Speaking of which, Lu Fan’s Super Treasure Map System had not played a role for quite some time.

This could not be helped. As Lu Fan’s Level increased, the Treasure Maps from the System became increasingly remote and difficult to reach.

Most Maps were so obscure that even Lu Fan could not tell where they were.

He estimated that many Maps were of location like the Heavenly Divine Peak or Dragon Fall Valley. Those were untamed areas within the Wilderness. Not only have they not been explored by Humans, but they also harboured Monsters above Level 100, making them true Forbidden Areas for Humans.

Previously, Lu Fan had been able to locate several Treasure Maps through the Secret Realm Hunter known as Hei Shu.

But, as his Level grew ever higher, Secret Realm Hunters of Hei Shu’s calibre could no longer find the places Lu Fan sought after.

Consequently, Lu Fan’s collection of Treasure Maps continued to accumulate. He even possessed three Divine Grade Treasure Maps with unknown locations.

Naturally, Lu Fan had successfully claimed some of them, yielding great Rewards.

However, these Rewards had not included rare treasures like Dragon Eggs.

Now Lu Fan had received another Divine Grade Treasure Map, and remarkably, these Map Coordinates were located precisely within the God’s Tomb Secret Realm! This discovery filled Lu Fan with tremendous excitement.

[Will I soon get my tenth Pet Dragon!? The timing of this Treasure Map is truly too lucky.]

Had it arrived several days later, after the God’s Tomb Secret Realm had closed, Lu Fan would have had to wait until the Secret Realm reopened to claim this Treasure Map.

Heaven only knew when that might occur.

Compared to the Divine Tempering Liquid within the God’s Tomb Secret Realm, the Divine Grade Treasure Map held even greater appeal for Lu Fan.

Since he had not yet collected all the key fragments for the Divine Tempering Pool Key, he had been aimless wandering through the God’s Tomb Secret Realm. He might as well claim the Treasure Map first.

Thus, Lu Fan’s objective became quite clear. He now proceeded directly towards the location indicated by the Divine Grade Treasure Map.

The Map Coordinates was a considerable distance from Lu Fan’s current position. As he travelled, he compared the route and determined that advancing while clearing Monsters along the way would require at least one or two days.

However, what Lu Fan had was time. So, he felt no urgency. He naturally would not forgo the Monsters he might encounter along the way.

Over the following day, Lu Fan advanced steadily, gaining plenty.

He collected another key fragment and used Secret Realm Talismans to increase his Attributes by approximately forty thousand.

Regarding other Rewards, he received various items of reasonable value.

Unfortunately, few of these proved useful to him.

Throughout his journey, all Treasure Chests were quietly collected by Wang Tianlang. Lu Fan made no objection to this, preferring to observe what schemes Wang Tianlang might be plotting.

Finally, following the Treasure Map, Lu Fan arrived near the Map Coordinates.

It was no longer a dense woodland but rather an immense lake.

The God’s Tomb Secret Realm contained diverse terrain, so the presence of such an ocean-like lake seemed perfectly natural.

This great lake contained more than water though.

Numerous white bones from unknown creatures stood from within it, protruding above the surface, allowing Players without the capability to fly to traverse these bones to reach the centre of the lake.

    [How peculiar…]

Just as Lu Fan was about to use Black Dragon Perception to investigate whether Monsters lurked beneath the waters, his attention was captured by a scene at the lake’s very centre in the far-off distance.

Now, Black Dragon Perception proves to be unnecessary. Someone had already caused trouble above the waters on his behalf.

In the horizon, tremendous sounds gradually approached. Clearly, someone was engaged in a fierce battle.

Lu Fan squinted and observed three figures in the distance, locked in combat with an enormous creature.

The massive Monster resembled a crocodile approximately one hundred metres in length. Though, its form appeared more elongated and agile than the typical crocodile.

Its entire body was covered in protruding crimson scales, which were as hard as steel, allowing it to withstand the fierce assault of its three opponents without sustaining severe damage.

Simultaneously, it seemed capable of manipulating the entire lake’s waters, periodically raising large waves to strike the three figures besieging it, or ejecting blasts of water from its jaw.

These water blasts were thick and held tremendous force. Each time they swept across the white bones within the lake, they were like sharp blades, slicing through them with no resistance.

This Boss was formidable, far surpassing the other Monsters Lu Fan had previously encountered.

Lu Fan used Appraisal from a distance and confirmed that it was called, Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor, a Level 120 Epic Grade Boss.

Such a Boss could not be handled by ordinary Level 110 Players.

That was why the small wonder of Players working together could be seen right in front of Lu Fan right now.

Also, these three Players were not currently battling this Monster in their Human Form.

Among the three, one had transformed into an Immortal Crane wreathed in brilliant light.

The Skills this person threw out possessed tremendous power. Each time the Immortal Crane flapped its wings, the surrounding light transformed into crimson silk, striking at the Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor, causing it to churn within the lake.

Another had assumed the form of an Armoured Giant Battle Gorilla, wielding a black iron spear. Through its superior Strength and Endurance Attributes, this person firmly wrestled with the Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor, preventing it from escaping to attack the other two.

It was obvious this person had extremely strong Defence and was capable of rapid healing. After each injury, it seemed to be growing stronger.

It was only because of this Armoured Giant Battle Gorilla that the other two could fight with restraint, fully focused on Damage Output.

Lu Fan recognised these two individuals as Yuan Jingang of the Yuan Family and Li Qingfeng of the Li Family.

The final figure had transformed into a skeleton wearing tattered Mage Robes and wielded a black gemstone staff, continuously applying various Debuffs to the Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor through Curse Skills.

Although the Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor possessed High Debuff Resistance, this person’s Skills were extraordinary. This person still manages to reduce the Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor’s Attributes.

Without these Debuffs, Li Qingfeng and Yuan Jingang would likely struggle to engage the Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor.

Lu Fan searched his memory and recalled that final figure. He should be a servant dispatched by the Ding Family. His real name remained unknown; and he was only known by this title as the Black Mage. He was an elderly man who was advanced in years.

The coordination between the three proved highly effective.

However, even with three of them together, they were merely evenly matched against the Divine Lake Crocodile Ancestor.
