous beings passed in and out of the city gates, and it was incomparably lively compared to the desert.

Luo Xiangjun’s divine sense swept through, quickly learning from those cultivators’ consciousness about the changes over the thousand years.

Years ago, the Zhuo Clan and the Hun Clan, under Gu Changge’s rule, unified the entire Immortal Spirit Civilisation. Subsequently, after several terrible slaughters, the Wu Clan and other groups were destroyed, and numerous Forces within the Immortal Spirit Civilisation also submitted one after another.

Amongst them, some Immortal Forces, in order to continue surviving, had no choice but to submit to the Zhuo Clan and Hun Clan, and now followed Gu Changge’s commands.

The Immortal Spirit Civilisation had also become a base of the Heavenslayers Alliance, serving as a point in which the Heavenslayers Alliance expanded towards the Primary Hope Civilisation.

During this period, many Forces were unwilling to join the Heavenslayers Alliance. However, they either could choose to fight to the death or choose to leave for distant lands.

The Divine Eternal Clan was one of them.

When Luo Xiangjun had initially left the Divine Eternal Clan, the Immortal Spirit Civilisation had not yet come under the complete controlled of Gu Changge, so she did not know what happened afterwards.

“The Divine Eternal Clan is, after all, a Force comparable to the Zhuo Clan. Without the Heavenslayers Alliance obstructing them, the entire Divine Eternal Clan migrated and left, heading into the Boundless Expanse…”

Luo Xiangjun’s expression was rather unpleasant as she informed the Eternal Prime God of the information she had gathered.

Apart from the Divine Eternal Clan itself, probably no one in the Immortal Spirit Civilisation knew where they had migrated to. How was she supposed to find the Divine Eternal Clan’s people? How could she free herself from the Eternal Prime God?

Now, she no longer held any expectation that the Eternal Prime God would honour his initial agreement and hand over the Method to Transcendence to her. Now, she only wanted to survive.

The Eternal Prime God had not anticipated this either. He remained silent for a long while before finally coldly saying, “Regardless, you must find my Descendants. If there is no suitable body with my Bloodline, then I can only occupy your body. You should be very clear about what choice to make.”

Luo Xiangjun’s expression turned cold. The Eternal Prime God’s words were cruel and direct.

If she could not find a suitable body with his Bloodline, then he would have no choice but to occupy her body. Even if he had to pay some price for it, he would do so without hesitation.

“Perhaps there’s another method. I know someone who has part of the Divine Eternal Clan’s Bloodline flowing through her. Perhaps you can use her Bloodline to determine where the Divine Eternal Clan has migrated to.”

Luo Xiangjun thought of Mu Yan, who had been at Gu Changge’s side at that time.

Mu Yan’s Mother was once a Saintess of the Divine Eternal Clan. Half of the Divine Eternal Clan’s Bloodline flowed through her veins.

As the Founder of the Divine Eternal Clan, the Eternal Prime God should be able to determine the current location of his Clansmen through the Bloodline connection from the new generation of Descendants.

The Immortal Spirit Civilisation was not very far from the Primary Hope Civilisation. If she hurried over, she might still make it in time.

Moreover, she could also report to Gu Changge about matters concerning the Eternal Ruins, lest Gu Changge misunderstand and think she had taken the treasures inside and fled.

At this moment, at the Heavenslayers Alliance’s headquarters…

In a palace flowing with starlight-like brilliance and Immortal Mist surging like a vast sea, Gu Changge, who had been sitting cross-legged here all along, rubbed his brow slightly wearily, then slowly opened his eyes.

“A thousand years, though it can be considered all well spent.” He gently raised his hand. Thousands upon thousands of rays of light immediately surged within his palm. Amongst them was conspicuously a fist-sized ball of light, gently rising and falling as if breathing.

All the Power of Faith gathered from Heaven and Earth was surging towards it, devouring incessantly. If one listened carefully, one could even hear roaring sounds like mountains calling and seas howling.

He had not waited for Luo Xiangjun to bring back the numerous materials he needed from the Eternal Ruins. After such a long time without her returning, most likely she had already encountered an accident or died somewhere in the Boundless Expanse.

He did not believe Luo Xiangjun would dare to deceive him and keep the treasures of the Eternal Ruins for herself.

Back when he was in the Immortal Spirit Civilisation, he had let Luo Xiangjun go and try her luck because he lacked the materials to further refine the Sphere of Ambition.

However, now he no longer needed whatever the materials the Eternal Ruins held.

The foundational resources of the Primary Hope Civilisation were incomparable to the Immortal Spirit Civilisation. Over these years, he had already had people gather all the required materials.

The Sphere of Ambition, after his refinement, had evolved, transforming into the Sphere that could be called the Source of the Prosperous Dao True World. Finally, its past affiliation with its old Civilisation had been taken over, and now, it became the core authority to the Prosperous Dao True World.

To be precise, the current Sphere of Ambition should now be called the World Sphere.

The World Sphere condensed and absorbed the Fortuity of the Prosperous Dao True World. After fusion and evolution, Fortuity could finally be refined into Evolution Matter and Indomitable Matter.

These two types of Matter were the most urgently needed substances for Dao Realm experts in their cultivation, just like ordinary cultivators needed Qi, World Energy from Heaven and Earth, Divine Power, Power of Faith, and so on for their cultivation.

For Gu Changge, into Evolution Matter and Indomitable Matter represented, in the Dao Realm, the starting point and endpoint of the Great Dao.

They were also the source of all things, the beginning of chaos, the beginning of primordial chaos, the Source of everything before there was no law, no Heaven, no Earth.

Other Dao Realm experts could not possibly understand what this meant, nor could they comprehend the existence of these matters, much less condense them.

They could only, in the long and enduring process of cultivation, continuously explore their mysteries, glimpsing from the universe a trace of their aura, a wisp, or a strand of their true purpose.

Even if Gu Changge taught them how to condense such Matters, they could not do so. Even if they exhausted their entire lives, they would not be able to condense a single wisp.

Only Transcendent experts, who had achieved True Transcendence in life and possessed supreme wisdom could possibly understand and know of the existence of these Matters, begin to condense them, and use them for themselves.

Whilst somewhat complex to explain the principle, was simply like asking a Human to explain to an insect what matter was composed of, what categories of elements exist in this world.

Therefore, no matter how eloquently or in how much detail the Human explained, one could not possibly expect an insect to understand these things.
