Ling Yuling and the Primary Hope Saintess returned to the Imperial Celestial Palace. Other than the two of them, no one else knew what they had talked about.

In the following days, the Imperial Celestial Palace was bustling with noise.

Rays of light and flying boats traversed across the universes and arrived here. For the Forces that were not there, they quickly sent some important figures to this place to discuss the details of the Primary Hope Covenant upon learning the news.

Besides that, some fluctuations were felt coming from those Forbidden Areas and territories beyond the Boundless Expanse. Some youths would either stand on clouds or ride on golden celestial beasts to come and pass on their Masters’ words.

There were many chasms at the end of the sky. Many beings who carried Divine Lights arrived.

They were from the Divine Dao Civilisation.

This was a shocking incident across the Primary Hope Civilisation. Many from different True Worlds and Civilisations were paying close attention to these changes.

Ling Yuling, the Elders of the Imperial Celestial Palace, and the others had been discussing the details of the Primary Hope Covenant. At the same time, they had been trying to deduce the future of the Primary Hope Civilisation to improve the Covenant.

Meanwhile, in a Spacetime cemetery within the Boundless Expanse, old and broken stone tablets had been scattered across Spacetime. Broken universes formed a burial site.

Many ancient and bloody coffins were placed in those pits. Some of them were dilapidated as Death Qi permeated the place.

These coffins had been around for countless epochs. Some had been opened, but there was nothing inside other than some weathered clothes.

A beautiful woman was holding a glowing divine jade with a frown, trying to break through the layers of Restrictions in front of her.

She was seated cross-legged as the Power of Spacetime swirled around her.

As she breathed, intertwining divine light streamed towards her. She was like an enlightened celestial being who could live on mists as described in legends.

Her face was blurry as it was covered in mist. Only her eyes that were as bright as Moons could be seen clearly. As for her golden dress, it radiated a golden glow as it swayed with the wind.

“The Eternal Ruins left behind by the Eternal Prime God is supposed to be here. Why can’t I get into it? Is there anything wrong with the key refined from the five Eternal Divine Artifacts?” The alluring woman muttered to herself as she infused her energy into the divine jade in her hand.

A horrifying aura surged from the divine jade and shot forward like an ocean, trying to destroy the layers of the Restrictions.

However, regardless of how hard she tried, she could not shatter them.

Instead, the backlash came at her in waves, causing her blood and Qi to undulate. She could not stand and almost collapsed to the ground.

The energy she had infused into the divine jade soon dissipated.

“I’ve been to many Spacetime cemeteries, ancient ruins, and god forsaken places, but it’s my first time encountering this situation. Is the Eternal Prime God still alive?” The alluring woman furrowed her brows. While recuperating, she looked at the layers of restrictions before her eyes.

She was Luo Xiangjun, who had acquired the Five Eternal Divine Artifacts from Gu Changge and refined them into a key to be used to open up the Eternal Ruins.

After she made the key and located the Eternal Ruins, she came to this place, where she had been stuck for many years. In fact, over the past thousand years, she had tried all sorts of ways to unlock the Restrictions and enter the Eternal Ruins.

All attempts failed though. She had even used the Artifact given to her by Gu Changge, but it was still useless! Now, she could not even break free from this place!

Before coming here, she had never thought that things would become so troublesome.

The Eternal Prime God had been dead for countless years, and even the Bloodline of the Godly Eternal Clan was thin as only a few of their Clansmen existed in the Immortal Spirit Civilisation.

Nevertheless, why were the Restrictions left behind by the Eternal Prime God still so powerful after so many epochs? Even an Ancestral Dao Realm expert could not enter the place and leave as they pleased.

Back then, she had confidently made a promise to Gu Changge that she would quickly open up the Eternal Ruins and get her hands on its treasures.

But now, it had become difficult for her to get out of this place.

She was worried that Gu Changge might think she had taken all the valuable treasures in the Eternal Ruins and fled.

“According to the records I’ve found, the Eternal Prime God was a being who had gone through at least Nine Decay Tribulations. He was close to the Last Stage. But, if he isn’t dead, the so-called Eternal Ruins might only be a rumour. Still, there are Five Eternal Divine Artifacts and I’ve refined them into a key. Just what is wrong about this whole story?” Luo Xiangjun frowned, unable to solve the mystery.

If she had known this would be the outcome, she wouldn’t have dared to try to open up the Eternal Ruins, given her weak strength.

Then, she sighed and got to her feet to wander around this Spacetime cemetery. She had to come up with a solution. She did not want to be stuck here forever. Things would truly become troublesome if Gu Changge formed a misunderstanding.

Grey winds came from distant Spacetime. A putrid smell permeated the place, carrying an icy aura. This Spacetime cemetery was not in a fixed location. It would keep moving as space and time changed. Even if Luo Xiangjun managed to escape, she would not know where she was.

In the Boundless Expanse, there were billions of Spacetimes and countless universes. No one knew if there was an end. Perhaps when she got out of this place, she would be far away from Immortal Spirit Civilisation, and millions of years would pass before she met Gu Changge again.

“I’ve never gone back on my word. I hope he won’t get me wrong.” Luo Xiangjun stepped forward and turned into a golden light to wander around this lifeless Spacetime cemetery, trying to find a way to break free.

According to the records she had read, the reason the Eternal Prime God passed away was that he had acquired a forbidden book that must not be revealed to the world.

People called the forbidden book the ‘Method to Transcendence.

Luo Xiangjun had been looking for the Eternal Ruins because of the Method to Transcendence.

She knew that given her aptitude and capabilities, she would be stuck in the Ancestral Dao Realm forever even if she came across some amazing opportunities.

The Method to Transcendence would be her last chance. If she wanted to change her fate, she had to find the book.

Suddenly, a deafening *boom* was heard. In front of Luo Xiangjun, a massive star suddenly exploded and turned into dust.

A gigantic bony hand suddenly extended from that Spacetime. This Spacetime descended into darkness as the hand came at her.

“Why is there a living being here?” Luo Xiangjun was flabbergasted, not expecting someone to make a move against her at this point.

She could not make sense of what was going on. Her figure bulged as she extended her fair hand. Principles of the Dao Realm shattered Spacetime as her hand clashed with the bony hand of the opponent.

The clash was so intense that many stars and universes were destroyed. Energy surged and Spacetime fell apart.

Luo Xiangjun grunted in pain. Her arm had turned numb and blood streamed out of her wound. Her fingers almost broke into pieces.

She found it inconceivable. Although she was not the most powerful cultivator below the Ancestral Dao Realm, rarely anyone would be a match for her. Yet, she was at a disadvantage when exchanging blows with that massive bony hand.

[How is this possible? I’ve been here for a thousand years, but I’ve never felt the presence of any living being. Why did a being who is as powerful as an Ancestral Dao Realm expert appear here out of nowhere? Is that the Eternal Prime God? Is he still alive?] Luo Xiangjun hurriedly flew away to avoid the attack, but the gigantic hand relentlessly followed her.

Regardless of how she kept shifting between virtual and reality, it was useless. The hand easily targeted her and struck her. She fell to the ground and it cracked.

She sprayed out a mouthful of blood. Although her aura had weakened, she still got up with difficulty. With a solemn expression, she looked warily at the enormous hand.

“Who are you?” she questioned coldly.

“Well, it’s thanks to your provision for the past thousand years that I can finally awaken. Don’t panic. I was just trying to test my strength. The body I’m using belongs to an enemy who had tried to kill me. This body doesn’t have much energy left, but it’s more than enough to deal with you. So, you’d better not go against me. Since you’ve contributed to rousing me from slumber, I won’t make things difficult for you.”

An ancient voice suddenly reverberated across this Spacetime cemetery. All the stone tablets trembled as though resonating with the voice.

Although Luo Xiangjun had formed some speculation, she was still flabbergasted upon seeing that.

“Who are you? The Eternal Prime God?” She asked solemnly.

A laugh escaped from the ancient being as he said, “You’re pretty clever, for you know who I am.”

“In that case, the Eternal Ruins, it does not exist, right? It’s a trap you’ve set up, is it not?” Even if Luo Xiangjun was fool, she should know by now that there were no Eternal Ruins.

The Eternal Prime God had intentionally spread those rumours, for he had expected this day to come. That was why he had set up a trap so that someone would come and rouse him from his slumber.

It was no wonder she had felt something was off when she tried to break those Restrictions. The energy she had infused into them would quickly vanish.

Now, the Eternal Prime God had intentionally said such a thing and hurt her to intimidate her.

That was because he had just awakened, so he had not returned to the peak of his power. The power he could use was limited. Or, he had actually been killed, his body destroyed, so he had no choice but to settle for this method, hoping to be resurrected later.

The so-called Eternal Ruins was merely a trap he used to lure someone who would help bring him back to life here.

After figuring everything out, Luo Xiangjun donned a dark expression. To achieve her goal, she had looked at countless books and gone to many dangerous places, almost losing her life. In the end, it was nothing more than a lie.

All of those ancient Last Stage experts were cunning to the extreme.

“Smart. You’ve managed to come this far and acquire my acknowledgement. I’m glad you’ve figured everything out so soon. I know what you want, and that thing is indeed in my hands. I lost my life back then because of it. If you want it, I can give it to you. But, before that, you have to take a Dao Oath and help me do something.”

The Eternal Prime God’s voice reverberated across this Spacetime again. He had seen through Luo Xiangjun’s thoughts.

“Do I even have a choice at this point?” she said coldly.

Although the other party could only use power equivalent to the Ancestral Dao Realm, it was more than enough to deal with her.

“You sure are clever and tactful. The Restrictions has been removed. You’ll help me get out of this place and look for descendants who have my Bloodline. Besides that, you can’t reveal anything about me. I’ll fall asleep for some time. When I recover, I’ll give you the thing you want.”

The person did not give Luo Xiangjun any chance to hesitate. As soon as he finished speaking, a ray of dark gold light appeared from the depths of the cemetery and entered the divine jade in Luo Xiangjun’s hand.

The divine jade instantly dazzled, and its surface became even more translucent. However, it soon became dim again as though a Soul had been kept inside it.

Luo Xiangjun watched everything with dispassion. She had the urge to toss the divine jade away, but she stopped herself from doing that.

She had acquired this divine jade from the tomb of a powerful cultivator from ancient times. It was invaluable and contained immense and pure energy. Any Ancestral Dao Realm expert would be tempted to get their hands on it.

Nevertheless, the Eternal Prime God had absorbed all of its energy. Although he had fallen asleep, he could awaken at any moment. So, Luo Xiangjun did not dare to disobey his order. She did not believe what he had said.

The Eternal Prime God was besieged and killed because of the Method to Transcendence. If so, would he really give such a treasure to her?

“It seems that I have to go back to Immortal Spirit Civilisation to find the people with his Bloodline.” Luo Xiangjun did not have a chance to consider anything else. Her most important task was to survive and get rid of this trouble.

She had been to many Civilisations and True Worlds. In the end, she had only found the descendants of the Godly Eternal Clan in the Immortal Spirit Civilisation. It seemed that she could only return to the Immortal Spirit Civilisation.

At the same time, in an area in the Primary Hope Civilisation where it was filled with a silver light and immense Power of Faith, Old Man Sai Ya and the Old Daoist Priest, who were respectively from the Rare Yin Legion and the Decay Legion, stood respectfully in front of a Heavenslayers Temple.

Gu Changge’s back was against them as he closed his eyes and stood in the Heavenslayers Temple in silence.

Threads of the Power of Fortuity surrounded him, forming a massive web, which allowed him to find out about the prayers and thoughts of the people.
