Gu Changge only brought Yao Yao to the headquarters of the Heavenslayers Alliance in the Primary Hope Civilisation half a year later. He had stayed in the Prosperous Dao True World during this period.
The Green Mountain Village remained the same. It had not changed much since he left previously. It was just that the current villagers were the descendants of the people he used to know.
Su Qingge, who had been living a reclusive life, still worked on the farm every day. She rarely interfered in worldly affairs.
The last time Gu Changge returned to the Prosperous Dao True World, he had secretly left behind a Dao Seed in her body. He did not inform her about this, though.
She was sick of constantly cultivating, trying to ascend. So, she now allowed herself to age, hoping to die a natural death one day.
However, Gu Changge knew that she was worried she would grow old and frail in front of him, that her body would eventually turn into a skeleton.
Naturally, he would not allow the people closest to him to die.
Life in the Green Mountain Village was simple. They would walk around the area in the morning and return home in the evening.
The weather was usually lovely. Birds could be heard chirping among the mountains.
When the weather was gloomy, the mountains and forests would be covered in a mist. Gu Changge would sit back on the rattan chair in front of the tile-roofed house and squinted his eyes. His mind would go blank during that time. He was like a tired bird which eventually returned to the forest.
He did not expect himself to fall asleep for the entire day.
When he awakened, the sky was clear. In front of the house, the air smelled of earth and grass after the rain. Su Qingge was seated beside him and looking tenderly at him. She had placed his head on her thigh while rubbing the centre of his brows.
“You must’ve been tired over the years, Young Master,” she muttered while sounding concerned. “It seems that you have never properly rested.”
Gu Changge smiled but did not dwell on this topic. He did not tell Su Qingge about what had happened in the Boundless Expanse over the years.
Since she was sick of the cultivation world, which was full of lies and trickery, he wouldn’t want to drag her into this again. He wouldn’t want to tell her news about it either.
She could be at ease when she was not bothered by worldly affairs.
During his stay in the Green Mountain Village, Su Qingge would share her experiences over the years with him. She would talk about the birds she had come across and the plants she had seen. Gu Changge thought she would find this kind of life boring, but he was surprised by her current state of mind.
She genuinely loved living in this place. She seemed to have become one with nature. She felt that every speck of dust, every leaf, every blade of grass, every bird that passed above her, and every spider which built a web in her house were complete life forms on their own. They would go through sadness as well as happiness.
She could feel the undulation of their emotions.
Although she stopped cultivating, her experiences were greater than that. In Gu Changge’s opinion, her mental state was truly one with nature.
Perhaps one day, she would realise that what she had achieved during her stay in the Green Mountain Village was what countless cultivators had been chasing all their lives. It was the true Dao of Nature.
During his six-month stay in Prosperous Dao True World, Gu Changge also spent a lot of time and energy on Yao Yao.
After helping her build a supreme foundation, he used Creation Matter and Indomitable Matter to reconstruct her meridians, building an Innate Unmarred Perfection Physique for her.
In just six months, Yao Yao’s cultivation was close to that of a True Daoist. Yin Mei and Wang Zijin, who had watched it happen before their eyes, found it inconceivable.
Naturally, her rapid improvement was also thanks to the memories and experiences of Tao Yao in her mind. So, she did not face much difficulty when breaking through though supposed bottlenecks. She could achieve a breakthrough as easily as drinking water.
She achieved several breakthroughs in just a short time from the Sacred Realm to the Nirvana Realm.
Gu Changge had spent an astonishing amount of resources to fuel her growth.
Under such a circumstance, even an ordinary person could transform into someone entirely new and become a prodigy that most people were not a match for.
However, it was not so easy for her to make it to the Immortal Realm and then the Dao Realm. This could not be achieved by consuming resources. Moreover, it would not be useful to her cultivation if it was merely fueled by resources.
It was a shame that she did not have the same Destiny and Fortuity as those Fortuitous Ones. She was special because she was formed from Tao Yao’s Dao Fruit.
Nevertheless, even Tao Yao did not make it to the Dao Realm when she was at the peak of her power. And Tao Yao’s aptitude was weaker than those descendants of Dao Realm experts.
Gu Changge had another plan to help solve this problem, but he would only carry it out when he returned to the Primary Hope Civilisation.
It was the first time Yin Mei and Wang Zijin saw Gu Changge treating someone so seriously. They found it unbelievable.
Naturally, Yin Mei knew who Yao Yao was. She was there with Gu Xianer on the wedding day.
Before this, Yin Mei was also aware that Gu Changge had taken on a special Disciple in the Upper Realm and she had stayed in the Peach Village.
In other words, Yao Yao was the only Disciple that Gu Changge had officially taken on other than Chan Hongyi. It was only natural that he treated her well.
Nevertheless, Wang Zijin and the others still found it awkward that Gu Changge would do this. After all, he was usually cold and unfeeling.
That said, they were pleased that Yao Yao acknowledged them to be Gu Changge’s Wives. They were fond of this cute girl.
Before Gu Changge left the Prosperous Dao True World, Wang Zijin told him to take her with him. She wanted to venture into the Boundless Expanse. She felt that life in the Prosperous Dao True World was boring. Also, she was curious about the Boundless Expanse, which was said to be boundless.
However, Gu Changge turned her down because she was too weak. He also threatened that if she followed him, he would bury her in a pit for thousands of years.
Wang Zijin was frustrated, but there was nothing she could do about it. She swore that she would surprise Gu Changge when they met again. When she ascended to the Dao Realm, she could leave the Prosperous Dao True World and venture into the Boundless Expanse.
Gu Changge responded with a smile and left the Prosperous Dao True World with Yao Yao. He did not inform anyone else about his departure.
When he returned to the Heavenslayers Alliance, Zhuo Fengxie and the others were surprised to see Yao Yao by his side.
The young woman had flawless skin and she was smart and energetic. She obediently stayed by Gu Changge’s side and clenched his sleeve in silence. With her eyes that looked like obsidians, she sized up the people of Heavenslayers Alliance.
Gu Changge did not explain much to them. He only said that she was his Disciple.
Upon hearing that, people like Zhuo Fengxie, Hun Yuanjun, and Chu Heng were astounded.
They thought that Yao Yao was a Fortuitous One whom Gu Changge had taken away from somewhere, just like Mo Tong. Much to their surprise, the young woman was his Disciple.
It was inconceivable that Gu Changge had taken her on as a Disciple. It was a huge honour.
What was so special about this taciturn young woman? Despite their experiences, they could not tell. They even felt that her aptitude and Fortuity were far weaker than those of Mo Tong, who had been following White Bone Ancestor King.
Anyway, Gu Changge must have his reasons for accepting her to be his Disciple.
Regardless of whether there was anything special about the young woman, they had to take her seriously.
The fact that she was the Disciple of Heavenslayers Alliance Leader was shocking.
She had been obedient when following Gu Changge around during this period. She knew when to speak and when not to. At this moment, she could tell that these beings whose auras were intimidating were respectful of Gu Changge.
The moment Gu Changge told them she was his Disciple, their expressions changed and they started treating her with respect.
She was curious about what Gu Changge had done in the Boundless Expanse over the years. After all, these beings were more terrifying than Drunken Sword Immortal, Ming, and the others from the Prosperous Dao True World.
“Alliance Leader, a woman named Luo Xiangjun came to look for you several months ago. Since you were not around, we told her to wait in a nearby Star Territory.” Then, people like White Bone Ancestor King and Zhuo Fengxie reported to Gu Changge on the developments of the Heavenslayers Alliance during this period.
The Heavenslayers Alliance was the ruling Force in the Primary Hope Civilisation. Most Forces had either submitted to them or been destroyed.
Some Forces in distant areas were resistant and some people were going against them, but that would not affect the Heavenslayers Alliance’s position.
During this period, they had shifted their attention to extending their influence to other Civilisations and True Worlds.
At the same time, they spread their doctrine in nearby Civilisations and True Worlds to attract more followers. More Heavenslayers Temples were built and their teachings were spread.
“Luo Xiangjun? I didn’t expect her to be still alive.”
Gu Changge was slightly taken aback when he heard the name. He then recalled that she was the ‘Robber’ he had come across in the Immortal Spirit Civilisation.
He knew that Luo Xiangjun did not have the guts to run away with the treasures from the Eternal Ruins. Since she never returned after so many years, he speculated that she was dead.
The treasures from the Eternal Ruins were no longer useful to Gu Changge. They could be used to increase the Heavenslayers Alliance’s forces, though. Therefore, he did not care whether Luo Xiangjun was dead or alive, nor did he have any intention of finding out her whereabouts.
“Since she came looking for me, she surely has a request.” After giving it some thought, he decided that there was not a need to tell Luo Xiangjun to come. Since she needed something from him, she must be anxious.
Then, he brought Yao Yao to the residence he used to live in. It was a tranquil courtyard in the valley.
“Peach blossoms.” Yao Yao instantly saw the vivid and beautiful peach blossoms in the valley. When she caught a whiff of the familiar aroma, she was pleasantly surprised.
“You’ll stay here for the time being,” Gu Changge said and took her to the centre.
Suddenly, the sounds of chains dragging across the floor were heard. A slender figure came over when she heard the noise.
Yao Yao saw the graceful woman who appeared out of nowhere, but she was startled when she saw the shackles around her ankles. She did not know how to address her.
“Is he one of your Wives, Master?” Yao Yao asked in a small voice while looking at Gu Changge.
Ling Yuling was surprised when she heard that. Since the young woman called Gu Changge her Master, she might be his Disciple.
“She’s not his Wife. I am…” Suddenly, a playful voice was heard. Mu Yan emerged from behind Ling Yuling with a bright smile.
“She’s such a good-looking little girl. I believe she’ll grow to be as beautiful as I am in the future.” She looked at Yao Yao while having the urge to pinch her flawlessly fair face.
Upon hearing that, Yao Yao nervously hid behind Gu Changge and grabbed his sleeve.
“Ignore them. They’re not my Wives.” Gu Changge shook his head and took her other hand before leading her into the valley.
Yao Yao had grown into a young woman in just six months. Simlar to a teenager. Naturally, he could no longer pick her up like he used to.
For some reason, Yao Yao was relieved upon hearing that.
“What are you talking about? She’s the Disciple you’ve taken on, and I’m your Wife.” Mu Yan followed behind Gu Changge while feeling displeased with his denial.
[Wife?] Ling Yuling was still as graceful and alluring as ever. Her eyes dimmed as she watched Gu Changge and Yao Yao walking past her.
She had intended to come over and greet Gu Changge when she learned of his return. She wanted to take the initiative to resolve the misunderstanding and feud between them.
Much to her surprise, Gu Changge ignored her like she was air. This made her feel bitter and frustrated.
She had been confined to this valley for the past six months. She was reduced to an ordinary person as she had lost all her cultivation. Even walking was difficult for her.
However, this allowed her to calm down and think about many issues. She had a better understanding of why the Primary Hope Civilisation had fallen into this state.
She had some principles she adhered to, but she had tried to look at this matter from Gu Changge’s perspective. If he had done such a thing, would she be magnanimous enough to forgive him, just like what he had done?
If he had repeatedly gone against her and betrayed her trust, and he had even joined forces with others to kill her even though she had saved his life, would she let him off and forgive him?
honestly these few chapter where he returns and we are moving back to gu-changgers doings instead off 95% story telling useless stuff about stuff we will NEVER EVER hear off again, throughout this serious there are over 40% off it that you could literally just straight out remove and it would have ZERO negative on the story.
honestly the best part was the first storyline; second and third was good, then it all become about building a magic big setup which only works bc off how magically good everyone in the world suddenly is.
my main complaint that authors think loyalty last beyound when they can see you or get things from you.
its less than literally 0,001% off the population off the world that even has the ability to actually be loyal beyound this; so all stories being 100% dependent on everyone being 100% unlimited loyal to an mc after seeing them once.
also it is tiresome how mc is the STRONGEST, yet his not the strongest bc always bigger fish..
it destroys the entire feeling off “powerfull” when you have to constantly act and behave like a RAT bc in the end your scared shtless and just hiding trying to be a bigger bug… and then xmachina makes all idea off cultivation pointless as mc defeats people higher realms at top realms (where you literally control universes etc)…
just his power and others powers are so outoffwack now…
also the entire power fights feel like 2 kids hitting each other with a pillow; seriously 2 ancient ancestors fighting on top off a city and the city and area is TOTALLY fine and the description off destroying the river off time, recreating the line off reincarnation blablablablabla completely ridicules wordvormit! with Zero actual impact; the description off fighting LITERALLY means that EVERY is dead ALWAYS on EVERY universe that they fight in… but noooo, not even a hair roffled… stupid…
..
in general i really hate 95% off all story is now without gu, and over 90% off it is pointless info about sht we will never hear about again, literally tried to count if ANY off the 5 pages descriptions off EVERY clan and sect around; and yet we NEVER hear off them again, and all description is 100% pointless and never heard or used.
.. to such an extend that author have forgotten the names off earlier sects and are reusing purple mansion which was 100% destroyed in the first story line… but now they suddenly back same name etc. just in a new spot, and as pointless as every other info given…
..
seriously i think over the last 200 chapters less than 10 has gu-changger in focus; its insane and BOOOOOORING!!!
seriously i think over the last 200 chapters less than 10 has gu-changger in focus; its insane and BOOOOOORING!!!
besides these few “ups i forgot i left everyone for 12.000 YEARS!!!!” which literally means everyone he new that wasnt an insane talent is dead by age before he returns….”
but ignoring that its about freaking time we see su and even more mei in the story…
also the lvl off fking HORNY every 10 chapter now, but horny like a teen and fits so fking badly; i am sure it must be your little brother writting that part, bc quality go to the ground everytime heh.
wish we had stayed in storie 1 line setup, more than powerfull enough and mc was a super cool badass, awesome reaction etc. and then he go +1realm, becomes weak and rat hiding, then +1,same, +1same, +1same and then we go +3-5 and now we write the entire story in top down view; basically skipping what? hundread thousind years or something for a world to actually fully populate etc?.
also all stories which reach a lvl where you can destroy a universe is ridiculessly sht written; mostly bc the authors doesnt have a clue about the power increase needed so your numbers are laughebly stupid and dumb.
like destroying earth, +1 realm doesnt at all mean you can destroy the solar system; even if the realm gives you x1000 times your power, 1000xEarth exploding doesnt even TOUCH the range off the sun from us;
even at a x10.000 power increase PER realm, you don’t even get NEAR destroying the solar system.
so even t 10k increase multiplier it would take you like 7+ realm just to reach the explosive power to take out a solar system.
now we go from solar system to galaxy; even at millions off billions off increase per realm, you aint touching the energy needed to blow up a galaxy;
etc. a universe, what a fking laugheble idea; even at an increase on EVERY realm from qi/ki to max and having multiplier in the billions for EVERY realm (literally around a billion time more increase than sayins going from ss1 to ss3 is not even increasing in these numbers not even near it=
so you can start to think about how ridiculess the idea off their power scale increase is and how patrhetically stupid it sounds with these ridiculess overblown fighting ideas that then does ZERO dmg to the enviroment, its stupid and bad story writting
