To be locked onto by over a thousand Martial Ancestors, most people with weaker Wills would have already crumbled on the spot.

And yet this fellow had the audacity to refuse, and to speak words of such breathtaking arrogance to boot.

In that moment, countless brilliant young prodigies who each considered themselves rather arrogant looked at Qin Yichen and felt, with some discomfort, that their own brand of arrogance was practically indistinguishable from humility by comparison.

This went beyond mere arrogance. With a single sentence, he had achieved something genuinely outrageous.

“Mo Sheng, that kid has the spirit you had when you were young, *ha ha ha*!”

High above the Thunderous Blessings Mountain Range, beyond the space rift, Chen Xun watched the scene below, a flicker of surprise passing through his eyes as he laughed.

“When was I ever that reckless?” As if the scene had stirred something from the depths of memory, Mo Sheng’s eyes took on a peculiar cast for a moment, and then he gave a quiet laugh.

Shortly after, something that looked remarkably like interest appeared on his normally unreadable face.

    …

“Are you truly determined to seek death?”

“We gave you a chance, and since you clearly wish to vanish from this world entirely, we shall grant you that wish.”

After a long pause, the crowd finally shook themselves loose from the stupefaction Qin Yichen’s brazen declaration had plunged them into. At once, roar after roar of fury rang out without cease, and one powerful aura after another erupted forth, locking that slender figure atop the mountain peak in an iron grip.

    “Enough talk. Come  at me.”

Faced with the crushing weight of countless fierce auras bearing down on him, Qin Yichen felt something stir in the blood coursing through his body, felt it begin to simmer and then to boil. Upon him, a blazing fighting spirit burned without restraint.

If they wanted to lay hands on his Pill Formula and on his Myriad Dao Divine Armour chest plate, then what did it matter if it was the Myriad Races themselves he stood against?

Even if he could not break free from this terrifying encirclement, anyone who wanted something from him was going to pay a steep and brutal price.

    “Ignorant fool.”

“I honestly cannot imagine where he gets this confidence. Is it simply because he reached the Late Stage Martial Ancestor Realm?”

Mocking voices rang out here and there from the surrounding forests, and a huge number of silhouettes had already begun quietly sweeping towards the mountain peak where Qin Yichen stood.

“Brother Xiang, what do we do now?”

In one corner of the forest, Li Shan and the others all turned their eyes towards Xiang Linzi.

At this moment, Xiang Linzi’s expression was also exceedingly grim. Although, within their small circle, his cultivation and the backing of his Race were the strongest. The ones surrounding Qin Yichen came from hundreds upon hundreds of different Races.

Against numbers like these, even a Top Tier Race would not willingly wade in, let alone them, who were merely a First Tier Force.

“Let us wait and see. I have already warned Brother Qin, and I believe he is not the sort of person to act without thinking.” In the end, Xiang Linzi let out a quiet sigh, murmuring under his breath.

Hearing this, Li Shan and the others also sighed, but there was nothing else to be done.

Even if they stepped forward now, all they would add was a few more corpses. It would not change the final outcome by even a fraction.

“Brat, remember in your next life to keep a lower profile. Being this outrageous means you will not even know how you died.”

By now, over twenty silhouettes had already reached the area surrounding the mountain peak where Qin Yichen stood. The weakest aura among them was a Late Stage Martial Ancestor, and within that group were three or four at the Peak Stage.

What was more, they appeared to have no further interest in conversation. After a single exchanged glance, ferocious Yuan Energy fluctuations began surging from their hands.

    *Boom!*

Immediately, torrents of surging Yuan Energy came howling forth, condensing into colossal ribbons of force that, carrying a savagery enough to make even Peak Stage Martial Ancestors despair, came crashing down upon Qin Yichen like a tide.

Seeing this, quite a few onlookers allowed themselves small, amused smirks.

The combined assault of two or three dozen Martial Ancestors, even someone as powerful as Qing Luan, a peak powerhouse among the Martial Ancestors, would have to fall back and avoid the brunt of it.

And this fellow was a mere Late Stage Martial Ancestor. No matter how loudly he had been talked up of late, how could he compare to the brilliant young geniuses of the most renowned Top Tier Races, those who had long since made their names?

Those experts moved with uncanny coordination, their vast Yuan Energy attacks converging at astonishing speed, slamming into Qin Yichen’s body at virtually the same instant.

    *Bang!*

In an instant, the rocks and boulders of that small mountain peak were pulverised to dust, and a haze of debris billowed in every direction.

Seeing this, quite a few people let out derisive snorts. This outrageously arrogant kid had died without so much as a scream.

    “He isn’t dead yet!”

And yet, just as many were gloating and some were already moving to search for any remnants left behind, a startled cry suddenly split the air.

At once, gaze after gaze snapped back towards the debris-covered summit.

There, the haze gradually thinned and settled. The mountain peak that had once jutted prominently was visibly diminished, sheared back by those terrifying attacks. But what truly shocked everyone was that atop that levelled summit, a slender silhouette was slowly resolving itself into view.

That figure stood there still, perfectly composed, precisely as before. It was as though those attacks, powerful enough to obliterate a Peak Stage Martial Ancestor, had not inflicted the slightest harm upon him.

Seeing this, countless experts gaped in open-mouthed astonishment.

Even many of those who had themselves reached the Peak Stage Martial Ancestor Realm felt their pupils constrict, their brows knitting involuntarily.

Those attacks just now, they believed without question that had they been standing in that spot themselves, they would have been reduced to splinters long ago. And yet this fellow looked as though absolutely nothing had happened to him.

At this point, countless experts suddenly recalled that this particular individual had, while only at the Early Stage of the Martial Ancestor Realm, already broken free from an encirclement of over a hundred experts.

And now he had advanced to the Late Stage Martial Ancestor Realm, his strength had become something even more frighteningly formidable.

At the same time, the crimson hue in still more eyes deepened and intensified. As far as they were concerned, Qin Yichen clearly had some extraordinarily precious treasure upon his figure.

“Is this all the strength you have? Or did your Races simply forget to feed you?”

Beneath the weight of gaze after gaze, the slender figure atop the summit stepped calmly out from within the settling dust, his cold voice tinged with a note of contempt, resonating throughout Heaven and Earth.

The moment that voice landed, the expressions of those two or three dozen experts shifted sharply all at once.

Their capabilities were, within their respective Races, considered outstanding among their generation. Ordinarily, any who spoke to them did so with the utmost deference and care. And now, to be mocked in this fashion, it sent fury blazing instantly through them.

However, the fact that the latter had survived that assault entirely unscathed also sent no small measure of wariness rippling through them.
