The entire content of the Primary Hope Covenant was written in the Golden Book of Covenant.

Every word was dazzling and aesthetically written. They illuminated the Heavenly Universe and were arranged neatly in the depths of the universe. It was as though they were capable of changing the rules of the Heavenly Dao.

As the Golden Book of Covenant expanded, the light illuminated every corner and every bit of void. Even the darkest part of the Primary Hope Civilisation was filled with light.

The power was indescribable and immense. It was as though the Lord of Heaven had written all these words to set the rules. The tremendous fluctuations penetrated different Spacetimes and the past and the present.

Melodious sounds filled the entire Mountain of Wonders. Images from ancient times emerged and dawn lights intertwined with each other. The divine trees swayed as the dazzling Grand Runes engulfed the ancient leaves.

All beings looked up at the sky, trying to make out the content of the Golden Book of Covenant.

However, the words were too dazzling for ordinary living beings to directly look at them.

They started crying as their eyes were in pain. Only Dao Realm experts could make out the words with difficulty from a long distance.

The ancient beings who had collaborated to make the Golden Book of Covenant also looked up at the depths of the universe.

The Dao Realm experts of the Heavenslayers Alliance were doing the same.

The leaders of various Forces were intently reading the content of the Primary Hope Covenant. They carefully studied every word.

“It seems that we’ll enjoy some peaceful days ahead. The content of the Primary Hope Covenant matches our expectations.”

When they finished reading the Golden Book of Covenant, they were relieved and smiled.

Before this, many were worried. Although they had heard about the content of the Primary Hope Covenant, they still could not set their minds at ease. They were worried there would be unfavourable rules for them. They were also worried that the Founder of the Imperial Celestial Palace had collaborated with the Heavenslayers Alliance to set up a trap for them.

When the Golden Book of Covenant was revealed, they finally felt the pressure lifted off their chests.

“That’s great. Different Forces are supposed to coexist peacefully and stick to the rules. No one should act recklessly. Before the calamity strikes the Primary Hope Civilisation, there’d better not be any internal strife.”

“Only when we collaborate can we get through the Great Purge.”

The leaders of many smaller Forces were pleased with this arrangement.

Unlike the Immortal Forces which had some Ancestral Dao Realm experts, these smaller Forces  only had several below the Ancestral Dao Realm. They were powerless against a juggernaut like the Heavenslayers Alliance. Other than being occupied, they didn’t have a chance to survive.

In the past, they would have to seek help from the Immortal Forces.

Nevertheless, considering the current situation, even the Immortal Forces could not save themselves as they had to collaborate. The others could only pray that they would not be so unlucky.

In a way, the appearance of the Primary Hope Covenant had helped solve their most pressing crisis and they would be able to enjoy some peaceful days.

At this moment, many leaders of smaller Forces were eager to sign the Primary Hope Covenant and take the Dao Oath.

“It seems that the rules are complete and perfect. Even ordinary living beings have been taken into consideration.”

When Shang Chongming finished scanning the Golden Book of Covenant, he fell into his thoughts.

“Senior Ling Yuling is worried about everyone and has meticulously considered everything. Naturally, she wouldn’t neglect anyone. She deserves our respect.”

The ancient beings were full of reverence for Ling Yuling upon hearing that. If they were to decide on the content of the covenant, they would not have spent too much time considering the interests of the ordinary Forces.

In the Primary Hope Civilisation, there was an incalculable number of those ordinary Forces. Beings like them who were at the top of the Primary Hope Civilisation would not care about their interests.

“The future is uncertain. I’m only doing my best to help.” Ling Yuling smiled faintly.

All the rules of the Primary Hope Covenant were ethical. Not even a rule was detrimental to anyone.

She had even considered the doctrine of the Heavenslayers Alliance in some parts as she was worried Gu Changge would say she was being unfair.

That way, even if Gu Changge refused to sign the Primary Hope Covenant, how was he going to explain the doctrine of the Heavenslayers Alliance? He would be contradicting himself.

“That’s the right way to handle this matter. The future is uncertain. I hope all parties will behave themselves and not do anything that will cross the line. Otherwise, we have every reason to destroy anything or anyone who might harm our interests.”

The leader of the Solar Heavenly Clan dipped his head.

The leaders around him were already aware of the content of the Primary Hope Covenant, so they were not surprised.

Many people had come together to discuss and draft the Primary Hope Covenant. They had done their best to protect the interests of their Forces while trying not to affect the status quo. However, some rules were rejected by Ling Yuling because she felt those were inappropriate.

She was fair when drafting the Primary Hope Covenant so that it would benefit the entire the Primary Hope Civilisation. There shouldn’t be any vested interests in it.

Ling Yuling looked at Gu Changge and asked, “Do you want to amend anything, Young Master Gu?”

Gu Changge looked up at the sky after she revealed the Golden Book of Covenant. He never expressed his opinions, nor was there any change in his expression. As such, she could not find out what was on his mind.

“There’s nothing wrong with the content of the covenant.” Gu Changge smiled and looked away from the Golden Book of Covenant.

Upon hearing that, Ling Yuling was startled as Gu Changge’s reaction was surprising. On the other hand, the ancient beings around her were elated.

In their opinion, as long as Gu Changge was willing to sign the Primary Hope Covenant, the problem would be resolved. Therefore, his stance was important.

Now that Gu Changge was not furious, it meant that things might go smoothly.

The leaders of the other Forces were surprised as well. Many had believed that there would be an argument and a battle might even happen. Therefore, they were well prepared and many had brought their Artifacts with them.

Much to their surprise, the Heavenslayers Alliance Leader, Gu Changge, seemed to be fine with it.

Anyone could tell that the content of the Primary Hope Covenant would put the Heavenslayers Alliance at a disadvantage. It was specifically drafted to curb the Heavenslayers Alliance’s expansion.

There was a rule which stated that all the parties should stay in their territories and not occupy other territories. They also could not slaughter the people of another

    Force.

It was apparently meant to stop the Heavenslayers Alliance from expanding rapidly.

The Immortal Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation had been around for countless years, so they were way past the period when they needed to expand their territories. Now, all of them dutifully protected their territories.

There was rarely any conflict between them. The last time an epic war broke out was when those from the Primary Hope Holy Church issued the Primary Hope Order so that all the forces would come together to destroy the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Before that, many felt that the war between the Beast Court and the Land of Celestial Suffering was merely an accident. They did not even understand how things ended up that way.

During this period, the Heavenslayers Alliance suddenly gained a footing. What took the Immortal Forces hundreds of epochs to achieve was attained by the Heavenslayers Alliance in just several hundred years. They had also occupied many Forces and were still expanding rapidly.

It was apparent that they would continue to extend their influence to the territories of other Forces.

In the distance, the Primary Hope Saintess stood there and looked at everything with dispassion. A glint flickered from her eyes.

“I wonder what he’s up to. It’s unlikely that things will go smoothly.” The leader of the Solar Heavenly Clan stared at Gu Changge with his deep gaze. Dao energy exuded from his eyes and his expression showed deep hostily.

He felt that the signing of the Primary Hope Covenant wouldn’t be so easily completed.

He had been hostile against the Heavenslayers Alliance. In the Imperial Celestial Palace back then, he had tried to join forces with others to deal with Gu Changge.

The King of the Land of Celestial Suffering, Chu Gucheng, had done so much for him. He was exploring some Spacetime during Chu Gucheng’s birthday banquet, so he did not attend the party.

When he returned to the Primary Hope Civilisation, he was shocked to learn that the Land of Celestial Suffering had been destroyed.

Then, he looked into everything he could find about the Heavenslayers Alliance. Although he could not get any useful information, he became certain that the Heavenslayers Alliance had something to do with the remnants of the Black Disaster.

The Heavenslayers Alliance Leader, Gu Changge, might even be a remnant of Heaven’s Proxy Group.

The leaders of other Forces frowned upon hearing his words.

They did not think that things would go smoothly either. After all, it was not easy to deal with the ruthless man who had caused the demise of the Land of Celestial Suffering.

“Young Master Gu, if you think there’s nothing wrong with the covenant, shall we sign it now?”

Ling Yuling came to her senses and waved her hand. A Divine Light beamed from the Golden Book of Covenant in the depths of the universe. It covered the entire sky above the Mountain of Wonders.

She was surprised by Gu Changge’s attitude. She had thought about many possibilities, but she never expected that Gu Changge would be so cooperative.

Moreover, the other people of the Heavenslayers Alliance in the hall were still calm and collected. They did not seem to care about the content of the Primary Hope Covenant.

[Could they not see that the rules of the Primary Hope Covenant would have a negative impact on the Heavenslayers Alliance’s expansion?]

Although Ling Yuling had thought about many possibilities, she could not figure out what was going on now. Perhaps her worries were unfounded and she had some false assumptions about Gu Changge and the Heavenslayers Alliance.
