Deep within the ruins, shrouded by mist so thick it appeared nearly black.

The black energy that had remained unchanged for countless ages now parted today, creating a passage for a single advancing figure.

This figure was none other than Qin Yichen, wielding the Master Craftsman’s Hammer.

    *Whoosh!*

A shadow flickered towards Qin Yichen from his flank, yet he responded with mechanical precision, his arm swinging in a practiced arc. The Master Craftsman’s Hammer struck with unerring accuracy against the shadow’s skull.

    *Crack!*

Following a crisp impact, a crystalline pearl was swept into his collection.

Even with the Master Craftsman’s Hammer’s protection, the journey had brought numerous assaults. After walking for approximately half an hour, Qin Yichen sensed that the special resonance within his hammer was intensifying dramatically.

[Am I nearly there?] Qin Yichen internally questioned, his gaze turning forward with mounting excitement. Upon witnessing the scene ahead, his brow furrowed involuntarily.

In the distance, the black mist had reached a degree of darkness comparable to ink itself, creating the impression that even light was being devoured by its presence.

Beneath that absolute blackness, an eerie chill emanated outward. Despite Qin Yichen’s physical resilience, he felt the sharp, penetrating pain of that bone-deep cold.

[What exactly is this relic?] Qin Yichen drew a deep breath. The black energy here had reached such a terrifying concentration that without the Master Craftsman’s Hammer, approaching would be utterly impossible.

Relying upon the hammer, Qin Yichen penetrated through the black mist. Eventually, his pace began to decelerate as he realised that the trembling within the Master Craftsman’s Hammer had suddenly ceased.

[Have I reached the deepest point?]

Maintaining his measured stride, after a few moments the surrounding black mist began to dissipate gradually. What appeared before him was approximately one hundred metres of black earth, completely devoid of any trace of mist.

At the centre of this seemingly endless black fog lay this pristine territory, genuinely surprising Qin Yichen.

Upon this land, space itself appeared to writhe with distortion. Perhaps it was precisely this warped space that created the barrier separating this realm from the encroaching mist.

[What Divine Artifact could inspire such concentrated black energy to attempt to corrupt it?] Qin Yichen speculated, his form already advancing towards the centre of this black earth.

The moment his foot touched this mist-free ground, Qin Yichen’s body stiffened completely.

Perhaps due to the Master Craftsman’s Hammer’s protection, beneath his feet, the originally black earth lost its terrifying darkness, retreating rapidly like the previous black mist.

[Could it be that the black mist isn’t corrupting the Artifact? But…] Qin Yichen’s gaze examined where this land met the black fog, a sudden thought flashing through his mind.

Perhaps those endless black mists were emanating from this very black earth?

With this realisation, the unease in Qin Yichen’s heart intensified considerably.

Continuing forward, after approximately several minutes, Qin Yichen reached near the centre of this territory.

What appeared before him were two arm guards resembling wood-like material.

These arm guards appeared far larger than those worn by ordinary people. What caused Qin Yichen’s pupils to contract were the mystical patterns adorning this pair of guards.

[These patterns…] He was certain this was his first encounter with such designs. Yet somehow, upon seeing these markings, a voice within his heart spoke with absolute clarity, explaining their meaning!

    “The Myriad Dao Divine Armour!”

Perhaps in the minds of those from the Lu Ban Sect, the legendary Myriad Dao Divine Armour was simply a single piece of armour.

However, Qin Yichen understood from Lu Ban’s Inheritance that the Myriad Dao Divine Armour was, more precisely, not merely one piece of armour, but an entire set!

From arm guards to knee guards, helmet to chest plate and every bodily protection, Master Lu Ban had devoted nearly his entire life’s energy to forging this creation!

These arm guards before him were part of the Myriad Dao Divine Armour!

From the first glimpse of the Myriad Dao Divine Armour, an inexplicable tremor of genuine trepidation spread from the depths of Qin Yichen’s heart.

Qin Yichen approached with extreme caution. As he drew nearer, he discovered that beneath these arm guards, the ground resembled a Soul-devouring black hole.

Qin Yichen’s consciousness suddenly wavered. His body unconsciously stepped forward, both hands gently settling upon this pair of arm guards.

Upon initial contact, Qin Yichen’s expression changed drastically. Before he could regain his composure, two masses of concentrated, water-like black mist struck directly against his forehead.

    *Boom!*

The instant those black mist masses contacted Qin Yichen’s forehead, the world before his eyes transformed immediately. A scene seemingly from ancient times manifested within his consciousness.

Within this vision, numerous figures filled the sky densely, each emanating an aura of incomparable power, far exceeding any Martial Emperor Qin Yichen had previously encountered!

These figures hovered in mid-air, their gazes fixed upon the horizon, expressions marked by worry, as though anticipating some dreaded occurrence.

    *Crack!*

Within Qin Yichen’s mind, the sky above suddenly displayed signs of distortion. Subsequently, black fissures began appearing slowly within the twisted space.

The moment these black portals manifested, powerful Yuan Energy fluctuations erupted from those figures. Their attention focused intently upon the black portals suspended in mid-air.

Under their observation, the sky seemed to fill with pervasive darkness. Within this darkness, crimson glints flickered occasionally, creating an atmosphere of despairing suffocation.

These black fissures transformed into black portals, whereupon darkness, thick as tidal waters, began seeping through each gateway in the form of living creatures.

This blackness swept across the sky’s powerful figures, and as it spread, those seemingly omnipotent warriors proved utterly helpless against such darkness. Wherever the blackness passed, every expert crumbled to ash, gradually vanishing from this realm.

Witnessing this scene, Qin Yichen’s extremities grew numb.

[Is this that great catastrophe?] Observing this devastatingly one-sided battle, Qin Yichen sighed internally.

Although those figures possessed tremendously formidable auras, they offered no resistance whatsoever.

Just as the aerial army of experts suffered countless casualties, approaching complete annihilation, suddenly, a colossal figure appeared in mid-air like a blazing Sun.
