    **Boom! Boom!**

The Silent Forest, within a Dangerous Territory.

On ordinary days, practically no one dared to blunder in here carelessly. Yet at this moment, within it, residual divine techniques that sent countless experts scrambling out of the way were being triggered at intervals, shaking the earth and rattling the mountains.

Within the violent storm of one such residual divine technique’s aftershock, a figure appeared to be standing upright amidst the chaos.

As the storm gradually subsided, a figure slowly walked out from within it.

That figure was none other than Qin Yichen!

Though he looked somewhat dishevelled at this moment, his aura was extraordinarily steady. Clearly, the terrifying storm from before had not dealt him any significant injury. It had not even left a single mark upon his body.

    **Crack!* Pop! Snap!*

Qin Yichen stretched his body out slightly, and with his movement, a series of crisp sounds like rolling thunder immediately rang out from within his frame.

Under the protection of the Myriad Dao Divine Armour chest plate, these fearsome residual divine techniques had instead become a sharp instrument for his cultivation.

Under the tempering of the residual divine techniques, Qin Yichen could feel with perfect clarity that his already powerful physical body, which had been at a bottleneck, now faintly showed signs of advancing yet another step, growing even more formidable than before!

“This kind of power…” Qin Yichen clenched his fist, the corner of his mouth curving into a confident smile.

Then, with a light grip of his fist, he abruptly bent at the waist, extended one arm, and sent a punch driving straight into the black marshland below, which had dried out and grown as hard as iron.

    *Thud!*

Under that single punch, as though a blade slicing through beancurd, Qin Yichen’s arm drove straight into that rock-hard black marshland, and yet on the surface of the ground all around it, there was not a single *Crack!*

Clearly, Qin Yichen’s control over his own force had already reached a state where it could be deployed entirely at will!

Yuan Energy was naturally best when it was stronger.

However, if Yuan Energy was too powerful and one’s mastery over it was insufficient, then one’s cultivation, no matter how impressive, would be hard pressed to display even one tenth of its true potential. That would be counterproductive.

Under the tempering of those residual divine techniques, shielded by the Myriad Dao Divine Armour, Qin Yichen continuously channelled his Yuan Energy to resist the strikes, and under this tempering, his command over the Yuan Energy surging within him grew increasingly effortless and natural.

“It is time to set out!”

Feeling the tremendous power within him, Qin Yichen’s heart was filled with confidence.

With his current strength, should he face the sort of pursuit from before once more, he would no longer need to flee in such a wretched state.

Then, Qin Yichen retrieved from his Space Ring the map that Qing Luan had given him before departing, and after briefly orienting himself, his figure moved, blasting off in a particular direction.

Though the map charted a safe route within it, the direction Qin Yichen chose to travel was not along that corridor. Instead, he had selected the path that would allow him to traverse the Silent Forest in the shortest possible time.

Along this route, there were two Dangerous Territories marked with conspicuous warning symbols.

However, these regions that others gave a wide berth to Qin Yichen, who had now obtained the chest plate component of the Myriad Dao Divine Armour, no longer posed any significant threat.

Outside the Dangerous Territory where Qin Yichen had been, more than ten figures were waiting in the forest beyond.

All around these figures, there were already more than ten Demonic Beast carcasses of enormous size, the blood that had poured from several of them long since dried to a dark crimson.

Clearly, they had been here for some time.

“Half a month has already passed, and that brat still hasn’t come out!”

    “*Hmph!* He’s definitely died inside.”

“What a waste of our time. There’s only half a month left. I wonder if we can even manage to cross this dreadful place.”

“*Haaa…* it seems like Jin Mi will have to find a way to obtain that Pill Formula from the Soaring Joy Chamber of Commerce himself.”

These ten-odd figures were, unmistakably, a portion of the group that had been pursuing Qin Yichen earlier.

At the spot where Qin Yichen had entered that Dangerous Territory, some thirty to forty experts had been keeping watch, and even though none of them believed Qin Yichen could walk out of there alive, as a precaution, a dozen or so experts had also been stationed at the other exits.

Half a month of standing watch, even with the conditions Jin Mi had promised, had made these experts grow rather impatient.

After all, the first trial of the Supreme Expert’s recruitment had a time limit of one month, and if they continued standing guard, even with the safe route map Jin Mi had provided, they might not be able to pass through in time.

More critically, the slaughter of Demonic Beasts had meant that the smell of blood kept drawing attacks from Demonic Beasts. And more terrifying still, no one could tell what on earth had happened in this wretched place, as residual divine techniques would occasionally come streaking out of the Dangerous Territory.

Fortunately, this particular group of experts were not weak, and someone was always able to sense the danger from a distance, allowing them to dodge in time, so they had suffered no casualties.

    *Whoosh!*

From the Dangerous Territory before this group, a sharp sound of wind-splitting suddenly rang out.

    “Damn it! Another one!”

    “Get clear, quickly!”

Sensing the disturbance from within the Dangerous Territory, these experts immediately scattered in all directions, afraid of being struck by a residual divine technique.

Amidst wary, vigilant gazes, that wind-splitting sound drew closer and closer, and they even sensed that the fluctuation was howling directly toward their position.

Yet just as they were reeling with alarm, that sound of wind-splitting came to a sudden stop, and then, amidst one expression of stunned disbelief after another, a slender figure appeared like a ghost atop a great tree before them.

    “That is…”

    “Qin Yichen?!”

More than ten pairs of eyes fixed upon that slender figure, and as they made out the face of the one standing there, cries of utter disbelief erupted one after another.

Then, the area fell silent once more, every gaze locked in astonishment upon that figure which had appeared so abruptly, each and every person staring as though they had seen a ghost.

A Dangerous Territory was, in the understanding of all present, an absolute Forbidden Zone.

Across the vast passage of time, countless experts had perished within Dangerous Territories. Those who had ever escaped from one could be counted on one hand, and every single one of them had been both extraordinarily powerful and absurdly fortunate, barely scraping out alive by sheer luck.

And yet here, before them, was a fellow who was merely at the Early Stage Martial Ancestor Realm, who had been chased into the Dangerous Territory with nowhere left to run, and whom practically everyone had assumed was long dead, now appearing before them in the flesh.

The shock of it hit like a physical blow, leaving these experts standing rooted to the spot.

More than ten Martial Ancestors stood there like wooden chickens, every gaze frozen solid upon that slender figure.
