With each resonant clash of bronze and the ceaseless grinding of gears, the Bronze Serpent’s every attack struck with a force capable of moving mountains and filling seas.

However, now that Ouyang Bai Ge had discovered the Bronze Qilin’s tracks, no one lingered for long on the Bronze Serpent. Their attention had already shifted to where exactly the Bronze Qilin was.

Han Ke, being a Supporter, was under no great pressure in combat, and had been staying close to Ouyang Bai Ge’s side all along.

Upon hearing that Ouyang Bai Ge had found the Bronze Qilin, she immediately asked with delighted surprise. “Teacher Ouyang, where is the Bronze Qilin right now?”

Ouyang Bai Ge focused her senses and said. “Not too far from our current position. A few hours should be enough to get there. It seems like the Bronze Qilin does indeed exist, it’s just that over these past few days, it could use some kind of Concealment Skill, and hid itself away, which is why I hadn’t detected it all this time.”

“Though it is a body of bronze, it is ultimately still a living creature, and must eat. So, it could no longer resist showing itself, and got noticed by my Void Insects.” Pausing briefly, Ouyang Bai Ge continued. “I’ve already had my Void Insects locked onto it. So long as it appears, there will be no escape. Now, let’s go and capture it.”

    “Yes!” Everyone responded in unison.

With that, no one had any further intention of wasting more time with the Bronze Serpent.

The Asura King body suddenly surged, swelling to roughly three times its original size.

Before this, the Bronze Serpent had held an obvious physical advantage. It was clearly several sizes larger than the Asura King.

This was why its Attacks had been able to force the Asura King back again and again, putting it temporarily at a disadvantage.

But now, the Asura King’s stature had grown even larger than the Bronze Serpent, and the latter’s advantage instantly crumbled to nothing.

The Asura King brought its sword cleaving downward, an attack entirely unlike before, its might multiplied several times over!

*Sssssssiiii!!!* The Bronze Serpent had intended to brace against the blow with its own body, but the sword came crashing down upon it and immediately carved a vast wound some three metres deep into its flesh!

The Bronze Serpent screamed pitiably, rolling several times across the ground before barely managing to come to a halt.

At that moment, though its entire body was cast of bronze, Lu Fan and the others could still make out an extraordinarily complex expression on its face.

That expression held both incomprehension and fear, both bewilderment and alarm.

It seemed to have realised that it had all been an act. This group of people had been trading blows with it earlier, at times even being suppressed by it, allowing it to fully display the might of a Divine Being-level Boss. Yet, it was just them going easy on it.

With how strong it was, it was indeed a King Among-Kings within the Three Star Bronze Forest.

To proclaim itself a Divine Being of this place would have been entirely without issue.

It had been brimming with pride before, convinced it could easily handle the intruders before it.

Yet now that they had suddenly unleashed their true strength, it found itself momentarily questioning everything. [So the reason you looked like you couldn’t beat me earlier was all just an act!?]

Lu Fan proceeded to demonstrate with actions that as a matter of fact, it was truly an act.

Now that they had somewhere to be. No more pretending. All cards were on the table!

After the Asura King sent the Bronze Serpent reeling with one sword strike, Ye Wuxian transformed into a blazing whirlwind and came charging in from beside the Asura King.

Within the towering flames, the exquisite silhouette of Ye Wuxian could be dimly perceived.

Gripping Refined Ashless in hand, she drove forward with a single thrust, sweeping along with it a surging column of roaring fire, an assault of overwhelming ferocity.

The Bronze Serpent was greatly startled and wheeled around, attempting to flee and evade Ye Wuxian’s strike.

However, Ye Wuxian’s movements at this moment were an entirely different matter compared to before.

As she surged forward with tremendous force, the flames blazing across her body grew ever more intense and fierce, leaving the Bronze Serpent with nowhere to flee!

The Bronze Serpent let out a mournful cry and was struck by Ye Wuxian once more. Its entire body launched upward and sent crashing dozens of metres away.

    *Boom!*

The Bronze Serpent’s enormous body slammed heavily to the ground, sending tremors and quakes through the Bronze Forest.

Not only had the Bronze Serpent been battered to utter disorientation, but its abdomen had been left with a burning wound that had nearly split its body clean in two.

Though it was a body made of some bronze-like metal, under the blistering heat of Ye Wuxian’s Ancient God Power, its form had been melted into liquid metal, which flowed and pooled across the ground.

Two successive strikes had dealt devastating Damage to the Bronze Serpent, its vitality rapidly draining away. It was now on its last breath, with very little strength remaining.

It had no time to catch its breath, for at that moment it understood every single person before it was no different to that of Demons!

All it wanted to do now was to run!

The Bronze Serpent hurriedly rolled itself over and began driving its enormous head into the earth, attempting to burrow underground and escape from this place.

But with such an exceptionally Experience Point rich Boss in front of them, how could Lu Fan possibly allow it to leave?

The reason no one had killed it earlier was precisely because it was quite strong, making it perfectly suited as a whetstone for Jian Ying and the others to hone their combat skills and sharpen their mastery of their Ancient God Power.

Now that they had somewhere to be and no time to toy with it further, of course they would slaughter it and claim its Experience Points and whatever Rewards it dropped.

Seeing it attempting to flee, Ye Wuxian, Jian Ying, and the others all moved to strike again and finish it off in an instant.

However, a terrible pressure that descended upon them in the very next moment made them suddenly realise that their own actions were perhaps no longer needed.

For a far more dreadful presence had, at that moment, already pronounced the Bronze Serpent’s death sentence…

    It was Lu Fan.

*Ang!* Accompanied by a clear and resonant Dragon Roar, Xiao Ye was summoned by Lu Fan, simultaneously switching into her Destruction Dragon Form.

In this Form, Xiao Ye’s Mana Attribute doubled directly, and the might of her Dragon Language Magic was multiplied!

With Xiao Ye’s eyes flickering with fire, the ground beneath the Bronze Serpent suddenly erupted in crimson light. It was as though some Heavenly fire from deep below was about to come blasting upward.

    The next instant.

    Magma Burst!

The position where the Bronze Serpent stood transformed, as if into the mouth of a volcano.

Dazzling, scorching flames surged forth in a frenzy from deep beneath the earth, engulfing the Bronze Serpent within them in an instant.

The formidable flames were not from Ye Wuxian’s Ancient God Power. Yet the temperature contained within them was not in the least inferior to Ye Wuxian’s own flames.

In fact, owing to the enormous Dragon’s formidable Attributes, the might of Magma Burst was far more terrifying than any Skill Ye Wuxian could unleash!

The Bronze Serpent, enveloped within the pillar of fire, was in immediate and unbearable agony. Within the range of Magma Burst’s Skill Effect, it thrashed its enormous body in a frenzy.

Everyone watched as, within the blazing light, that massive form gradually dissolved away with each successive writhing convulsion.

At last, the silhouette vanished completely.

Only then did Magma Burst finally stop, and the firelight slowly faded away.

Where the Skill had been cast, was the ground completely scorched black. There was nothing remaining but rolling lava, and three glowing orbs.

The orbs were, without question, equipment dropped by the Bronze Serpent, awaiting Lu Fan to collect them.
