“That young man is no ordinary person!”

As everyone watched Qin Yichen standing there without the faintest change in expression, a ripple of collective awe welled up in their chests.

The situation was as plain as day. They were practically one breath away from exposing his arrogant lies outright, and yet Qin Yichen remained so thoroughly composed that one had to wonder: was this even something a normal person was capable of?

Just how thick was his face!

    “Wait… something isn’t right!”

Xiong Xiong and the others, who had also been wearing rather peculiar expressions, suddenly straightened up.

By all logic, if Xiang Linzi had genuinely sustained injuries, and the Pill had produced no effect whatsoever, he would never continue dragging things out and worsening his own condition.

And yet, after expelling a mouthful of foul blood, Xiang Linzi remained with his eyes shut tight, showing not the slightest hint of anything amiss.

    “His wound… it’s healing!”

All at once, a startled cry rang out, and every pair of eyes immediately snapped toward the deep, bone-visible gash on Xiang Linzi’s arm.

There, before them all, the wound that had only moments ago been seeping fresh blood was now visibly closing, at a speed the naked eye could follow quite plainly.

Witnessing this, more than a few people drew in sharp, cold breaths.

As the most outstanding youth of the Giant Elephant Race, Xiang Linzi’s physical constitution was naturally far from weak, and his self-recovery ability was nothing to scoff at either. But that sort of recovery was absolutely nothing like this terrifying display.

If the Giant Elephant Race could recover at such a speed, their overall strength could well leap up by an entire tier.

“Could it be the effect of that Pill?”

“How could that be? Even if that Pill had some use for the Giant Elephant Race, how could recovery happen this quickly?”

Upon seeing Xiang Linzi’s wound closing, wave after wave of bewildered exclamations immediately erupted from all sides.

Amidst the chorus of doubts, people suddenly recalled how Li Shan, rendered so gravely injured earlier that he had lost even the ability to move, had managed a turnaround in barely the time it took to burn a single incense stick, ultimately seizing upon one careless moment from Xiong Xiong to slip away.

At the memory of that, the voices of incredulous doubt quietly died down, one by one, and every gaze fixed itself with absolute intensity upon Xiang Linzi.

The only person who could possibly explain the current situation, it seemed, was Xiang Linzi himself.

In no more than a moment, the ghastly wound on Xiang Linzi’s hand had vanished entirely, leaving behind nothing but a faint, shallow scab.

As the scar on his hand finished closing, Xiang Linzi’s tightly shut eyes snapped open abruptly, and in that single instant, a terrifying flash of sharp brilliance swept through his gaze.

“That aura… could he have already recovered?”

“This… how is this even possible?!”

Sensing the fluctuations now radiating from Xiang Linzi, those nearby, including Xiong Xiong, suddenly saw their pupils contract sharply, their hearts seized by utter astonishment.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Xiong Xiong and the others each inflicted wounds upon themselves, then swallowed down the Pills in their hands in one go.

In a short while, without any unexpected complications, the fluctuations from each of them were fully restored.

Watching this unfold, the vast sea of people packed into the Blood Boulder Platform fell into a profound, collective silence.

Li Shan, Xiang Linzi, Xiong Xiong, and the rest, representing five or six different Races, had all consumed those Pills, which appeared no different from one another, and yet each of them had been healed at a truly astonishing speed.

Could it be, then, that this Pill truly worked for every Race under Heaven?

And those three terrifying effects, combined with the speed at which the medicine took hold, made it nothing short of an essential companion for anyone walking across the continent.

Consider for a moment: if two evenly matched rivals of mortal enmity were to encounter one another, and in the midst of an exhausting, all-out battle one side were suddenly to swallow such a Pill…

The result would be utterly decisive.

Amongst the powerful experts who walked the continent, who had not accumulated three or five enemies? Who had never found themselves in a moment of dire peril?

And beyond that, if one were able to purchase this Pill in large quantities, for one’s own Race that would be an immeasurable boon.

At the thought of this, more than a few people found their breathing growing involuntarily heavier.

“Everyone, tomorrow this Young Master will be publicly selling these Pills at the Myriad Beasts City’s Medicine Market, and there will be other varieties as well.”

“However, the Pills are limited in number, so it is hoped that none of you will miss this opportunity!”

At this moment, Mei Ler’s sweet voice drifted out gently.

Under the effect of those words, the crowd, which had been suspended in stunned astonishment, snapped back to their senses all at once.

“This must be reported back immediately!”

No sooner had Mei Ler’s voice fallen than the dense mass of figures burst into rapid motion. Silhouette after silhouette peeled away from the Blood Boulder Platform at speed, scattering off in every direction toward Myriad Beasts City.

Among them were no small number of scouts belonging to the Top Tier Races.

The Pills that Qin Yichen had produced were simply too extraordinary. News of this sort, regardless of whether it was true or false, had to be sent up to their Race without delay, so that the great figures could make the call.

After all, should these Pills prove to be genuine, they were certain to be coveted by every Race under Heaven.

And even if one’s own Race could not obtain the Pill Formula for such a Pill, one absolutely could not allow a rival race to get hold of it. Because if they did, that would be a fatal threat.

A Pill that worked universally for every Race, and possessed multiple effects at once.

This piece of news, as though it had sprouted wings, spread through Myriad Beasts City at remarkable speed.

Even the Top Tier Races situated in Myriad Beasts City’s central district were shaken.

Yet despite this, the various reactions did not seem to manifest quite as dramatically as one might have imagined.

Within Myriad Beasts City’s central district, inside an imposing and solemn manor.

A golden-haired young man sat within, his body carrying concealed fluctuations of remarkable intensity that seeped outward in rippling waves. What was most striking, however, was that even his eyes were a shade of gold.

At this moment, a scout was kneeling before him, recounting the events that had unfolded upon the Blood Boulder Platform.

“You may withdraw. I have already heard everything.”

After listening to the scout’s full account, the golden-haired, gold-eyed young man’s brow furrowed deeply, and after brooding in silence for a brief moment, he spoke with quiet indifference.

“A Pill that works for every Race? And with three effects?”

“*Hmph!* Is that not even more outrageous than the claims of the Medicine Race?”

“It is almost certainly nothing more than a scheme cooked up by that handful of Weak Races.” The golden-haired young man let out a cold laugh, a faint gleam of contempt flickering through his eyes.

As members of a Top Tier Race, they were extraordinarily proud by nature. Furthermore, in their understanding of Pills, they had already drawn in certain individuals from the Medicine Race to craft Pills tailor-made for their Race’s constitution.

For a Pill that was supposedly miraculous beyond all reason, he simply did not believe a word of it.

After all, if such a Heaven Defying Pill truly existed, why would so many Races still spend such enormous sums engaging members of the Medicine Race?

After mulling it over at length, the golden-haired young man still waved a hand, and a figure came flickering in from outside.

“Tomorrow, go to the Medicine Market and investigate the truth of the matter. Report anything you find to me directly.”

    “Understood!”

This same scene was simultaneously playing out across the many strongholds of Myriad Beasts City’s various Forces. Countless Races had all received word of this development, and nearly every Top Tier Race, as well as those clans with deep reserves and long histories, showed no visible movement on the surface.

Only the Second Tier Races and a handful of First Tier Races with slightly shallower foundations were so eager that they rushed about in every direction, probing for confirmation of the news.
