    On Shadow Isle.

After several days of recuperation, everyone had more or less recovered from the previous battle against the Slaughter Ancient God, and their condition had returned to its peak.

At this moment, Lu Fan sat atop the uppermost island of Shadow Isle, gazing out across the whole of Shadow Isle and the surrounding sea.

The spot where he sat had originally been the altar where the Slaughter Ancient God resided.

In the battle against the Slaughter Ancient God earlier, the altar had been nearly reduced to rubble. Originally, Lu Fan had thought to ask some Engineer Type Players from the Situ Family or the Ye Family to help him rebuild it.

As it turned out, while resting on Shadow Isle, Ouyang Bai Ge mentioned that she could use the Void Insects to reassemble the entire altar herself.

This left Lu Fan both astonished and delighted. He had never imagined that beyond combat, Ouyang Bai Ge could also repair shattered structures.

And so, Lu Fan handed the task over to Ouyang Bai Ge.

Ouyang Bai Ge released a type of Void Insect that resembled silkworms. They came in staggering numbers, no fewer than tens of thousands.

She then also released the giant Void Insect she had summoned during the battle against the Slaughter Ancient God, to help the smaller Void Insects shift the rubble and restore it as closely as possible to its original position.

The silkworm-like Void Insects could secrete a substance that once solidified, resembled jade. It would bond the shattered altar back together without a trace of any crack being visible.

And so, after three days of repair, the altar had essentially been restored to its original appearance. Every crack in the ground had been fully mended, with not the faintest trace remaining.

Thus, beyond serving as a space to store miscellaneous items, it could also serve as a grand arena.

Reinforced by Ouyang Bai Ge’s Void Insects, it could now withstand combat between Ancient Gods.

Afterwards, when Jian Ying and the others sparred with Ye Wuxian, they would all come here.

After the four of them had fought, the altar remained entirely intact. It was extraordinarily sturdy.

Beyond these uses, Lu Fan simply treated it as a lookout.

Since this island sat at the very top of Shadow Isle, looking down from here made even Shadow Isle itself appear rather small.

Sitting at the very top of the altar, Lu Fan had the entirety of the surrounding sea within his line of sight. He could even see several small islands that were ordinarily invisible to the naked eye, scattered at considerable distances from Shadow Isle.

The sea was a boundless, brilliant blue, churning with great waves, dotted here and there with several vibrantly green small islands. It was a vista Lu Fan had never encountered back on Blue Star.

Within Lu Fan’s field of vision, a Giant Dragon flew out from one of the small islands, a massive Monster clamped in its jaws that was roughly the size of an elephant, heading towards Shadow Isle.

That was the Two Headed Dragon who lived on Shadow Isle, out hunting prey for the little Dragon Hatchlings on the island.

Indeed, over this period, the Life Dragon King had given birth to new Dragons once more.

Shadow Isle now had thirteen young Dragons residing upon it.

These thirteen young Dragons were still in their Infant Phase, very much resembling the early Xiao Ye.

Though Giant Dragons were an inherently formidable species from birth, it all depended on how one compared.

Against Monsters of the same Level, they were existences that lord over everything. But against High Level Monsters… their Combat Power was still far from enough.

At the very least, expecting them to hunt the Monsters of Shadow Isle was too dangerous.

At the same time, because the Monsters of Shadow Isle were Dark Element and Ghost Type Monsters, they were not suited for Dragons to devour for sustenance.

Naturally, the other Giant Dragons on Shadow Isle had taken on the task of rearing the hatchlings.

The Two Headed Dragon and the others went out hunting virtually every day, heading to nearby small islands to kill powerful Monsters and bring back meat and prey for the younglings to eat.

The Two Headed Dragon had just returned from a nearby small island. Lu Fan then noticed a stretch of sea where smoke and fire suddenly erupted, spreading across the surface for dozens of kilometres.

A Flame Dragon burst out of the water, its great claws gripping an enormous Monster that was not much smaller than itself, shaped like a sea serpent.

The Monster was still struggling, clearly not having been struck down outright.

However, any struggling beneath the Flame Dragon’s talons was utterly feeble, incapable of making the slightest difference.

Moreover, the flames upon the Flame Dragon churned and surged without ceasing, rolling over the Monster again and again, scorching its flesh.

By the time it was brought back to Shadow Isle, the timing would be just right for the little ones to eat.

Lu Fan narrowed his eyes and took a careful look, and found that the prey the Flame Dragon had caught was no ordinary thing. It was a Monster possessing partial Giant Dragon Bloodline, its species was equivalent to that of Flying Dragons.

Flesh and blood carrying Dragon Bloodline such as this would surely be tremendously nourishing for the young Dragons.

Watching everything proceeding in orderly fashion, Lu Fan could not help but let a faint smile rise to his lips.

At this moment, Han Ke and the others were most likely either Levelling Up or soaking in the Fortune Glowing Spring.

This sort of life was not bad at all. Having a Territory of one’s own, surrounded by Family and friends, every day as though on holiday.

What a pity, should the era end, all of it would cease to exist.

At this thought, Lu Fan’s resolve to prevent it from happening was only further strengthened.

Just then, a burst of flame erupted in the sky above Shadow Isle, the firelight blooming like fireworks. Even up here on the uppermost island, Lu Fan could see it clearly.

Lu Fan knew this was Ye Wuxian using a Skill to signal him to come down.

He did not continue sitting idly here, but instead leapt to his feet and jumped straight down from the altar.

The uppermost island was no less than ten thousand metres above the ground below. Lu Fan fell freely, letting his body pass through wind and clouds in an unbroken descent. The sensation was truly exhilarating.

Only as he neared the airspace above Shadow Isle did he unfurl his Bone Wings. Beating them once was all it took to arrest the momentum of his fall.

Below, Ye Wuxian was already waiting there.

Alongside her, Ouyang Bai Ge was also present.

Lu Fan landed, first giving Ouyang Bai Ge a nod in greeting.

Then, Ye Wuxian said with a grin, “It was Ouyang Teacher who asked me to call you. She said there’s something she needs to discuss with you. Now that you’re down, I’ll head off first. Today, I should be able to break through to Level 130, and grow even stronger.”

“Great, go Level Up then.” Lu Fan smiled and gave Ye Wuxian a nod.

Ye Wuxian transformed herself into flames, shooting up into the sky and heading towards the second island.

Once Ye Wuxian was gone, Lu Fan then turned to ask Ouyang Bai Ge, “Ouyang Teacher, you called me down, is something wrong?”

Ouyang Bai Ge gave a nod, her expression turning serious. “Naturally, I’ve come to ask you what you plan to do about the Ancient God Divine Seats.”
