“Hold nothing back! All of you, go together! We need to finish him off!”

After a brief silence, one furious roar set the signal, and those first two or three dozen experts who had encircled Qin Yichen all surged forward at once, powerful Yuan Energy fluctuations erupting explosively from their hands.

While Qin Yichen had emerged without a scratch from their combined assault, they reasoned that he must have employed some special technique or method to manage it.

And that someone who relied on such tricks still had the cheek to mock them with those words, that was something this proud and haughty group of experts simply could not tolerate.

    *Whoosh!*

But the very moment they moved, the figure atop the summit stamped down with one foot, leaving a residual afterimage standing in place, as his actual body vanished from sight with startling abruptness.

This was the phenomenon that occurred when speed was pushed to its absolute limit, beyond what the naked eye could follow.

    “Be careful!”

Seeing this, countless experts felt their pupils contract sharply, a wave of alarm rolling through them.

Every person present was of extraordinary cultivation. And yet even they could not track him with their eyes. To what degree of speed did one need to attain for this to happen?

Suddenly, a Late Stage Martial Ancestor his pupils shrink. An icy face appeared before him without warning, as if materialising from thin air, like a phantom from the void.

    “He’s here!”

Before the words had even fully left that Late Stage Martial Ancestor’s mouth, he felt an unstoppable, colossal force slam into him.

    *Bang!*

A dull, heavy sound rang out, and the expert’s body erupted apart in an instant, red and white raining downward.

    “So fast!”

Though they had been on guard, he had still managed to strike down one of their numbers in a split second that none of them had even perceived. This jolted the hearts of the remaining experts.

And very quickly, they realised that the nightmare had only just begun.

Within that bloody mist of crimson and white that had yet to fall, the slender figure vanished once more.

    *Bang!*

When Qin Yichen’s figure reappeared, another expert had been blasted into a cloud of blood mist.

    “Argh!”

“Damned brat, have the courage to come out and fight me openly, face to face!”

That figure moved like an angel of death, and each time he appeared, one expert would perish without fail.

That speed was such that no defence could anticipate it, and that terrifying explosive force was the stuff of despair.

In barely a moment’s time, nearly half of those two or three dozen experts had met brutal deaths. The scarlet blood mist hung without dispersing, dyeing the sky red.

Staring at that sky, which now resembled something from the depths of the underworld, countless onlookers felt a chill crawl up their spines.

However, at this juncture, the remaining experts banded tightly together, causing the strategy of picking them off individually was no longer viable.

That lethal figure finally appeared once more within the line of sight of the crowd.

By now, Qin Yichen’s robe was soaked entirely with fresh blood. The thick, viscous liquid dripped slowly from his sleeves, falling drop by drop. Even his face and hair were streaked with vivid crimson, and beneath all that blood, a pair of cold, piercing eyes gleamed with a light that chilled those who looked upon them to their very core.

    “A Demon! He’s a Demon!”

“Damn it! He kills without so much as blinking!”

He had slaughtered so many, and yet not a flicker of reaction crossed his face, as though he had done nothing more significant than wring the necks of a few chickens, as though it were the most trivial thing in the world.

Looking upon Qin Yichen, a deep and genuine fear rose unbidden in the hearts of countless people.

And at this point, quite a few of them finally came back to their senses.

He had broken free from the pursuit and encirclement of over a hundred experts.

And moreover, along the way, there had been no telling how many experts who had moved against him had died at his hands.

He was most certainly not the type to show mercy.

Perhaps countless people had been blinded by that Pill Formula, and the rumoured fortuitous opportunity, to the point their greed simply overwhelming their judgement.

Nearly everyone had assumed Qin Yichen was an easy target, that if they only stopped him, the Pill Formula and whatever tremendous opportunity he carried would be theirs for the taking.

But now, at last, they understood. He, who had crossed nearly the entire Silent Forest almost by himself, was an absolute, cold-blooded killer who did not bat an eyelid when killing.

“Don’t give him a moment to breathe!”

“Kill him! Whoever cuts off his head earns the greatest credit!”

Yet the deterrence of Qin Yichen’s savage display a moment ago was not enough to extinguish the greed burning in those experts’ hearts.

As roar after roar rang out, a sky-blotting tide of silhouettes came crashing towards Qin Yichen all at once, and torrents of powerful Yuan Energy fluctuations churned the clouds and shifted the Heavens.

“Whoever dares to step forward, dies.”

The cold killing intent packed into Qin Yichen’s sweeping gaze was absolute, his voice falling like the pronouncement of death itself, quiet and unhurried, resonating through Heaven and Earth.

“And what can you alone possibly do about it?!”

“I refuse to believe you still have the strength!”

“He must be at the end of his rope, putting on a fierce face to bluff us!”

    “Charge!”

Though a small number of them faltered, the flood of furious challengers never ceased.

In just a few breaths’ time, Qin Yichen was surrounded by several hundred silhouettes on every side.

    *Boom!*

Expert after expert unleashed powerful techniques without mercy, throwing themselves into the slaughter against Qin Yichen with ferocious abandonment. The whole spectacle looked very much as though they intended to tear him apart piece by piece.

Faced with this swarm no different from a plague of locusts, Qin Yichen’s eyes were filled with nothing but indifference.

At the Early Stage Martial Ancestor Realm, he had already been capable of cutting down Peak Stage Martial Ancestor geniuses. And now, his strength had nearly doubled, and over these ten-odd days, he had brought the Yuan Energy that had surged explosively into him under complete and total control.

With his current strength, he had few rivals within the Martial Ancestor Realm.

Though these experts before him were brilliant young prodigies from various Races, not one of them could stand against him directly.

And moreover, every last one of these fellows had set their sights on what he carried, and not one of them had even entertained the thought of leaving him alive.

Given circumstances like these, Qin Yichen had not the slightest inclination towards mercy. Furthermore, these people were not of the Human Race, so killing them weighed nothing on his conscience. If anything, cutting down a few more young geniuses of the other Races might well be considered something of a service to the Human Race.

    *Bang!*

    *Boom!*

Violent shockwave after violent shockwave resounded without cease throughout the Thunderous Blessings Mountain Range, and even the countless ferocious Demonic Beasts throughout the range trembled with apprehension beneath those shockwaves.

Agonised cries rang out continuously, and silhouette after silhouette plummeted downward at regular intervals.

In barely a moment’s time, the ground where Qin Yichen had stood was an utter scene of carnage. At least thirty-four corpses of experts had piled up below, and pooled blood had gathered and flowed together into a small stream, a sight so terrifying it made the very soul recoil.
