A large number of soldiers showed up from the other end of the Spacetime passageway like a black tide splashing on the shore, causing the universe to tremble.

Although they were far away, the sounds of their steps across the Starry Sky were deafening and intimidating.

Countless beings from the Land of Celestial Suffering looked up at the sky in horror.

The sky had become transparent. A tremendous number of soldiers were arriving, and behind them were brightly lit domain-breaking ancient battleships, which carried with them Celestial Mist while exuding an ancient aura.

These soldiers were unimaginably powerful. They were made up of different Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation. They so mighty, so numerous, they could destroy all the enemies in this world and no one would be able to stop them.

“We’re doomed…” In the capital of the Land of Celestial Suffering, all of them turned pale, looking fearful and despondent. No one could stop these mighty soldiers, not even when the Land of Celestial Suffering was at the peak of its power.

    “Why is this even happening?”

“Why have so many soldiers arrived all of a sudden? When did the Land of Celestial Suffering collaborate with the remnants of the Black Disaster? We’ve done nothing wrong…”

Many were shocked and in disbelief.

Countless fell into a despairing state. The idea of resistance never even crossed their minds. These were the most powerful expert from different Forces in the Primary Hope Civilisation, led by the Primary Hope Holy Church. No Force in this world could fend them off.

On the other end of the Spacetime passageway, the leaders of different Forces had arrived. They stood on the same ancient battleships while looking at the Land of Celestial Suffering.

The Ancestor of the Primary Hope Holy Church, Xi Yin, was at the bow with an emotionless face. Her hair had been tied into a bun and there was a phoenix-shaped jade pendant on her neck. She was calmly watching everything.

Beside her, Gu Changge placed his hands behind his back and looked on with interest.

“Those from the Land of Celestial Suffering had asked for it. They insisted on collaborating with the remnants of the Black Disaster, and this is their retribution. We don’t need to sympathise with them.”

The Early Ancestor of the Jing Family, Jing Tianyuan, shook his head and sighed while looking at these despondent people.

The leader from Towering Divine Cave was an Elder in the Ancestral Dao Realm. He nodded upon hearing that. “We’ve always felt that those from the Land of Celestial Suffering are too ambitious. Much to our surprise, they’ve secretly collaborated with the remnants of the Black Disaster. The so-called Ardent Ruins Cave is probably a fabricated name. We’ve never heard of a Force like that.”

“Indeed. I’ve never heard of the name Ardent Ruins Cave either. This kind of Force probably doesn’t exist in the first place. I reckon that Chu Gucheng had lied at the birthday banquet at that time to fool everyone.” Jing Tianyuan nodded.

The leaders of different Forces had gathered. They were followed by a massive number of soldiers while heading to the Land of Celestial Suffering through created Spacetime passageways.

This gathering was horrifying. There were around five Ancestral Dao Realm experts, and Xi Yin of the Primary Hope Holy Church and Gu Changge had not been included.

Upon receiving the Primary Hope Order to deal with the Land of Celestial Suffering, all Forces were greatly shocked. Despite that, they still quickly came together.

Once the Land of Celestial Suffering was destroyed, their ample resources would be free for anyone to get their hands on.

Now, some smaller Forces had seized the chance to rob the places near the borders of the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Naturally, those from the Land of Celestial Suffering were facing a huge crisis, so they did not have the power to handle these matters.

“Although those from the Land of Celestial Suffering have collaborated with the remnants of the Black Disaster, most of the people here are innocent. Please tell all of your Disciples not to harm them.” Xi Yin said.

Her gaze penetrated the Spacetime passageway and glanced at the territories of the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Gu Changge nodded and said, “My thoughts exactly. Although those from the Land of Celestial Suffering are guilty, the common men are innocent. Chu Gucheng had sacrificed countless of people when battling against me previously. I don’t have the heart to see even more people suffer unnecessarily.”

“You’re so kind-hearted, Young Master Gu. We’ll restrain our Disciples so that no innocent people will be harmed. You could’ve destroyed the Land of Celestial Suffering, but you didn’t have the heart to slaughter the innocent and decided to leave. We admire your kindness. In comparison, their King, Chu Gucheng. had no qualms about ending the lives of his people. His actions were too cruel.”

An Ancestral Dao Realm expert from Bright Light Temple nodded in agreement. He was full of admiration for Gu Changge.

The leaders of other Forces acknowledged his statement to be true.

Chu Gucheng of the Land of Celestial Suffering had claimed that Gu Changge had something to do with the remnants of the Black Disaster, but they were not fools. They could see which party was more likely to have collaborated with the remnants of the Black Disaster.

Xi Yin stole a glance at Gu Changge. As a Disciple of Xi Nu, she was a senior figure among these people. However, the Ancestral Dao Realm experts in that place seemed respectful of Gu Changge. They treated him like he was the leader.

Certainly, she knew that it was because Gu Changge had previously clashed with the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Following the epic battle, Gu Changge became famous among these people. It was inconceivable.

Anyway, this was how the world worked. The weak would be devoured, and the powerful would be respected wherever they were.

Although Xi Yin had confidence in her power, she knew she was not a match for Gu Changge.

The happening in the Land of Celestial Suffering caught the attention of many people in the Primary Hope Civilisation.

It had only been a month since the epic battle took place previously. Those from the Land of Celestial Suffering had suffered immense losses. How were they supposed to go against this alliance of Forces, which was even mightier than the Beast Court and Purple Sky Mountain combined?

All of them felt the outcome was already obvious. Those from the Land of Celestial Suffering were bold enough to confine the Primary Hope Saintess. The outcome was preordained the moment they did that.

It was unless those from the Land of Celestial Suffering could ensure no one would discover the truth by leaving no traces behind.

Finally, the soldiers passed through the Spacetime passageway and arrived at the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Chu Gucheng, who was clad in golden armour, was at the ready. The cloak behind him swayed with the wind. His powerful aura filled every part of the world. An illusory Dragon flew around the universe and growled. He looked like an Immortal.

Behind him were his subordinates like Eight-Headed True God and the others. They were ready to clash with the enemies.

The Star Kings, Divine Generals, and ministers were in the capital, solemnly looking up at the sky which was full of soldiers.

Powerful experts from the House of Talents left their residences and watched everything in shock.

The dark sky seemed ready to descend at any moment. The clouds surged and concealed everything, causing the entire world to dim. It was like doomsday as the calamity had struck them.

The capital of the Land of Celestial Suffering was like a galaxy which was surrounded by Stars filled with life. However, they looked as insignificant as specks of dust in front of this army.

The Ancestral Dao Realm experts among the soldiers possessed powers that exceeded the limits of this world. They could easily destroy the capital with only one hand.

“Sir, the Land of Celestial Suffering will surely be destroyed today, and no one can stop it. We’d better not…” Behind Chu Heng were the worried Han Feng and the others.

“I’ve been nurtured in the Land of Celestial Suffering. Regardless, the Eldest Prince has paid the price for what he did. I can’t abandon the Land of Celestial Suffering at this point.” Chu Heng said firmly and shook his head to stop their persuasion.

Han Feng and the others sighed. Many parted their lips but did not utter a word. They had been following Chu Heng for a long time. All of them could see that the Land of Celestial Suffering stood no chance of survival.

Faced with this alliance of different Forces, no one in the Primary Hope Civilisation would be able to fend them off. They were doomed.

“Sir, you’re too blindly loyal…” Chu Bai smiled helplessly and bitterly. He did not know how to persuade Chu Heng.

Old Lady Xing Ying from Ardent Ruins Cave stood in the palace. With her silver eyes, she looked impassively at the sky.

“What nonsense are they sprouting? How can they claim that we’re remnants of the Black Disaster!?” She sneered.

Outside the capital, many soldiers were coming together following Chu Heng’s order. Although they had suffered immense losses in the war against the Beast Court and Purple Sky Mountain, they still had billions of soldiers who could go to the battlefield.

From different universes, many lords, generals, and side branches of the Chu Family had sent plenty of cultivators to the capital.

“Stop saying we’ve collaborated with the remnants of the Black Disaster. We’ve never done that, and we won’t let you destroy the Land of Celestial Suffering.”

“We’ll live or die with the Land of Celestial Suffering.”

    “Kill them!”

Deafening growls came at those people from distant Spacetime.

Regardless of their cultivation levels, waves of people were shouting.

“Chu Gucheng, release the Primary Hope Saintess and we’ll spare the innocent residents of the Land of Celestial Suffering.” Suddenly, an icy voice was heard coming from the clouds and reverberating across the world.

Xi Yin showed up as her clothes and black hair swayed with the wind. The icy aura coming from her made the universe tremble. She stood on the ancient battleship and looked down at the Land of Celestial Suffering.

“If all of you are stubborn and unrepentant, you’ll die alongside the Land of Celestial Suffering today.”

“The remnants of the Black Disaster are a menace, and Chu Gucheng has collaborated with them. Not only has he tried to take control of the Heavenly Dao Authority, but he’s also intended to rule over the entire Primary Hope Civilisation. We have every reason to destroy him.”

Beside Xi Yin were the leaders of different Forces. They showed up and looked dispassionately at the people of the Land of Celestial Suffering, giving them an ultimatum.

“You’re the winner and I’m the loser here. I cannot defend myself for causing the Land of Celestial Suffering to descend into such a state. We’ve indeed worked together to confine the Primary Hope Saintess. It’s unfortunate that this matter is exposed so soon. I’ve lost the gamble…” Chu Gucheng hovered above the palace and guffawed, looking like he had gone mad. A light radiated from his deep gaze.

Since those from the Primary Hope Holy Church had issued the Primary Hope Order, they surely had solid evidence to prove that the real The Primary Hope Saintess had been confined by those from the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Chu Xinyue was not the real The Primary Hope Saintess. Although her appearance, aura, and bearing were similar to those of the Primary Hope Saintess, her identity would be exposed once she made a move. Therefore, Chu Gucheng decided not to keep hiding the truth. He came clean to everyone.

“What!?” Many ministers found the matter inconceivable. They initially thought that those from the Primary Hope Holy Church were wrongly accusing them of a crime they had never committed, but when they heard Chu Gucheng’s words, they were rooted to the spot.

It seemed that Chu Gucheng had indeed confined the Primary Hope Saintess and let someone else disguise herself as the latter.

“Th-This can’t be true!” Chu Heng was flabbergasted, not expecting Chu Gucheng to have the guts to take the gamble that might make him lose everything.

If he won the game, the Land of Celestial Suffering would reach a greater heights and they might even be able to rule over the entire Primary Hope Civilisation. However, if he lost the game, the consequences would be disastrous.

“Well, since you have the guts to do that, you have to pay the price.” Xi Yin donned an icy expression. The Primary Hope Holy Church had been around for a long time. They were one of the strongest Force in the Primary Hope Civilisation.

Ever since its establishment, no other Force had dared to challenge them like this. Not only did Chu Gucheng confine the real Primary Hope Saintess, but he also told someone else to disguise herself as the Primary Hope Saintess to fool everyone.

If Xi Yin had never been roused, the reputation of the Primary Hope Holy Church would have been ruined, especially when Chu Gucheng intended to marry the Primary Hope Saintess to form a political alliance with them.

This was absurd and inconceivable. Chu Gucheng must be out of his mind to even do that.

The war broke out with a *boom*. There was not even a warning.

Xi Yin was furious. A fair hand which radiated a celestial glow descended from the ancient battleship and covered the entire sky. Principles coiled around her fingers. The moment the attack struck, mountains fell apart and the ground cracked. The destruction of the stars sent repercussions across the entire the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Everyone were astounded and fearful. It was doomsday and none of them could stay alive.

The soldiers of the Land of Celestial Suffering growled and charged forward, but they exploded into blood mists following Xi Yin’s attack.

Even Dao Realm experts did not dare to go against her. They were terrified.

With a boom, those behind Xi Yin descended in various directions like a storm. They were beings of all cultivation levels. As they made a move, the universe shivered.

The repercussions of the war spread in all directions, causing many Great Universes to explode.

Countless figures were sent flying away. Massive hands moved around to tear everything apart.

Powerful Artifacts such as scrolls, divine furnaces, bronze cauldrons, and heavenly umbrellas fell and covered the universe. Everything in the world was shattered and turned into dust.

Beings like Immortal Kings and Quasi-Immortal Emperors instantly lost their lives, which surprised no one.

The outcome of the war would not be surprising. Even if all the experts from the Land of Celestial Suffering were combined, they would not be a match for this alliance, not to mention that the other party had core members of different Races and quite a number of Ancestral Dao Realm experts.

An atmosphere of despondency and fear loomed over the Land of Celestial Suffering. Many universes were occupied and a lot of galaxies were destroyed by the repercussions of this war.

The borders were in chaos. Many Forces seized the chance to invade them from all directions.

Gu Changge looked calmly at everything. There was not a hint of emotion behind his gaze.

The eventuality of the Land of Celestial Suffering was preordained. It was just a matter of them before they were destroyed.

[Once the Land of Celestial Suffering is destroyed, I’ll be able to take control of the Primary Hope Civilisation.]

He swept a glance over the territories of the Land of Celestial Suffering. People of different Forces were clashing with the experts from the Land of Celestial Suffering.

Presently, Chu Gucheng was dealing with many enemies while covered in blood.

Although he had gotten through his Eighth Decay Tribulation, he was not at the peak of his power. He was at a disadvantage when exchanging blows with these opponents and was soon sent flying away while spitting blood.

Blood was streaming from Chu Gucheng’s mouth, nose, and eyes. His hair was dishevelled, and his armour was no longer intact.

He saw many of his subordinates besieged and destroyed by the enemies. They were powerless against them.

Cruel slaughters were happening everywhere. The entire capital radiated Divine Lights. Many figures pounced on the enemies but they soon lost their lives.

He was furious at the merciless killings, but there was nothing he could do about it. Even his Master, the Dharma Sage, went to clash with the enemies while still badly injured.

“It’s because of you that we’ve fallen into such a state…” Chu Gucheng was full of resentment and wrath. He saw Gu Changge hovering in the sky, watching everything with calmness.
