As expected, the Desolate Ancient God was no simple lamp to slaughter.

These two Life Dragon King Carcasses had clearly been placed here deliberately, stationed to stand guard over the Valley of Life.

Since the Valley of Life served as the first Map it had seized in the Dragon Domain, the Desolate Ancient God naturally treated it as its main base. Positioning powerful beings to guard its base was entirely within reason.

After all, the Desolate Ancient God was an Ancient God in its own right, and, as Ouyang Bai Ge had mentioned, it had once held the position of God King. Its threat level was not a jot weaker than that of the Slaughter Ancient God.

The Slaughter Ancient God had displayed such overwhelming dominance previously. If the Desolate Ancient God could only control ordinary Dragon Carcasses, its strength would be far too underwhelming.

The Life Dragon King Carcasses before them were among its prized creations. Even a Dragon King like the Bronze Dragon King could suffer a nasty blow if caught off guard.

However, now was not the time to be musing over such things. The most pressing matter was still rescuing the Bronze Dragon King.

Losing such formidable Combat Power to the Desolate Ancient God would be a tremendous disaster.

For one thing, the Bronze Dragon King’s carcass would very likely fall into the Desolate Ancient God’s hands, to be directly wielded and evolved into a Bronze Dragon King Carcass to fight against Lu Fan and the others.

Should the Desolate Ancient God infuse the Bronze Dragon King’s body with enough Ancient God Power, allowing it to perform at its peak strength, or even surpass it, then Lu Fan and the others would truly be in grave danger.

By obtaining the Bronze Dragon King’s carcass, the Desolate Ancient God would, more or less, stand at the peak of the world. In the whole world, save for the Fallen Corpse Ancient God and the Holy Mountain Ancient God, there would likely be no existence left that could match it.

If it then used the Bronze Dragon King Carcass to slay the Shadow Dragon King and claimed the Shadow Dragon King’s body for itself as well…

The position of God King for this era would belong to it without a shred of doubt.

Setting all that aside, the Bronze Dragon King had also entered the Valley of Life alongside Lu Fan and the others, with the shared goal of eliminating the Desolate Ancient God.

Lu Fan bore some responsibility for the Bronze Dragon King’s safety.

If the Bronze Dragon King died here, even if Lu Fan and the others ultimately escaped, the sheer number of Dragons across the Dragon Domain who would consider him an enemy would be beyond counting.

In fact, the Bronze Dragon Clan alone would give Lu Fan more than enough of a headache.

For both personal and principled reasons, Lu Fan could not allow the Desolate Ancient God to cut down the Bronze Dragon King.

“Ye Sha!” Lu Fan called out in a low growl, intending to have Ye Sha use his abilities to sever the vines binding the Bronze Dragon King, helping her break free.

Yet just as Ye Sha was about to act, the vines suddenly bulged, and then, *Boom!*, they exploded apart on their own.

The vines shattered once again into fragments, scattering across the ground.

The Bronze Dragon King’s silhouette emerged from the debris, expanding rapidly as she transformed into her Dragon Form. It was clear she had actually gotten furious and intended to unleash her full rage.

“You wretched thing! How dare you hurt me!” The Bronze Dragon King crouched low, the Dragon Pressure of her Dragon Form erupting outward in continuous waves. It was awe-inspiring.

The Bronze Dragon King’s Dragon Form was unlike that of ordinary Bronze Dragons.

The radiance around her was restrained and drawn inward. It felt ancient and apparent, like metal that had settled and compressed over hundreds of millions of years, sculpted by time and pressure into the hardest metal that time could produce.

Though she had not yet struck a blow, Lu Fan could feel it clearly, the sheer physical magnitude of the Bronze Dragon King’s body at this moment surpassed anything he had ever witnessed among Dragons.

Even if his Pet Dragons were to unleash World Destroying Forbidden Spells, it would be difficult to critically wound her.

And concealed beneath that body was explosive power. She merely shifted slightly, and the air itself bent around her.

The Bronze Dragon King right now was not different to a killing instrument made flesh. Had she been an enemy, Lu Fan would have turned and fled at the very first opportunity, unless he had no choice but to fight her.

An opponent like this was simply too terrifying. If it were not a matter of life and death, who would ever want her as an enemy!?

Nearby, the Shadow Dragon King remained still throughout.

When he had first seen the Bronze Dragon King trapped, he had indeed, like Lu Fan, been prepared to step in. But when he sensed the Bronze Dragon King’s aura erupting, clearly signalling her intent to manifest her True Form, he withdrew. He no longer had any intention of continuing to help.

He knew that the moment the Bronze Dragon King transformed back to her Dragon Form, this battle was already over.

“She is only facing two of these wretched things and she already can’t hold herself back from transforming. Her temper hasn’t changed one bit…” The Shadow Dragon King muttered to himself. However, beside him, Lu Fan heard every word with perfect clarity. “And she said just recently that after being able to transform into a Human, she would make every effort to control her temper and not fly into rages so easily… Yet here we are. Her temper hasn’t changed in the slightest. I really shouldn’t have held out any hope that her foul temper could improve. From now on, I best be careful not to provoke her…”

This string of remarks left Lu Fan both amused and exasperated. He could not help but feel a pang of sympathy for the Shadow Dragon King’s predicament.

Having transformed into her Dragon Form, the Bronze Dragon King threw all restraint to the wind.

She had not yet made any additional movement, and already the fragments on the ground began to stir once more. Just as before, they reconstituted themselves into individual vines, lashing upward through the air, attempting to bind the Bronze Dragon King again.

This time, however, they were not as fortunate as before.

Faced with a sky full of whipping vines, the Bronze Dragon King raised a claw and swatted the air.

    *Boom!*

In an instant, a sonic boom erupted, dozens upon dozens of times louder than when she had been in her Human Form throwing a punch through the air.

Wherever the Bronze Dragon King’s Dragon Claw swept, the air ahead, along with space itself, shattered piece by piece into a blur.

Even the Space Principles seemed unable to withstand this single blow from the Bronze Dragon King, teetering on the verge of collapse.

And the vines caught within it naturally bore the full brunt of her attack. They absorb the entire force of the Bronze Dragon King’s strike.

In an instant, the vines exploded apart, then the fragments of those fragments continued to explode.

It seemed the force of the Bronze Dragon King’s single blow was simply too monstrous. There was simply nowhere to dissipate. Even when the fragments of the Life Dragon King Carcass had been reduced to something as fine as seeds, the force of that strike still had not disappeared. It continued to expend itself upon them, shattering them further, reducing them to even smaller particles.

So, observing from the outside, the Bronze Dragon King’s single blow had caused the vines to vanish almost instantaneously. There were not even ‘chunks’ to speak of.

“I simply don’t believe you can reassemble yourself after this!” The Bronze Dragon King withdrew her claw, eyeing the remnant particles. She eyed them with every indication that if they dared come back, she would swat them again and again, until nothing was left!
