While the Elders of different Practice Grounds were bringing their Disciples back to the Imperial Celestial Palace, another major event was happening in the Primary Hope Civilisation.

The conflict between Land of Celestial Suffering and the Beast Court had intensified. The confrontation between the two armies at the border was so violent that anyone would be terrified.

Chu Gucheng’s 130th epoch birthday party was around the corner. He had invited many people from different places.

The leaders and famous individuals from the Supreme Forces and Races had accepted the invitations and were heading over, including those from Purple Sky Mountain, who held some grudges against the Land of Celestial Suffering.

However, the birthday party of a big shot like Chu Gucheng was more important.

All the famous people in the Primary Hope Civilisation had been invited, and they would not dare turn down Chu Gucheng.

After all, Chu Gucheng was one of the most powerful individuals in the Primary Hope Civilisation. He could easily destroy worlds.

Even some of the Beast Races from the Endless Beasts Territory had been invited.

The Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation were shocked that Land of Celestial Suffering had openly invited so many guests. All sorts of speculation were formed.

Some were worried that it might be a trap.

Chu Gucheng knew that the Land of Celestial Suffering was in a terrible situation, but he still invited so many people. It was apparent that he had an ulterior motive. He might try to pull a trick on those Leaders.

Some also suspected that Chu Gucheng was trying to form an alliance.

He was trying to use his birthday party to form an alliance with some Forces to get through the crisis.

Other than that, for his 130th epoch birthday party, he had also invited the most powerful people from other Civilisations, which included the Rising Dawn Civilisation, Ephemeral Yin True World and others. Those were the strongest Civilisations in the Boundless Expanse.

Chu Gucheng had been to many places in the Boundless Expanse, so he had made many friends.

Now that his birthday was around the corner, the friends he had invited would come.

He intended to show his power and strong will to the other Forces of the Primary Hope Civilisation.

This astounded the Forces of the Primary Hope Civilisation as all sorts of speculation were formed.

At this point, the Beast Court was in an awkward situation. Not only did they not receive any invitation, but the other Beast Clans in the Endless Beasts Territory also showed signs of getting closer to Land of Celestial Suffering.

Chu Gucheng meant to intimidate the Beast Court by using this move.

The Beast Sovereigns of the Beast Court knew that when the Beast Ancestor, Di Li, received news that Chu Gucheng had invited the other Beast Clans from the Endless Beasts Territory, he was furious.

Golden Crow True Flame surged as the universe near the Rogue Abyss was burned to ashes.

It was apparent that Chu Gucheng was doing all he could to turn things around. Just as things were chaotic between the Beast Court and te Land of Celestial Suffering, he invited the other Beast Clan from the Endless Beasts Territory, forcing them to choose a side.

He was disregarding the Beast Court by doing this.

The other Supreme Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation, even Purple Sky Mountain which held some grudges against the Land of Celestial Suffering, did not show a clear stance. They intended to watch the show from the sidelines and reap some benefits. They would not want to take part in the war between the Beast Court and the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Initially, Di Li thought that some Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation had joined hands to pull a trick on the Land of Celestial Suffering. That the Beast Court was used as a chess piece to bring the Land of Celestial Suffering down.

Much to his surprise, the other Forces chose to bide their time. They were so impassive that it was as though this matter had nothing to do with them. It was apparent that they intended to let the Beast Court and the Land of Celestial Suffering clash head-on.

On the other hand, those from the Land of Celestial Suffering were aware of this, but they did not mind it. They were determined to go against the Beast Court to warn the others.

Di Li was infuriated. He immediately blew the Beast Gathering Conch to send an army to the border of the Land of Celestial Suffering.

During this period, the two sides had been clashing violently at the border. The shouting of the soldiers was deafening.

Countless people were battling against each other. Blood dyed the ground red, and corpses were everywhere. A large part of the universe was damaged.

The flames of karma spread from that place and reached the Beast Court and the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Many ancient existences felt that the celestial phenomena became dim and blurred. It was difficult for them to find some clues and look into the future.

The war between the Beast Court and the Land of Celestial Suffering could be considered the most intense in the current epoch of the Primary Hope Civilisation. It had caused countless casualties and karma.

Even existences who were not adept at divination could tell that the Fortuities of the Beast Court and the Land of Celestial Suffering had become turbid. This was not a good sign.

In the Primary Hope Holy Church, a palace stood on a still lake. The building was magnificent and radiated an iridescent light. The sounds of the Sun and the Moon turning around could be heard.

In the middle of the hall was a figure in white clothes. She seemed to be seated on her knees on an ancient translucent mirror.

Her eyes were closed as her hands were placed on the mirror. It seemed that she was deducing something.

The beauty of this woman was surreal. She was like a pearl that radiated a soft glow.

Her white clothes made her look even more attractive. She was demure and elegant. Although her eyes were closed, her face still looked perfect. The way she carried herself was graceful.

Her skin was flawless. Like a piece of celestial jade, there was no imperfection.

Just then, the tranquillity of the hall was shattered. A maidservant flew into the hall and reported, “Saintess, the King of the Land of Celestial Suffering is here again. He’s accompanied by an old man in a golden robe.”

The Primary Hope Saintess furrowed her brows. She seemed displeased by the disruption.

Still, she opened her eyes and said calmly, “How many times has he come to this place already? Tell him that I’m at the most critical moment of my secluded cultivation. I won’t see anyone.”

Although her voice was calm, she could hardly conceal her anger.

It was Chu Gucheng’s fourth time visiting her. After she turned him down three times previously, she thought that he would understand her stance.

Much to her surprise, he just refuses to give up, and had come to her place again!

[Is he so determined to see me?]

“Saintess, it’s not Chu Gucheng who wants to see you this time. It’s the old man in a golden robe by his side.” Said the maidservant hesitantly.

“Well, an old man in a golden robe?” The Primary Hope Saintess frowned.

She went through all the people she knew in her mind and thought of someone. [Could it be Elder Jin? Why would he come to the Primary Hope Civilisation?]

This was giving her a headache as she thought of a particular figure.

She let out a sigh almost imperceptibly and extended her hand to rub the centre of her brows, trying to unknit them.

If the person was indeed Elder Jin, she would have to see him.

Back then, it was Elder Jin who predicted that the darkness would come again. Worried that it had something to do with the remnants of the Black Disaster, he sent a message to inform the Primary Hope Holy Church about it.

Upon receiving Elder Jin’s message, she became vigilant and used the Mirror of Reincarnation to work out the fated trajectory of the future.

The Mirror of Reincarnation could be used to look at the past and predict the future.

During this period, she had been using the mirror in an attempt to seek the silver lining for the Primary Hope Holy Church when the calamity struck.

If the fate trajectory was never rewritten, the future shown in the Mirror of Reincarnation was bound to happen.

In other words, it would not be long before Land of Celestial Suffering got destroyed.
